  1. I'm launching my documentary at a few different Churches starting on the 30th. If you would, pray for non-believers to come, be impacted, and come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and also that the places this movie plays, people would encounter God in a deeper way and be fueled with passion and love for Jesus.

1 Corinthians 12:10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues

    tongues

There is a study done where a doctor ran a catscan on people praying in tongues and verified that it doesn't come from the place in our brain we speak out of, you can find it on youtube pretty easily. As far as Raising the dead, praying in tongues etc. There are many people who have experienced that I'm sure there is doctor verified evidence for that I just haven't done the research. I know Reignhard Bonnke, Heidi Baker, and many other ministers have experienced that especially in regards to missions. I do know that Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever
  4. I have practiced footwashing and have been to churches that practice it. One thing to think about is culturally, they wore sandals and walked miles in the dirt. While fit has as major symbolic meaning today, washing feet had a widely different meaning than it does today, it represents the lowest form of serving, something only slaves would do for their masters and Jesus modeled it. In that act, Jesus reveals that we are called to serve each other with the greatest humility and love for one another. When the disciples were focused on who was the greatest, Jesus, being the greatest humbled himself and performed an act that was considered the least.

    tongues

1 cor 14:2 For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. 3 But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. 4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church. 28 But if there is no interpreter, let him keep silent in church, and let him speak to himself and to God
  6. In Scripture you see that the gifts of the Holy Spirit is an example of what is to come. Hebrews 6:5 calls it the powers of the age to come. For example, there is a grace for healing the sick, but when the fullness of the Kingdom is manifest on the earth with Jesus reigning as King, there will be no sickness. There is a grace of discerning of spirits, (ability to discern whats going on in the spiritual realm) but when His Kingdom is here, we will see the angels just as we see people, it will just be our normal sight. The Holy Spirit reveals things to us in part through prophecy and words of knowledge, but at that time we will know each other just as we are known (1 Cor 13:12). That is also why in 1 Cor 13:8 says that these will cease, because when "that which is perfect has come" what is in part will be done away with. These gifts or graces will no longer be partial but in fullness. The gifts demonstrate the Kingdom to come.
  7. This happened at a church in Brazil. This is also my first attempt adding narration to a video.
  8. I love this passage. It shows God's heart and desire. Many people are wanting God to come back and judge this wicked world, but God is wanting none to parish, but all come to know Him.
  9. Hahaha! Come on, Love this video, praise Jesus!
  10. I've been in there a few times. I love how every where you look in there there are scripture to meditate on and flags for all nations for intercession and prayer. There is also always worship music playing in there. The ball in the center is actually a fountain.
  11. According to Bill Johnson and the staff and Bethel, he's never taught, practiced, endorsed, and has even taught against the idea if receiving an anointing from the dead. I have also heard staff at Bethel preach against it and use scripture to show it's unbiblical. He did say he will visit a grave sight to honor past ministers who have done much for the Kingdom and use it as a point of reference to pray for God to do it again.
  12. I'm familiar with strange fire and kundalini warning and I strongly disagree with it. Much of it is either false information and misunderstanding. There has been no good fruit to come from it. It's fear driven and causes division, offense, accusation, judgement, anger, demonizing people and cutting off a valuable part of the body of Christ. You have not been given a spirit of fear, but of Power, Love, and a Sound Mind. Anyone who puts faith in the name of Jesus and believes that God raised him from the dead, turns from their old lifestyle and lives for Him is saved. We are to test the spirits, by the fruit they produce and by the name that they claim as Lord. That means, like it or not Bill Johnson is your brother in Christ. That means i also am your brother in Christ, even though I am a part of this charismatic movement. I believe in Jesus, I live for Him, I have turned from sin to serve the living God. I can see the fruit because I am around the fruit of it. Am I saved? What does it take to be saved? Do we have to believe in your interpretation of the bible to be saved or is it Christ alone that saves? If I am saved, is bearing false witness and sowing discord among brethren ok? Much of those videos are bearing false witness and sowing discord among brethren. Proverbs 6:16 These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: 17 A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, 18 A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, 19 A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren. But once again, can you listen to the short video in the opening post and let me know, from the video, not from warning links, is there is anything he says that is true or edifying or is it all from the pit of hell?
