I agree with christian that it sounds very one sided and I think this guy just may care enough to know to let you go cause he has wrong feelings toward you, that may be what he meant when he said that maybe you will figure out what has been going on. You need to let go and let God take you where HE wants you! God will reconcil things or at least let you have your way but it may not be HIS will for your life. You should be praying that God's wll be done not your will. Believe me that works better than any flesh desire you may have, and I'm not saying sexual desire just desire. You need God more than you need anybody

I agree, about the persecution is going to get worse in this country, we need to stand strong and stay focused on the Lord and know that He is our Strength and our Shelter

I for one depend totally on the faithfulness of our loving Father and His wonderful mercy upon us. We cannot know what is in a man's heart as we do not usually even know what is in our own. Oh but God knows and I really believe that God's mercy endures forever even in those last precious moments when our heart is crying out and God hears us. I would never say that anyone has gone to hell until I reach heaven myself and they are not there. That for me is a safe place and keeps me from judging others, Amen? I also pray for comfort for those that this act has touched, in Jesus' name, Amen

This is not meant to minimalize the problems of anyone who suffers from clinical depression, but to offer help to those of us who struggle from time to time. Thank you rfw All these posts today are so timely. I wonder if the enemy is at work here, more than our problems are? It seems to me that a quite a few of us are struggleing with some kind of depression here. I come against all these intruders in Jesus' name and the Lord have His way in our lives, Amen

I just don't understand why Christianity is considered "religion" as man mad "religion" Christians simply believe in Christ, therefor why is Christianity a religion. If you are a Christian Catholic, I understand that as I know many. But mere Christianity is God reaching out to us and our acceptance. Not man made religions with their man made traditions and icons and idols trying to reach out to God.

Just a little note about tithe: It means tenth. And the other once a year was is offerings under the law we do not live under the law the law has been fulfilled by Jesus, we now live under grace

We as a society have played into this Santa thing for so long that it is "TRADITION" and now we are going to sit back and let them take Christ out of Christmas? I agree with this stuff about Santa it is an intruder of true meaning of Christmas and way to commercialized. We exchange gifts and get all crazy about all the fuss and have pushed Jesus out. I know that "CHRISTIAN" homes have there thing however they do Christmas, but those that are Christians and their family isn't they are standing alone and the true meaning slips by. I am talking about a whole society that has been robbed of the true meaning of our Lord and Saviour's birth. It isn't about gifts, when gifts should be given all year long, it isn't even about getting together to do a party or a dinner we should get together all year long or plan to get together at some point why does EVERYONE do it the same day what are they really celebrating? When I was growing up all it did was start family fights that lasted for YEARS so much for the MERRY MERRY. Oh well I guess I got carried away here. I guess all I am saying is that it is not just a little thing when it comes to what we are doing with CHRISTMAS. It should be only about the birth of our KING

An apostate church is not Christ's, but Christ's enemy, and must be treated as such by Christians, even if that means having no fellowship at all. The principle in both OT and NT is to have nothing to do with false teachers. If OT command was still applicable, many 'pastors' would have to be stoned! (And as many of them are legalistic Judaisers, they could hardly complain if they were!) I did not say they should stay at their apostate churches, just that they should find new ones. The Holy Spirit by far is the best teacher and leader we could ever have How can we be anti-church when WE ARE the CHURCH. You are so bound in your teachings by Luther who caused a great spliting of the church in my viewing, my mother is Lutheran and she is so cold hearted I can't even talk with her, that is what Luther has done

I need to say something here! I was under the teaching of one of the ministers you spoke of for 61/2 years. During this time it was solid good teaching and I thank God for where He sent me! But all of a sudden and I have now been able to see when it happened the teaching became mostly about getting (blessed for giving) money. God for a year was preparing me to leave and for a year I was itching to get off of that pew. I knew He was going to send me somewhere else but in His timing. Well I still didn't see that this "money" doctrine was "wrong" but I did give I believe in the wrong spirit. That is what is wrong with this doctrine. It isn't wrong to give the money but it is wrong not to just give joyfully. Not because I want to get out of debt or I need a new car or house. Like someone said earlier they preach a good word when it is biblically sound but when they get on this money thing it is dangerous ground. Hey that ryhmed Anyway the timing was perfect when I did leave He had ready for me to help start an Open Pantry here close where I live. We have our own morning services on Sunday for the community in which we serve. Oh and guess what, we aren't rich, in fact we do need more donations, but you know what He always does provide in His way. Just like when Jesus walked this earth He always had His provisions met, Amen
