  1. A thick skin is what is needed for most in forums and I nor anyone said anything about your heart, there is a difference. Agreeing to disagree is often needed in some discussion, yes it is true that YHWH, His Spirit nor Messiah will ever send a different message than one written it is us that have it wrong not Him. You may believe in your heart what you are saying is absolutely true and so does the person your talking to, does that make one of you right and the other wrong and how do you decided if both are quoting the same scriptures just applying different meanings? Comparing your theology and others theology to Messiahs is a huge stretch, He is the truth, He is YHWH, He is the Creator of all, we are created beings that have so little understanding of Him yet we set here saying we are all led to the truth yet each truth is different than the others. More times than not we are revealed something to help us better understand Him and what He wants from us, seldom I believe, does He reveal something so we can go and tell others our truth trumps their truth. But I would like to go back to what you wrote before: Without laws, guidelines there is no order, the angels we understand have instructions/laws, Adam and Eve are given instructions, Noah followed Gods instructions, Moses and David, we read Abraham obeyed Gods commands, statues and judgments and because they followed the Word of God, walking in faith and within His instructions they were and are accounted righteous. God calls His laws righteous and good, David delighted in them, so many throughout bible history saw that walking in His Torah produces blessings and outside of walking in His Torah we walk in darkness under the law, under its curses and condemnation. When God came down upon the mt. to talk to the Israelites He spoke and called out an assembly who when in obedience were blessed with His guidenace, fruitfullness and when they didn't they were under the curses, the followed idolatry, lawlessness. So yes the laws were created to show the barrior between righteousness and lawlessness/sinfulness. When we belong to Him we are to walk in the Spirit of the law, we are having His righteous ways written on our heart but the laws never disappear, we will always be in need of laws we just do not need to walk in them with a legal mindset. Yes we are His when we accept Him but we never stop learning, we never even stop sinning not in these bodies but our sins become, hopefully! easier to see, catch and stop with the aid of His Spirit. When we are walking within His instruction the fruit of the Spirit should come forth because its only when we walk in His ways can we even come close to producing fruit. To say that we will no longer need His laws is saying we no longer need His Spirit or Yeshua, its a package deal, when we accept Him we accept His rule over our hearts and lives. Which I suspect is what the newer covenant is all about, Judah and Israel and their companions are having Torah written on their hearts, not having the Spirit come in take over and left to lead you like a robot but guided within the boundries of Gods ways, to allow us to walk closely with Him as we mature in His word. There is nothing satanic, satan inspired or driven about the laws, commandments, instructions that God gave mankind to live by. shalom, Mizz
  2. They have natural gas and oil now they have to get it up and refined I believe. Once that happens they will be ripe for someone to want to come along and take it away from them, I can think of a few that could do that.
  3. I really appreciate all you have written yet its really hard for me and others to read such long posts! Have you ever heard of a guy name Scot Dryer? google him and check out his stuff he really digs into the ac stuff and actually has Assad Bashir of Syria as the ac, he gives a pretty compelling argument for it also, check out this link just scroll down to Scot Dryer dated 2-28-11 its two hours but good. Whoever it comes to be I do believe he is coming out of Syria or in the regions that used to be Syria, after all we are told its the Assyrian that God calls to fulfill His plan. shalom, Mizz
  4. Brother, Honestly, they associate the sounds you make with their likes and dislikes. They really don't understand you. My wife makes this littl whisper whistling kinda sound and my cat comes running. The cat doesn't come when you call it's name. it never has. It doesn't understand English. However, it knows that sound my wife makes means a good petting, stroking, and cat treats. It's responding to positive affection. In the same way my dog knows when the leash comes out it's time to walk. He loves to explore and he gets very excited when someone goes to the closet to get his leash and say' "You wanna go for a walk boy?" He doesn't understand the word walk nor does he understand bath which sends him scurrying. We could have switched the words in the beginning and he would respond to the jiggling of his leash as a bath had we named it such. He associates actions with certain reactions. He doesn't understand us. Peace, Dave Now I beg to differ! My dog hears the word 'walk' in any conversation he, even in a sound sleep, will get up and start pacing from my shoes to the back door! And if someone says 'bath' all we catch is the back end of him as he is going out the doggie door! And if someone is holding something that even smells like his shampoo he is running as far into the backyard he can get. It is true that dogs know routines and things that signal things they love or hate and it is true dogs do get to know sounds of words and attach meaning to them, say yum yum or food and most dogs ears go up and tails usually wag. We can say the same about babies we can attach words to objects, bottle for milk and thats what they will come to know the object by until they are old enough to see thats not the right names. We all learn to hear through phonetically even animals humans are just able to put them into vocalizations and animals can not yet they have the same inner workings as we do, kinda strange maybe they did talk in the beginning?
