Hello ,Worthy i dont think he was talking about people who dont truly accept Christ.just the people that do accept him.it was more of a point about the Holy Spirit.

Hello,christiang,im back for a little bit...where is this point of perfection you speak of?do you mean as soon as a person gets saved? btw ,just so you know i dont think people can sin all they want just because they are saved by Jesus...like its a free pass to sin...no Heb 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. Heb 12:7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? Heb 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. well i guess they could but im sure they would have a very hard time..God is Just..if you believe you are not sinning i think thats great and i hope your not.But i myself believe some people if not all make mistakes...or shall i say could make mistakes and should repent if they do A.S.A.P

i always looked at this verse Mat 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. as saying you will know them by there fruits(Goodness of God in them) it doesnt say you will know them by if they ever make a mistake by sinning.

Hello,you shouldnt be thinking this way...but i understand things get hard to understand...but,the good news is its all in the Word(Bible)i dont know how much you read or listen to the Bible but if you dont listen to it that much,then i would check it out more.I say this because the power of the Spirit(God) is powerful... Have you gave you life to Jesus?just ask that to make sure...if not here are 2 simple verses that show you how...you can Pray by your self and do it anytime.. Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. If you do Pray and get saved keep reading your Bible diligently. If your already saved i Would get back into the Word more. I just ask that to see if maybe he has back slidden...If thats the case i would suggest for him to repent and seek the Word more. I wondered if i had committed the unforgivable sin years ago because i was saved and still went back to sin...and deeper then before i got saved(it seemed like it to me) ...My sin was to the Point of allday long for years...But oneday it all just caught up to me in my Soul....So i knew somehow i needed to get back to God and get my soul back together...it wasnt always easy on my way back to peace but slowly but surly it started coming.And actually this site has been a big part of my Climb back up....I know some will say you cant get saved and then go back to big time sin.but in my case that happened.Some will say i wasnst saved in the first place then....but i have to disagree...the Holy Spirit hit me like a ton on bricks when i got saved...it was great....but somehow i got back into big time sin...i know now that sin is just a trick by Satan...But i just didnt know enough back when i first got saved and fell back in the "tricks"...So if your anything like i was,welcome back and start to learn more of the Word it's amazing.Being the bad guy was kinda to easy for me,never knowing my mother or father...I love being the good guy now .it seems more challenging,but i see that the Word will show anyone how to do it.GB

Hello.im no pro on this...but i have mostly thought that lite drink or wine(not to much),is ok because of this verse...Pro 20:1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

interesting..i might know that guy...if its the same guy i know...he used to stand right there at mountain industrail and 85 for years...he had same story you posted....only thing different was this guy lost his leg same way but longer than 5 years ago...he was white guy ,kinda tall...the guy i know did use drugs and he was one of the best at pan handling...,but i dont know if he still does... but was still a decent guy in my opinion...i gave him a ride a few times.nice post...i was homeless for years but i was to hard headed or to much pride to ask for money...but one day i did...i remmeber like it was yesterday...:)...this was back when they had pay phones...i went up to some guy and was like...do you have like 2 bucks so i can get some food?...i said im sorry for even asking im just hungry...with 2 dollars i can get some bologna and a loaf bread(i think i told him that)i remmeber he gave it to me...but didnt seem to happy about it though...but it might have been some of his last money for all i know...if i ever have trouble again im going to the Church...(i did go there one time before and they feed me on the spot). And yes you have drug addicts that pan handle a lot too...I would rather not say why i know so much about this but they are good at it...They will give a fake story for money with no shame...but like you said...you can't just put all people going through hard times in one basket...because i know from my life that sometimes people just go through hard times....and not from drugs or drinking,ect...

its not to hard to talk about...i just have learned from talking about it before, that most people ...whats the best word....despise/hate you when they find this out...im not all the way sure why....but im thinking its because most people always want to feel like they had or are having the hardest time...thanks for the advice...im 42 now but i think the big picture(God)is finnally coming clear...and i would say the same to you...Seek him diligently,reading or listening to Scripture when and if you can...

i think God might still test someone like that...i mean not saying i have went through what Job went through...but strange things have happened in my life,like never knowing my mom or dad for one...ill stop there(even though there is much more:)...didnt want to really post this ...i just thought it would be a good example...i have learned in my life not to bring that up...lol...it makes most despise(hate) you most of the time...

its all about worshipping Jesus and God has no problem with that...my bible even says ....Joh 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. any time there is a big celebration of the Lord...count me in...cant go wrong Worshipping the Lord:)

I look at Christmas as a day to celebrate the birth of Jesus...I like it myself...Weather or not it was the day of birth or not...God looks at the Heart and God knows i see it as a special day to celebrate Jesus's birth.

can you give me am example of what circumstance ,where someone asks you to Pray that you could believe God doesnt want them healed? just wondering because on another thread you said" . Its in there to show all that Gods will is for all to be healed. "
