Amen!!! I agree with what u have quoted, using the KJV, is excellent, that is all I read is the KJV - For the time is short, just remember to keep looking up for our redeemer cometh. Walk always in the Word, we are to grow in the wisdom of the Lord. We need to be about our Father's business, time is short, and I am listening also for the trumpet to sound.

Put those thoughts behind you...it is non-productive thought...People are so private and non-commital that people move in and put of church in our transient society...it is not proof positive that they were not concerned about you...they may not have known how to approach you. People often don't know what to say, without being overly confrontational or nosey... I appreciate the sentiment but I was attempting to make a point (quite poorly obviously). Personally I would not care very much either way. I was concerned by the number of responses suggesting that if anyone brought the issue up it would be a bad thing. I read your post, I had a problem with ants, and I went to wal-mart and got this stuff called Torro, it comes in this bottle, it is clear and it has tabs that you will put the liquid on it. Put it behind things on your counter like cookie jars, or where there is a line of them, they will eat it up and take it back to the queen ant, I guarantee it works. we use it every spring and summer. You can buy it at wal-mart at the garden center or you can get it at Ace Hardware, or what hardware store you have. Please let me know if it worked for you YSIC Littlelite

I feel the same way, we can give tracts out, as long as we do not interfere with their going in or out. Everyone has a schedule. My husband and I gave out tracts last 4th of July. We were shopping also. The tracts were beautiful, wth an Eagle and the American flag on it. We gave out 150 tracts in about 20 minutes. We would hand one to ppl and wish them a Happy 4th of July celebration. The ppl received them so well. Be tacful when handing out tracts. God will bless how you approach ppl when handing out the gospel in a peaceful and wonderful way. I like Wal-mart as far as my shopping needs. IT is alot cheaper in the foods that I use than in some grocery stores. Be tacful and pray. Be kind and let God lead, guide and direct in everything you do or say. YSIC Littlelite

It never seems to me amaze me how much the evil one hates us. I love WB and all the ppl that make it work. I love the bible studies and the fellowship. Sure we are always going to have a few bad eggs now and then, satan hates it when we are having a wonderful time praising and fellowshipping together, even in cyberspace. Read 2 Tim.2:15 Study to shew thyself approved, unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Always pray and ask the Holy Spirit for understanding of His word. When I first became a christian I did not always understand everything I read in the Bible. I became discouraged alot. A friend of mine, told me before I read the Bible. to always pray to the Holy Spirit for understanding of God's word. I also had 5 different translations of the Bible. The more I prayed about spiritual understanding, the more His word became clear to me. I was able to share God's word more with other ppl. and share the Gospel. Well I think that is great that you are into that stuff, thank God we are all different. I will praise the Lord on a different level than you, why imitate the world. Yes, we are to make a joyful noise unto the Lord, Sing, and praise him, shout, make melody to the Lord, we can do this in a Godly way, we do not have to imitate the world, sometimes scripture is taken out of context. No offense, but what does that mean?? What translation of the bible does he use? Are we following traditions of men or God?? before I received Jesus as my Saviour and Lord, I read 5 different translations of the word. I still did not understand any of them, it was because I was not spiritual minded. upon my salvation I found out that through prayer and asking the Holy Spirit to help me understand the KJV Bible, there was a unlocking of my mind. I know alot of ppl. have problems with the language of the KJV, but Jesus says, Phil. 4:13 that we can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. I will stay with the KJV, the other Bibles can be used as study helps, but for me the KJV will always be my only primary Bible. I know everyone will have different opinions on what BIble they prefer. I have heard and seen some hard metal groups that are so called christian and I can't tell the difference from them and the ones of the world. I don't like either but that is just my opinion. I feel the same way, There is a fine line between good and evil. We are not to imitate the world in all we do and say. The bible says to come out and be separate. 2 Cor. 6:17 - Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. We are to glorify God with holiness. Col. 2: 8 says Beware lest any man rob you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the principles of the world, and not ater Christ. Our music should also be the same, holy and pleasing, glorifying God. I think Hard core music labeled christian rock is a deception. We can reach the young people with music that is honoring Christ in the manner which the Lord would have us to play it. We are new creatures in Christ, we need to die to self daily. YSIC Littlelite

When we receive Jesus as our personal Saviour, we change inside out. Our old self dies. We are to die to self daily. Phil.4:13 says that " I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. We are to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord. The only way to do it is to feed on the word daily. As long as we live in this body of flesh we will sin. The best part of being a born again believer is that we have a Father in heaven that we can pray to, and ask forgiveness of our sins. When you receive Jesus, the Holy Spirit lives inside of us. We need to pray to the Holy Spirit for guidance and direction. Everything that we do in this body after receiving Jesus, we will be held accountable for. The works that we do in this body as a believer we will give account. One day every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Pray and read daily and share the gospel wherever you go. I want to be found on the battlefield reaching out to the Lost when Jesus comes back, don't you? YSIC Littlelite

OK, I believe that the purpose for every christian is to reach out to the lost. We are here to share the Gospel truths and tell this lost and dying world that Jesus is the answer. We need to find out through prayer and reading of God's word daily to find out how He wants to use us in His service. Some are preachers, some are teachers, some in women's ministry, music ministry. We need to seek God's will for our life so that he can use us for whatever His purpose is. We definitely need to let our lights shine for all to see that we serve a risen Saviour who is Christ Jesus, and that he is coming back soon. My gift is the gift of helps. I have to comment on this too. I use the KJV bible too. When I first started reading the bible, I had a NKJV, then I went to the Living Bible, then I went to the NIV, and then I found this paraphrased bible called the Word. All in all I still had confusion on understanding alot of the Bible. Then one day after alot of confusion, and frustration, a child of the Lord told me to start praying to the Holy Spirit for spiritual understanding of God's word. So I did. Also when I gave my Life to Jesus, and received Him as my personal Saviour and I became a new creature in Christ, the rest came. My understanding of His word happened. I tell alot ppl. that feel the same way with different translations of the Bible, which one to use. To me the KJV is the closest translated bible from the original Hebrew and Greek language, I really love it now, and I thank the H.S. for unlocking my mind to understand God' s word using it. I also tell other ppl. they can also use other translations like the NIV, or the NKJV, or AS, etc. as study helps. with the KJV. The power of prayer is the key. YSIC Littlelite

Why is it that when Moses slew the egyptian, God did not require Moses life for his?? The Bible teaches that shedding of man's blood requires yours. Can someone give me an answer on this??
