  1. According to science gravity is not what holds everything together. Gravity calculations poses a huge problem with their past theories so they came up dark matter as what holds things together not gravity. Gravity would cause our solar system to collapse on itself. Earth is the densest object in our solar system. The bibles does not say God created millions of Suns, Moons, and Planets. It says he created one Sun and one Moon and stars to provide light to the earth and for signs and seasons.
  2. I would not say knowledge of the future is demonic. One of the operations of the Holy Spirit is to show you things to come. Also, would you consider John's Revelation of the future from a demonic source? Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. - Jhn 16:13
  3. Hmmm....people all around the world pray to statues to include RCC statues. There are even protestant believers that think it is okay to pray to paintings of Jesus and wooden crosses. Idolatry is still a sin even under the new covenant. Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry. - 1Co 10:14 KJV Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. - Gal 5:19-21 KJV ----------- IDOL'ATRY, noun [Latin idololatria. Gr. idol, and to worship or serve.] 1. The worship of idols, images, or any thing made by hands, or which is not God. Idolatry is of two kinds; the worship of images, statues, pictures, etc. made by hands; and the worship of the heavenly bodies, the sun, moon and stars, or of demons, angels, men and animals. 2. Excessive attachment or veneration for any thing, or that which borders on adoration.
  4. Hmmm...how does science explain anything about God? How does science explain creation as described in the bible? The world wide flood of Noah? The parting of the sea? The virgin birth of Messiah? The miracles that Jesus performed? The power of his crucifixion? The resurrection of Messiah? Salvation of believers? The new birth? Eternal life? Yes, I am sure science will attempt explain away the miracles of God as natural phenomena and how the bible got it all wrong. Also, what does your son being a computer engineer have to do with anything? I am also engineer with a Masters degree in Computer Science and can tell you math or science does not explain our supernatural God. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where [is] the wise? where [is] the scribe? where [is] the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, [are called]: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; - 1Co 1:18-27 KJV
  5. Where does it read their will be a rapture at the 6th seal? Jesus does say for the elect sack those days (Great Tribulation) will be shortened, different interpretations of what that means. Some say it means God takes them (True Believers) out of the Great Tribulation while the rest of humanity is left to suffer the Wrath to come, minus those the 140,000 sealed and protected. Also, it does say between the 6th and 7th seal there was a multitude of people from every nation that no one could number standing around the the throne of God that were taken out of the Great Tribulation. This could be either though rapture or martyrdom. I lean towards it being martyrdom under the 5th and 6th seal.
  6. Yet here you are calling Jews who follow Jesus "Apostates". How is this not as hostile than what you have stated? Sounds like you have a double standard.
  7. At what point in history was Israel ever faithful to God? The majority of Israel has always been apostate even to this day. Israel from the start has been subversive and rebellious towards God. From the time God brought them out of Egypt till this very day, Israel has been apostate to God. However, God has always had a small remnant of faithful people that are true to his Word not the majority of Israel. Israel killed all the prophets of God sent to them, your own Tanakh and your prophets testifies of this. Listen to the words of Stephen a faithful Jew spoke before he was stoned to death by a group of Rabbis. You stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit. As your fathers did, so do you. Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who announced beforehand the coming of the Righteous One, whom you have now betrayed and murdered - Act 7:51-52 Yeshua speaking to Jewish Rabbi Leaders: O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, [thou] that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under [her] wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the Lord. - Mat 23:34-39
  8. Jesus responded to Nicodemus with the following: Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? - Jhn 3:10 It was expected of Nicodemus who is trained in the scriptures' to understand the meaning of the new birth based on scriptures. So where is the new birth teaching spoken of in the OT scriptures. Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn [yourselves] from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? - Eze 18:30-31 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do [them]. - Eze 36:25-27 KJV Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day [that] I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. - Jer 31:31-34 KJV The new birth is God taking out the old corrupted heart and giving you a new clean heart birth by the Spirit of God and has his Laws written upon them giving us the power and nature to obey them. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. - Jhn 1:12-13 KJV And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. - 1Jo 2:3-6 KJV
  9. I am pretty sure there is no way to confirm supernatural experiences using scientific methods. Many people have had these experiences and I don't believe they are making this stuff up. Paul writes about where he knew someone that went up into the third heaven and said he was unable to confirm if it was in the body or out-of-body but said this person saw things that they were not able speak about. Ezekiel had a supernatural experience while he was living in Babylon, where God took him supernaturally to Jerusalem to show him all the abominations that were taking place at the Temple. Apostle John, wrote about his supernatural experience, where God called him up to heaven to show him things about the future and to write about them. Many other cases in the bible such as Enoch, Elijah, Lazarus, Phillip, etc....