  13. Can you listen to the 2-3 min video in the OP and let me know what you think? Not your opinion about the person speaking, but the content he's speaking about. Is there something that might edify believers in the video or is it just unbiblical?
  14. The big font wasn't a tactic, I posted a scripture and it messed up the rest of the format and I couldn't get it to change back. I know many of them are changed because some of them go to my Church and are passionate lovers of Jesus. SO what makes a born again believer? How do do you define saved? Also, can you find a direct scripture against laughter or the manifestation you described?
  15. I've been to Seattle a few times, it's really similar. God is on the move in the NW though. I thought you'd appreciate this picture being from Portland. My wife lead someone to the Lord and our team ministered to him. He wanted to get completely clean off drugs and get away from the lifestyle he was living so we baptized him in Skidmore fountain and got him connected to a Christian rehab.
  16. I am friends with many people from Bethel and I love and appreciate all that God is doing through them. I have met so many people who became believers in Jesus because they went to Bethel Church and had a real encounter with Jesus there. If the devil is behind it, he’s become a powerful evangelist leading multitudes to Jesus. With Impartation (Transfer of anointing) is a biblical concept, and there are many of examples through out scripture in the old and new testament. One clear passage is here, Timothy received a gift through the laying on of hands of the leadership. 1 Timothy 4:14 14 Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. As far as people falling on the ground, twitching, crying, laughing, etc. I have seen that happen many times. I was in Brazil this last summer and God's presence showed up simular. A whole class fell to the ground some laughting, some crying, some twitching. One guy fell to the ground and started grabbing his stomach screaming in pain. He was manifesting a demon and then right after I commanded it out, he threw up and got delivered. Afterword he had no more stomach pain and was in his right mind. I've seen God do things like this many times. One of the biggest evidences for me that this is from the Holy Spirit is seeing the lives changed after they’ve been touched like this. I have seen people instantly set free from addiction. I’ve seen people be luke warm and then be filled with such a passion for Jesus they change their whole lives. One girl in Brazil got overwhelmed by God’s love and she was on the floor for hours. Now, she changed her profession, instead of pursuing medical, she is going to bible college and wants to preach the Gospel of Jesus. We are supposed to judge by the fruit. The ones in the bible that judged by the appearance said, “they are just full of new wine!” when the promise of the Holy Spirit was released. They also judged Jesus by saying, he does his works through demons. An apple tree produces apples. A thorn bush does not produce apples. What is the fruit? Love for Jesus check, Passion to spread His Gospel, check. Love for people, check, joy, check. Peace? Check. Patience? Check. Kindness? Check. The devil cannot produce the fruit of the Spirit.
  17. Reiki is a new age healing method which is based on manipulating energy through meditation and visualization. It's roots are in an anti-Christian world view and it can open a door for demons. Part of the world view is that good and evil are an illusion, there is no right or wrong, making it harder to convey the Gospel without them encountering the power of it. Many new agers are into things like Reiki, Yoga, and meditation to have spiritual experiences but are completely unaware that they are opening themselves up to demons.
  18. In this interview, Dr. Brown interviews Bill Johnson and gives him a chance to address questions and criticisms against him and Bethel Church such as grave sucking, addressing sin, and more.
  19. Shiloh, You should pay attention to what Bill Johnson actually says and does instead of through the lens of heresy hunter videos. According to Bill, he doesn't allow that teaching to be taught and when Bethel was accused of it, he thought it was ridiculous and makes it clear, that he "does not endorse or teach grave sucking". Now, I understand that you are set on cessationism and don't believe in healing the sick, prophetic ministry, etc. But you do know the bible and know bearing false witness against someone, even in the name of good is wrong and God opposes it.
  20. There is an interview Michael Brown did with Bill Johnson and he asked him about that and many other concerns. The grave sucking thing is not something Bill believes in or has ever been taught at Bethel. When we hold accusations against someone, especially ones that are based on lies and misunderstandings, we are acting like the devil, who is the accuser of brethren. Did you watch the video I posted, or are you so offended at the sight of Bill that you refuse to give it a chance?