  5. My thinking is that woman are not the 'head' of the church but that they can teach also, just wouldn't be comfortable with a woman as the head of the congregation. Where I go we have woman talk each week, a 20 minute take on the Torah portion or pertaining to it then the pastor does his thing. I have learned much from both and if we are learning His word and whatever a man or woman teaches comes from scripture I just don't see a problem with woman having a role in teaching. shalom, Mizz
  6. It is very true that the arab/islamic world is fractured but its on the mend it seems and once a few of the old guard have been taken out and countries restructured that may be something that could happen at least over the course of a few years. Under the ottoman empire islam was united, of course theres always factions, dissenters in every bunch yet if islam is the end of the age beast it won't take the advesary long to reunite them all under one leader, a global wide caliphate is what they are after from what it all looks like. Unity is not mans strong suit unless theres a common cause we know Israel and the west is a common cause, islam so thinks that if Israel is gone all problems dissolve we know thats not true yet the common person struggling to live in any of those islamic countries hear that Israel and the west are evil and the core of all their problems. There does seem to be more calamity, terrible times ahead for Israel and all who love YHWH and Yeshua our Messiah. I love the attitude, the heart felt attitude of the Jewish nation! that every single day is precious and is lived to the fullest! a attitude that needs to be contagious within all our hearts! shalom, Mizz
  7. It isn't? Please share what the Old Covenant is. My understanding is that the Old Covenant, Ha Torah, is Exodus 20 - Deuteronomy 34. Torah means "Instruction" The Torah is the instruction book that accompanied the Covenant, but is not the Covenant itself. This is not quite accurate... Strong's Hebrew #8451 ...clean. 54This is the law for all manner of ... 8451 towrah { to-raw
  8. What laws would the Spirit be writing on your heart but the laws of God? You say you believe there is a Spriit that comes from God, well thats exactly what the scriptures tell us don't they that when Messiah went and sat at the right hand of the Father God sent us His Spirit to help us walk in His righteous ways, not new laws or new ways but the ways already set forth in scripture. When we let Him guide us by His will it is His ways we learn in, if we are walking in His commandments we produce the fruits of the Spirit because His Torah or instructions are what lead us into knowing how to love, how to love Him, how to love our fellow man. You cannot have laws and then no laws one is either lawful or lawless so if you believe His Spirit is leading you into His commandments how do they just go away? The biblical idea of adoption is the idea of an apprentice learning a new trade, spends years learning the trade, knowing the rule of trade who then finally goes out on his own yet fails to keep up with the trade he then needs a refresher course and goes back to the master to do that. We can never be completely faithful in any of Gods laws so we need them in our hearts constantly so we can continue to walk in the ways our Master wants us to. What is seen in the garden is that living by His word produces good fruit and living by another word or seed produces bad fruit, the whole bible is based on the family, a piece of land and a home, God structures all His instruction in argricultural settings, the wheat and tares, parables of land owners, we see the same in the OT. After Yeshua went to become our High Priest in the heavenlies the apostles seeded congregations and then sent letters out mostly in corrections of what was going wrong, they are meant as reminders also that Messiah did not come to change, abolish but to fulfill all things for us to show us how to walk with Him He is the perfect embodiement of the Torah. Why would you even think of people hating you let alone me? Just because we have a different views does not constitute hate nor even dislike! We are discussing nothing more, I don't hate anyone, not you, not anyone. If you are really worried about being hated you might want to develop a thicker skin for discussion boards. And in some ways no matter how hard we try we all mess up, many of us have many different views, I love Gods Torah and see that we are to keep His Feasts for all generations most here do not see that but we all agree to disagree and none of us hate each other because we hold different views on that. shalom, Mizz
  9. Aah the joys of preterism. Keep what you want, throw the rest out. Christ was indeed victorious at His death and resurrection, but He has not taken possession of His Kingdom yet. And He will not until the end of the tribulation and His second coming. I can't understand how preterists can believe their own tripe which plays havoc with prophecy and renders it moot. Nero was not the Antichrist. Jerusalem was not Revelation's false prophet. You can repeat this junk a thousand times and it still won't be true. Jesus tells us that that time will be the worst in recorded history, and the Roman seige of Jerusalem doesn't come close. Small wars later on were worse, not to even mention WWI and WWII. Trying to make Nero fit the future, and as yet unfullfilled prophecies in Daniel and Revelation is ludicrous and utter folly. And until you get a good handle on real eschatology, you