  1. Good things began to happen to David almost immediately because he started looking at his world through eyes of blessing rather than eyes of failure. Even as he overcame the lion and the bear, he knew he could overcome giants. And just as he took authority and overcame everything that threatened his ascent to the throne, you must take authority and overcome everything that threatens your ascent into your DESTINY. God changed the way Abraham talked so that he called forth what God saw him as already blessed with (Gen. 17:5). Despite the pain, call forth your healing. Change the way you talk. See the way God meant it to be, and start calling forth your healing and wholeness! "God gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did." - Romans 4:17 Regardless of what kind of prison you are in or what problem threatens to defeat you, if you want God to come into your cell, you must resist the temptation to grumble, murmur, and complain. You have to make the decision to praise Him instead. "And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them." - Acts 16:25 AFFIRMATIONS: I see myself with victory. I visualize where God wants me to be. Then, I act as if I am already there. My speech demonstrates the power of God's Spirit in my life. Whenever someone tells me that God is not going to deliver me, I just tell them "He's already delivered me in the name of Jesus." Hebrews 12:1 - "Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us," The race is not one as we normally think. The Strong's definition includes contention, battle, conflict. There is a contending for the earth and the Kingdom that is now. We often wonder in the natural, "How?" We think of a race and it causes us in the natural to feel "hurry" but this is not God's way. Jesus was never in a hurry; never did He worry. Our race is contending for the Kingdom with accuracy and right timing. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  2. God is here with his divine purpose to change our weakness into mighty strength and faith. The Word of God! Have you got it? It is marrow to your bones. It is unction. It is resurrection from every weakness. It is life from the dead. "See that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be not unwise, but understand what the will of God is." - Ephesians 5:15-17 You know there are things you are doing now that are temporary. You are doing them only until you find the thing God wants you to do, the real work you were meant to do. When the fire reaches your core, you will trash all the vestiges of harmless, powerless living. "One Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things." - 1 Corinthians 8:6 You have to come to the place where you believe Him to be Almighty. Faith in Jesus Himself; if we only look at what He says we shall never believe. When once we see Jesus, He does the impossible. Your starting point for spiritual maturity begins when you desire to do "all that Jesus began both to do and teach." (Acts 1:1) AFFIRMATIONS: Since I am in Christ I am in another reality and another life altogether. As I abide in the Word, it becomes "quick" or "alive" in my spirit and in my life. I persist in prayer with God until the substance of God's Kingdom is not merely a doctrine but a functional reality in my life. Philippians 4:13 - "I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]...” AMP This is the gloriousmind-set of an overcomer. You will be focused and strengthened; you will not be distracted. You will be deliberate and resistance will not stop you or cause you to doubt. You will release a shout that will bring down the mountain because His knowledge is established and set in -- set in you! What a mighty anointing to have! The anointing for the revelation that brings impartation, which grants you access and brings about demonstration! This is a place of "YES!” in your spirit. This is a holy, empowered position from which one engages a divine inner strength and surety without pride, but with holy confidence and boldness in the Holy Spirit. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  3. Acts 14:3 - "Therefore they stayed there a long time speaking boldly in the Lord who was bearing witness to the word of His grace granting signs and wonders done by their hands." There has to be a demonstration of this King we serve. The evidence of His resurrection is in the power of your words and the power of the actions that follow your words. Throughout the book of Acts it says, "They spoke boldly and God confirmed the situation and confirmed the Word." That boldness actually draws God into a situation. He is looking for courageous words to bring Him into a situation. STORIES OF COURAGE EMBOLDEN OUR FAITH Testimonies strip off the baggage of disappointments that have accumulated in our lives that have nothing to do with the Kingdom of God. We step into our DESTINY and the anointing so that nothing is impossible for us. The supernatural introduces us to God's PURPOSE for our life. The stories impart supernatural courage. That is why the enemy tries to discourage talking about the miracles and declarations of what God has done. THE COLD AND COMPLACENT There are those