  10. Good point. Such of world wide flood would have reconfigured the face of the earth and rivers.
  11. Yes, I believe NDEs are real. I have never had one but I have had family members and friends that have had ND/out-of-body experience, where they died, left their bodies but could still see their body and other people in a room and hear them talking and was able to tell them what they were talking about in detail after they came back into their body.
  12. What are you calling the King of the North?
  13. Resurrection and Reincarnation are different. Reincarnation refers to the transfer of soul into another human body or nonhuman being after they die. This is a buddist teaching. Resurrection is the returning the soul and spirit into the same body. In the resurrection, it does say our bodies will be changed into glorified bodies that can not die, but this in no way has same meaning as reincarnation. Its the same body, just as Jesus body was the same body but glorified and immortal. His body that was put into the tomb, was the same body that was resurrected.
  14. No....Jesus disciples asked Jesus two separate questions in Mat 24: 1. When will be the Destruction of the Temple? 2. What will be the sign of your coming/end of the world? Jesus answered both, but that does not mean both have to happen at the same time. The desolation of Jerusalem and the Temple happened in 70 AD. The Great Tribulation and his 2nd Coming is still to come. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen [doth gather] her brood under [her] wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until [the time] come when ye shall say, Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the Lord. - Luk 13:34-35 KJV And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to [him] for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, {Question 1}when shall these things be {Destruction of the Temple}? This happened in 70 AD. {Question 2} and what [shall be] the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? Still to come. - Mat 24:1-3 KJV No mention of a rebuilt/man-made Jerusalem Temple in the Book of Revelation.
  15. No...Jerusalem was not desolated in 167bc, yes it was conquered and defiled but not desolated. Jerusalem was left in tack and controlled by Greece. It was desolated later by Rome in 70AD, by a Syrian commander named Titus.
  16. The King of the North was Greece (northern army) led by Antiochus IV Epiphanes the (King of the South) was King Ptolemy VI of Egypt. This has already happened.
  17. True, but even according to Jewish rabbinical law one does not lose their identity to Israel due to having mixed ethnicity. Most Jews today are have mixed ethnicity to some degree and the majority of Jews can not trace there linage back to any specific tribe of Israel. Yes, most Jewish rabbis say ethnicity is passed down through the mother, but this poses a huge problem. King David and Jesus have gentile grandmothers listed in their genealogy: Rahab (Canaanite), Ruth (Moab), and Bathsheba (Hittite) were gentile grandmothers listed in the genealogy of Jesus.
  18. The first beast Revelation 13 is a world government, the second beast is the false prophet aka "Anti-Christ" that performs false signs and wonders, causes all to worship the first beast (world government) and cause all small and great to take a mark (666) in allegiance with the world government.
  19. Thought this was pretty funny and sadly accurate for many Christians. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnnbkxzYoUo
  20. Samaritans are actually Israelites (not gentiles) they belonged to the northern Kingdom of Israel. Jews did not consider them Jews because they had their own worship sites had their own version of the Torah. In fact, Jews detested them and would not have anything to do with them. This is why the women at the well and his disciples were surprised that Jesus would talk to a Samaritan. https://www.gotquestions.org/Samaritans.html
  21. Either way, you just can't force scriptures to say somethings that it does not say in order to justify a doctrine found no where in scripture.
  22. Yes @Who me does make some valid points. It is really hard sometimes to id a scammer. That is why I direct them to organizations that are equipped with working with suffering Christians and they are better at identifying those who are truly in need. I would be cautious about anyone who is asking for money online. Loving your neighbor starts with those who are actually your neighbors.
  23. This is in no way directed at Estera, but we do have to be aware of scammers that come on here and target individuals for money, claiming to be Christians that are suffering and need financial support. They usually don't start out asking for money, but as they hone in on their targets they gradually do. This has happened to me a few times while on here where someone made a post about their suffering and I politely replied, and shortly after they were hitting me up with private messages that lead to them asking for money.