are always going to be stumbling around in the dark. You're right. Nero was not the antichrist. Gnosticism didn't come along until later. Nero believed he was God in the flesh; a Gnostic would never believe that. Jerusalem was not the False Prophet and I never said it was. The Sanhedrin was the False Prophet, the chief priests and elders. Your problem friend, is that you misrepresent my position. I have never tried to make Nero fit the future. Nero is right where he belongs in history. Rome is the Fourth Beast, and Nero personified Rome. He was 666. The timeline you follow is flawed and that is why nothing fits, but you (and others like you) will believe whatever you like, so be my guest. I am past caring. I don't stumble around in the dark. I know what history and Scripture teach. As for who DOES stumble around in the dark, well, I refuse to rise to that bait. How can Rome be the fourth beast? In Johns vision the angel tells him five (5) have fallen, one is (rome number 6) then another would come (number 7) be there for a short time then an eighth would come mirror the seventh and the last will be of the seven before him. History does repeat itself and there are dual natures to most prophecies. Mizz, you're mixing John's words up. There are only 4 nation beasts. (Babylon, Media-Persia, Greece and the fourth one whom theologians know is Rome.) The Scripture to which you refer is this one: Rev 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, [and] the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. Nero is the person being referred to after the five ('and one is'). Who came after Nero? Galba. But Galba only continued for less than a year. He was assassinated. The next emperor was Vespasian, and his son Titus just happened to be the general who led the Roman armies against Jerusalem. Boderline descripes what your debating and heres another way to look at it also. Satan is the 'head' or the one holding the reigns and he appoints the next 'beast' to terrorize and control the money, power, etc so we have at John's time five heads of the beast that have fallen, one is which is rome then you have two more coming after rome one rises and stays for a short while then the last the eight rises that mirrors the seventh and has the charactor traits of the first ones. The only 'people' holding Jersusalem now is Israel and islam despite what we might think America has just about lost sway over anything Israel does or doesn't do they see the handwriting on the wall and know its not long before they are utterly left alone to deal with islam. ITs my understanding that you believe all has happened and we are just awaiting one final fight and the Messiah will come, I do not hold to any preterist point of view. shalom, Mizz
  10. No he wasn't on so the show down between obama and the republican shut down of the govt. could be debated! lol
  11. Hi John.....Torah leads to Messiah. Those who are still under the Law have not obeyed the Law, because if they understood the Law they would find themselves in the same position as Paul. The Law is still in place, it is holy, righteous and true, and even now if a person under the Law truly understands the Law, it will still lead them to Messiah....and thus into a newer Covenant that doesn't abolish the former but is the natural extension of it...no longer under a heavy yoke with strict unwavering penalties, but now yoked to Jesus....no longer is the Torah of G-d on the outside written on tablets of stone, but is now on the inside written on our hearts... A-M-E-N! I agree Torah Moshe was given to point the way to Moshiakh (Messiah). But it is apparently not the same Torah being talked about by Rav Shaul (Paul) in the passage I quote, nor in: Jeremiah 31:31-34 (KJV) 31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. The 'changes' to the covenant is the priesthood, Yeshua took that upon Himself. The priesthood of men in our fallen state proved corrupt, political, adding and mixing, one that changed hands when one died, etc. Its my belief that the covenants build upon one another and never are done away with, theres no new laws, no new commandments but a better way to walk in them, a better High Priest, a better intercessor, and the Spirit to help us grow and mature in His instructions. Torah means instructions and I believe all of Yahweh's words are instructions, all words written not just the first 5 books of the bible as most see them. No matter how we view what the covenant is, debate this or that, YHWH and His Messiah stated that the covenant it with only Israel and Judah with those who have been grafted into them, His covenants envelope all who call upon His name and confess it to the world. shalom, Mizz
  12. Love him or hate him his tv show helped wake up millions of Americans to the destruction of this country, he has informed the couch potatoes how far down in ruins this country has gone and shown just how conspiracies work behind the scenes and bring themselves out in the open. I never cared at all he was a mormon never worried that I was going to be led astray by his reminders of religion, only read one of his books, have another but opened it but never read it good thing it wasn't my money! lol yep never was a groupie that hung on his words as so many think Beck's watchers are and I will miss his show it was my afternoon comic relief and occasionally he would put something out that I didn't know and got me to look at things from a different angle. Don't think he is going to far away though.
