  1. What would have been the result if Eve sinned but Adam didn't regarding eating of the tree? Or what would have been the result say Adam or Eve did not sin in the Garden but say one of their children sinned and ate of the forbidden tree? How would have these scenarios played out on the rest humanity? When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam's sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. [Rom 5:12 ]
  2. Most of the "613" OT Laws are not for everyone. Some are for Kings, Priest, Slave owners, Feast, Farmers, Herdsman, etc... Deuteronomy also known as the Second Law (Secondary Laws to the Ten Commandments) that was given to Moses and was the civil statutes they were to live by once they crossed over into the land of Israel (Deut 5:31). These were the laws governing the land of Israel and it governed laws such as marriage, divorce, rape, incest, theft murder, caring for the poor, farming, livestock, land ownership, sickness, slavery, etc... It would be comparable to the 30,000+ statutes and laws the US has that everyone living here is required to obey. The Book of Leviticus was written for the Levitical Priest to govern temple worship, ceremonial duties, feast, etc... The Royal Law as James calls it are the 10 Commandments and it applies to everyone. It is the Supreme Law of God. I would say it is much like the Constitution of all other sub-laws that you refer too. I was reading recently that there are over 1000 commandments given in the NT, but if we want to be specific about the Commandments that Christ gave directly it is a lot more than 17 commandments. I am currently working on a list of commandments that Jesus gave, here is a short list. I am still working though a few other Gospels. God's commandments can be summed up in two Commandments: Love God and Love Others and if we are keeping the Commandments of Christ you are also fulfilling the Royal Law. Jesus Commandments: Repent and Believe (Mak 1:15) Be Baptized (Mark 16:16) Must Be Born Again (John 3:3-21) Love God (Matt 22:37-38) Love Your Neighbor (Matt 22:39) Obey and Teach God’s Law even the least of Commandments (Mat 5:17-20) Do Not Murder or be Angry with your Brother (Matt 5:22-24) Do Not Lust (Mat 5:27-28) Do Not Commit Adultery or Divorce Unjustly (Mat 5:29-39) Do not Return Evil with Evil (Mat 5:39-42) Love, Do Good, and Pray for your Enemies (Mat 5:44-46) Be Merciful (Luke 6:36) Do Not Judge (Mat 7:1-6) Treat Others Like You Want to be Treated (Matthew 7:12) Follow the Narrow Path that leads to Life (Mat 7:13-14) Let Your Light Shine, Do Not Cover It (Mat 5:15-16) Acknowledge Him before Others, Do not be Ashamed (Mat 10:26) Do Not Be Like the Hypocrites that Give and Pray to be seen of men (Mat 6:1-7) Do Not Pray like the Hypocrites that use long wordy prayers and vain repetitions (Mat 6:7) Pray to God in secret. (Mat 6:6) Pray after this manner (Mat 6:9-13) Forgive so that you can be Forgiven (Mat 6:14-15) Lay not up Treasure on Earth but in Heaven (Mat 6:19-21) Do Not Worry About Provisions, God will Provide (Mat 6:25-34) Seek First the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness (Matt 6:33) Pray and it will be given to you (Mat 7:7-12) Beware of False Prophets, You will know them by their Fruit. (Mat 7:15-20) Do Not Be Deceived (Luk 21:8) Be Not a Hearer only but a Doer of His Teachings (Mat 7:24-29) Keep My Commandments (John 14:15) Don't cause others to sin (especially children) (Mat 18:6-7) Care for those in Distress (Mat 25:34-36) Give to the Poor and Needy (Mat 19:21) Worship God in Truth and In Spirit (Jn 4:24) Deny Yourself and Take up Your Cross and Follow Him (Mat 16:24) Have Faith in God (Mar 11:22-24) Do This in Remembrance of Me (Mat 26:26-28) Wait for The Promise of the Father to receive Power from on High (Luke 24:49) Preach Repentance and Deliverance of Sins among all the Nations. (Luk 24:47) Go Make Disciples, Baptizing them and Teaching them to Obey His Commandments (Mat 28:19:20) Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils (Mat 10:8) Endure until the End (Mat 24:13) Watch and Be Ready for His Return (Mat 24:36-44)
  3. Perfect! Makes for a good analogy for why we should obey God and trust him when we don't fully understand why.
  4. No point other than what is in my OP. Does Jesus teachings offend you?
  5. I am sure she turned out to be a blessing and God bless your aunt for making the sacrifice to love someone who needed it most and pointing her in the right direction in life.
