A very good question. One I often wonder about myself. God forgives us and casts it into the sea, never to be remembered again. I think we as flesh and blood have a hard time doing that. We need to make a choice to forgive (as our Savior does for us) and then if it comes to mind again, make a consious choice to forgive until it no longer comes to mind. Very hard to do, but the only person hurting from unforgiveness is ourself. zaidenmom

Oh goodness. I thought I was reading my memoirs. My husband and I are at that same point. My faith, joy, and strength is constantly bombarded because of my feelings towards my husband. We must always lift them up in prayer. YIKES, that is really hard to do sometimes. Most of the time. What blessings will come when JESUS changes their hearts!!! IMO it is wrong to date until the divorce is final. You never know what GOD can do in our lives if we soften our heart and give it all to HIM. zaidenmom

GOD still does miracles!!! Glory!!! Big miracles and little ones (if you can call a miracle little). I see miracles everyday in the earth having been formed and nature in general, it is all GOD's creation/miracle. zaidenmom

I just wanted to say Glory to GOD for this discussion. I read alot of posts and don't post anything because of the back and forth heated discussions. I read every single one of these posts and as a body of believers, you can see the change of hearts and sorrow for having done these things. It also humbled me, thinking about a comment or two that I had made. I love it here at Worthy and I am blessed by alot of comments and discussions. GOD bless you all and I love you. zaidenmom

I agree. It is hard to go so deeply into such things because we were taught to keep things private. I always long to ask questions or hear that someone has or does feel the way I do. we need to listen, teach and encourage. good post! zaidenmom

Oh my goodness...did you read the book based on the song? Waaaaaaah!! That song make me cry uncontrollably. It is beautiful. I like any Christmas song sung by Bing Crosby (especially White Christmas) and Count Your Blessings sung by RoseMarie Clooney. My mom loves the old musicals, especially Christmas musicals and I adore Bing Crosby's singing. I am an old fashion soul in a 36 year old body. lol. zaidenmom

Hmmmmm ... The Bible is the Word of God ..... Psychology is the study by man. Which to believe? good point!! I told my husband that if our son needs it then he will get a spanking. we as humans are quick to get frustrated so I want to make sure that I am not angry when I spank him. my husband has rage issues so we made the decision not to spank so that our son would not deal with the same types of issues, however, I do believe that if you spare the rod you spoil the child, and I do not want my son spoiled like that. the BIBLE does not say abuse your child it talks about discipline (not the same thing). zaidenmom

I have a two year old and my husband and I have decided not to spank. Although at this point it is starting to become a consideration. I was spanked as a child when I was really disobedient. I didn't fear my parents but I knew that if I did something wrong, and knew better, that I was in for it!!! I don't want my child to think it is ok to be violent so we made the decision to not spank. I do think spanking has it's place and you will most likely need to spank at some point when the child just keeps on being rebellious or does harm to someone else (or something else) intentianally. forgive my misspellings. Discipline in love (not anger) is what we want to accomplish and I pray that GOD guides our way in our efforts to raise a christian young man. good poll. zaidenmom

I guess every opinion has been represented here. I know in my PERSONAL experience, I have a hard time during the week if I do not go to church and recharge (so to speak). It is the hearing of the WORD and the fellowship that helps keep me close. On my knees daily before OUR FATHER is certainly part of what I should do but going to church and hearing the WORD of GOD and singing HIS praises, along with those things help to keep me close to JESUS and understand HIS will for my life. I love going to church. zaidenmom

None of them. Are you without sin? No you are not. Do you go to heaven? Yes you do. Why? Because you fall under the Grace of Jesus Christ. Do these hypothetical tribesmen fall under the Grace of Christ? No. Have they had the oppurtunity to fall under that Grace? No they haven't. So do they go to hell? I certainly hope not. That would make me a bit suspicious of God's mercy (and logic). There, I just saved us from having a long conversation by stating the entire thing in one post. Are you saying that God is unjust if He choose to send sinners to hell? Is this not His sovereign right? Is not grace and forgiveness His to give? Who makes the choice of the circumstances of where these hypothetical tribesmen were born? JB Rom 9:14 What should we say then? Is there injustice with God? Absolutely not! 15 For He tells Moses: I will show mercy to whom I show mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion. 16 So then it does not depend on human will or effort, but on God who shows mercy. good point!!! how can they do anything so cruel and unloving under the veil of a church? they need to get saved!!! our brave soldiers are dead because they are protecting ONE NATION UNDER GOD. zaidenmom

my husband has enjoyed this program in the past but now he is turned off by the profanity he uses while claiming to be a christian. my husband is not following GOD right now but he still couldn't take the hypocricy. about time he was exposed!!! zaidenmom