  13. My husband can relate, being the owner of few business himself he has had to face some hard decisions and facts about people but not once has he given up trusting people. In the businesses he's had he has benn frauded not just in business but personally also by people he trusted one was a long time friend and brother in law, now former bro in law! In the end its always on the head of the person in charge and if you find you cannot trust those under you to do what is right that does leave you with the choice to give another chance giving an ulitmatium or fire those who created the problems. The only person we can control is ourselves and its just so hard when we live by our word and expect others to do so too, its terribly disheartening and disappointing when others do not. I's so sorry that you are in the postition your in and pray that God sends His shalom into your heart and helps you understand what you need to do next. shalom, Mizz
  14. Sorry if thats not what your saying, you and childeye seem to have the same type of theology. There have always been laws first set upon the world to work in order for man to live here, God gave Adam and Eve laws, tend the garden, don't eat of the tree. The time between Adam leaving the garden and the flood there were laws from godly men, Abraham knew to tithe to the King of Salem so God must have talked to him often. God has always set a standard for His children and when He called a congregation, a nation out of Himself by which to show the gentile pagan world His power and glory He gave them laws that would set them apart and teach them how to live among themselves and the world. Same standards God calls upon us today. The whole of the OT is not about satans influence as it is mans unablity to govern and rule himself. Satan doesn't take a more prominate role in the NT, and I politely disagree with this statement of yours, "So I say much of the writings are based on the influence Satan has on us", you take out mans responsiblity and give too much credit to satan. Yes he has influence on this world, he and his fallen bunch but does not make anyone do anything so the responsiblity is on us and not satan. The Tanakh was written at the instruction of God, it is Gods words to man through prophets how to live, what pleases God, and God even graciously outlined the end of the age in the beginning of the book for us. How are the prophets writings base on satanic influence? You asked, "Without Satan how will we know how not to act?" God sets up His standards in the beginning, listen to my voice obey Me and He blesses us abundantly. Adam knew how to act without satans influence because he listen to the word of God, so can we. Satan does not have influence over those who have Gods light yet we keep one foot in the world and one foot in His and when it comes to judgment day is satan going to be standing next to you and everyone else accepting half the blame and punishment for us, I don't think it works that way. God calls mans hearts the most wicked above all things, not satan and through the righteous rules of God, through His instructions and His Spirit we can overcome all things even the influence of satan. I am not totally helpless at all unless I choose to leave Gods light with Yeshua all things are possible. God defines righteousness, the fruits of the Spirit are all things that come through His Torah or instructions, His ways teach us to love, to walk with others, His instructions help us to fight satans influence. So we see things differently and thats ok also none of have the whole truth of anything except that God loves us and wants us to come to Him in all things, that Yeshua died and was resurrected and now is our High Priest and He will return, we can be assured that God will keep all His promises to all of His children who heed and follow His voice. shalom, Mizz
  15. Matthew 21:33-40, Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country: 34And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. 35And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another. 36Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. 37But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son. 38But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. 39And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. 40When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? How does this show satan getting powers through the law?
  16. Well, how do you explain how the bobcat could look so at peace? Hmm maybe because he is a bobcat and thinks his directions were the best? He looks like he is looking around to see if the dangers passed maybe thinking how the heck do I get down from here?
  17. My brother in law lives in Yuma has hiked almost every square inch of the state now and has a few pics of cats perched in some strange places which as he puts it is the best indicator one needs to start walking the other way! lol Thick hair and skin I bet would protect them but still those needles can hurt something fierce!