  6. God would never give us commandments and not give us the power to do them. Jesus said that the words he spoke are going to judge us on that great day. I don't understand what you mean by fulfilled. Just because He lived a life of perfect obedience does not make you exempt from obeying his teachings and commands. He lived a obedient life and gave us an example to follow after. He said if you love him you will obey his commands and if you don't love him you will disobey and disregard his commandments. "If you love Me, keep My commandments. [Jhn 14:15]
  7. @tatwo According to scripture after Yahshua rose from the dead he stated this authority had been given to him. Satan no longer has that authority based on what I read below. Maybe this authority is not presently fruitioned until he returns in full authority. Either way, He presently holds this authority. Amen And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, [even] to the end of the age." Amen. [Mat 28:18-20 NKJV]
  8. United States is a constitutional republic and not based on a popular vote like some democracy's. This is in favor of minority groups. Having an elector college that is based on population size turns the const republic back into popularity contest/popular vote that undermines a constitutional republic.
  9. So you don't think Christ's teaching's are applicable today? And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
  10. Yes, He forgave us first, but we are still commanded to forgive others or God will not forgive you. Consider the story of the of the unmerciful servant: Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants. And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents. But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt. But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took [him] by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest. And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done. Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses. [Mat 18:23-35 KJV]
  11. I dislike this whole key state shenanigans. I don't think our founding fathers ever intended for certain key states to be the deciding factor on who becomes president. It seems the original intent was that every state have an equal say so in who becomes president and you would have to win over the majority of states to become president not just key states with the most delegates. Now we have Presidents that only campaign in key states that have the most delegates instead of trying to appeal to all states.
  12. I find it interesting that all the Church's of Asia had rejected Paul but we see John in The Book of Revelation through the Spirit giving admonishment and instructions to the Churches of Asia. Paul: This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes. [2Ti 1:15 KJV] John: to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; [Rev 1:4 KJV] John though the Spirit even commends them for rejecting false apostles: I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: [Rev 2:2 KJV]
  13. Thank you. Yes, I have those already listed. Love God and Keep His Commandments.
  14. I put a list together of commandments that Yahshua (Jesus) gave. Let me know if I missed any not already covered.
  15. Obviously, the serpent before God cursed him was not like any other serpent we know today. This serpent was considered a beast of the field which means it had legs and was considered some type of cattle or mammal that grazed the fields. I use to believe the serpent was some type of dinosaur, not really sure if I lean that way today. After the curse the bible says the serpent was cursed to crawl on its belly and eat dust with its food. If you look a all reptiles today they all crawl on their belly and eat dirt mixed with their food. Snakes, turtles, allegators, lizards, etc... I read a lot noncanonical books like Enoch, Jubilees, Jasher, and the apocrypha and many of those books state there was a time before the flood that animals spoke and communicated with man. Also, talks in the books of Jasher about how the fallen angels not only interbreed with humans to create giants but also corrupted and interbreed with animals to form gigantic creatures which we might would call dinosaurs today. God said before the flood that all flesh had become corrupted to include animals. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. ... The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. [Gen 6:7, 11-13 ]
  16. You are calling the descendants of Jacob 'the Beast'. Your ramblings make no sense...wake up for its too late for you.
  17. You are blinded by your hate for Israel. Israel has always wanted peace and has bent over backwards at their expense to help facilitate peace with its neighbors. Hamas does not want peace nor is willing to even discuss peace with Israel. They want the complete annihilation of the Jewish state and its people. In fact the Israeli concert Hamas invaded and killed so many people at was an event supporting peace between Israel and Palestinians. You talk about how Israel is intentionally targeting women and children which is absolutely absurd...but you got Hamas who literally is targeting women and children and murdering them in cold blood yet you turn a blind eye and point the finger at Israel. The spirit of hate you represent towards Israel is not of God.
  18. And that will not happen until after Messiah returns... And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plow-shares, and their spears into pruning-hooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. [Mic 4:3]
  19. I don't understand the question. US constitutional laws already places limitations on the President's power.
  20. It does not have to be murder..it could be lie, cheat, steal, bear false witness, adultery, etc.... I just used that as an example. You get the point hopefully.
  21. There is collateral civilian damage in every war and Ukraine is not an exception. Israel has always taken great strides to prevent collateral damage. On the other hand Hamas and other Islamic militant groups do not have a care in the world if you are a innocent civilian (man, women, teenage, or child) or military target, they will kill you regardless and with much gladness for Allah. If you don't see the difference your the one that is blind. In fact, Hamas does even care about killing their own people using them as human shields, using schools, hospitals, and masques for missile launch sites and military hideouts. I was reading reports where Israel was forewarning civilians in Gaza to leave the area before the bombing, but Hamas would not let them leave and even killed the ones who tried to leave.
  22. The word formless can mean with out form or no material existence. Meaning the earth had not been formed yet. formless /fôrm′lĭs/ adjective Having no definite form; shapeless. "a formless unicellular organism." Lacking order. "formless activity." Having no material existence. "a formless void."
  23. Usually the analogy of broken cisterns or dry wells it usually in refers to false gods/idols, false prophets, false teachers. This is exactly what going on in Jeremiah's day, not only had they rejected God (living waters) and his ways but went about setting up their on religious system to include false teachers, false prophets and false gods/idols. And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands. [Jer 1:16]