  18. What a prickly situation for them both.
  19. Yes!! lol thanks! Isa. does sound a lot like the world today. Mizz
  20. God is He allowed man to try and rule himself, God gave rule over the earth to satan but satan must stick within God's existing plans. I think Job 12 fits a lot these days, 9 Who among all these does not know That the hand of the Lord has done this, 10 In whose hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind? 11 Does not the ear test words And the mouth taste its food? 12 Wisdom is with aged men, And with length of days, understanding. 13 "With Him are wisdom and strength, He has counsel and understanding. 14 If He breaks a thing down, it cannot be rebuilt; If He imprisons a man, there can be no release. 15 If He withholds the waters, they dry up; If He sends them out, they overwhelm the earth. 16 With Him are strength and prudence. The deceived and the deceiver are His. 17 He leads counselors away plundered, And makes fools of the judges. 18 He loosens the bonds of kings, And binds their waist with a belt. 19 He leads princes away plundered, And overthrows the mighty. 20 He deprives the trusted ones of speech, And takes away the discernment of the elders. 21 He pours contempt on princes, And disarms the mighty. 22 He uncovers deep things out of darkness, And brings the shadow of death to light. 23 He makes nations great, and destroys them; He enlarges nations, and guides them. 24 He takes away the understanding of the chiefs of the people of the earth, And makes them wander in a pathless wilderness. 25 They grope in the dark without light, And He makes them stagger like a drunken man. And there is scripture, can't find it off hand but it says that the leaders in the end of the age will act like children and that seems to be the attitude of our leaders of the day. We do not know the exact date and exact times He will return but we do know the when, staying with whats already been revealed and the fulfillng of the spring feasts we can pretty much be certain He will come and fulfill the fall feasts. shalom, Mizz
  21. Can you tell me how satans power came through the law? Luicfer was created before man and it was in him that iniquity was found, he separated himself from Gods light in order to please his flesh, the law tells us what sins are and because we are given the definitions of sin we can avoid, run, fight, and choose not to sin by allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us into the fruits of the Spirit. You give satan too much power and credit my friend he is just an instrument we have freewill to choose who our master will be, choose God and eternal life in the light of His Word or darkness and death. Man has not changed one bit we want it all fleshly desires and godly light its a choice on what path you want to be walking because there is only one. Where were Gods laws that Moses wrote when Cain killed his brother, or when man refused to believe God and Noah I would imagine they knew Gods laws after all Noah did bring in the clean and unclean animals, Abraham is accredited to keeping laws, statues of God so there have always been rules to follow. I think you have a skewed idea of the OT and of scriptures also, we are to read the word of God, we are to hear the word of God thats how it works, that whole thing about studying to show yourself approved doesn't mean sitting around allowing our hearts to rule our days without the written word, prayer, study etc. shalom, Mizz
  22. Where the idea of the OT is satanic comes from it certainly didn't come from God. The entire OT is there to teach us how God wants us to act, act like someone He can call His child. We take the first books and show that man is not capable of ruling himself and how God set up guidelines, rules, commandments so we could walk in His grace. The NT are letters written to various people and congregations either chastising them for not behaving as they should as well as addressing many other issues. There is nothing new in the new testament that was not in the old or promised in the OT. Luicfer was there before man he is the one that God allowed to test man, which He knew would fail so God being the all loving, all encompassing Adonia who covers His people with His grace always layed it all out, God said if you do these things I will be your God and the books are showing how man sometimes walked in His ways and was blessed greatly or failed miserably and that caused God to scatter them to the nations. The whole bible tells of the fall of man and the redemption of man, if we did not have the OT the NT wouldn't make much sense, for instance James is written to the 12 tribes abroad, to the dispersed tribes, would people understand that God is restoring Israel by just reading the NT? Would anyone know when the signs and things to look for His return if not for the OT? After all God tells us specifically that He reveals the end in the beginning so how can the OT be satanically influenced if God set godly men to write His instruction and as we are told all scripture is given to us for our benefit and the apostles were talking not about the NT but the OT since the NT was not written or compiled. Certainly satan has an influence on all generations if a person is not walking in God's light, no more so than today there is much more influence of satan today than when our ancestors were walking the earth. Your statement that the OT outlines what life was like without Messiah is kinda weird, they knew God, they had living breathing prophets who heard Gods voice, they knew there was a Messiah coming and anxiously awaited His arrival. If your statement is true then we are also living in OT times because we do not have a Messiah sitting on an earthly throne, we do not 'see' Him face to face, we are in the same position as the OT believers, waiting for our Messiah to come and bring us into His Kingdom. shalom, Mizz
  23. I'm am grateful every day I am able to wake up and walk, I feel joy in my heart daily despite the news simply because I have eyes to see and hears to hear, that I am able to pick up my bible and read God's word. I am thankful that I am able to come and discuss, and yes sometimes even disagree, God's word with so many people every single day!
  24. The new Egyptian foreign minister is no better he feels Israel hasn't 'The foreign minister stressed that the Egyptian government continues to play an important role in the Middle East peace process and said that
  25. A bit player? I'm sorry MG but thats kinda funny, when she writes a book that gets turned into the UN playbook she is not a bit player, and even if she was just cog in the system she is an important one all cogs, wheels etc work together. The US under obama certainly would go into Israel if those palestinians were being threatened and as we know the world perceives Israel as occupying palestinian land. If another war like the one between Gaza and Israel where hamas puts civilians in the way the UN certainly according to this Libyan plan could and will go into Israel pushing it back to undefensible postitions. The world believes Israel and the US are the problems especially Israel most think if that little problem it taken care of those muslims will just quietly go back to their daily lives and bring stability to the region, that just aint going to happen.