who are backslidden in their heart. They are cold, they are complacent -- they don't have a passion for God. They know enough religious routine to be at the right services, they know what tithing is all about, they know what to do as far as moral standards go -- but they are so far removed from the divine PURPOSE of God in their life that they are hiding in effect in the back pews of churches. They are waiting to hear real stories of actual events that demonstrate the power of the scriptures. That is why testimonies are so important. The testimonies draw people into a sense of God's PURPOSE in their lives. They give boldness and courage where there was previously only complacency. HEAVEN IS WATCHING Hebrews 12:1 -- "With so many witnesses in a great cloud on every side of us, we too, then, should throw off everything that hinders us....and keep running with perseverance the race that lies before us." So we have a cloud of witnesses that are waiting to see if we will actually discover the momentum of prior generations that stood in the face of absolute adversity and adverse circumstances and conflict in body, in soul and in spirit. COURAGE IS FOR EVERY DAY God is releasing a supernatural courage in the earth right now. It is time for courage to enable us to live a sword that never leaves our hands again -- it never gets put on the mantle. Every day is a day of conquest -- every day is a day for King Jesus to be glorified -- it is called courage. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  4. We don't have to become disheartened because of our weakness, because our weakness is not an obstacle; God's might will perfect strength out of weakness. "Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong." - 2 Corinthians 12:10 We must pray in order to grow. Becoming saints is the meaning of life. It is why we exist. When you meditate, imagine that Jesus Christ in person is about to talk to you about the most important thing in the world, Give Him your complete attention. AFFIRMATIONS:The revelation and impartation of the Word, which I hear and receive, will find both expression and fulfillment through me! God has called me with a holy calling, not according to my works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to me in Christ Jesus before the world began. I exhort others into Kingdom realities. God doesn't call us to earn money but to change lives (DISCIPLE others). If we will remain concerned about lives and doing the will of God, He will take care of the finances. May we crave His presence increasingly and take it to a dying world. May we be so infused with Him, such a conduit for Him, that people are forever changed wherever we go. May others see Him and sense Him in us, and desire His great salvation. In Mark 4:35-41, we see Jesus giving the disciples an opportunity to step into storm-silencing dominion power and divine authority, but they do not quite get it at first. He responds to their call for help by mentoring and modeling how to silence a storm. What we see is that when a storm kicked up, the disciples forgot the word they had from the Lord that they were to go to "the other side" (Mark 4:35), and instead of overcoming the resistance of the storm they allowed themselves to be overcome by it. Jesus knew the word He had given them was true and certain – no matter what (the word of the Lord always is). He also knew that the disciples were able to handle any storm or resistance. But when the disciples did not step into the authority they had been given by Him as His agents in the earth, Jesus did what He always does – He came to the rescue! Not only does He save them but in the saving He also reminds them of the dominion steward power that is available to every "son" of God in the earth if we simply believe (Romans 8:29, Mark 9:23). What Jesus shows them then – and each of us right now – is how to silence any storm that would attempt to interrupt, delay or interfere with a promise of God. The simple steps are this: (1)Trust and (2) rest in the Word of the Lord (Mark 4:35, 39). Know that He is always with you and empowering you, even in the midst of a severe storm He is right there with you (Mark 4:36). Do not take any storm lying down, but instead stand up to the storms sent against you, your promises, your family, your city, nation or world (Mark 4:39). Speak to the storm and command it to "be still!" Do this until you see the storm obey and bow – because it must (Mark 4:41, John 14:12). ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  5. When the Lord Jesus was on the cross, He had authority to come down if He so wished. By the same token, those who are crucified with the Lord can let their old man come down from the cross if they so choose. The best warfare to engage in against the devil is to magnify the Lord Jesus in your life. The Bible declares, "Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered..." Psalm 68:1. Worship is the spiritual equivalent of the power of magnification. When you begin to worship, you ascend to join the Object of your adoration. If you are soaring in His presence, then you are looking down on your problems. "Oh, magnify the Lord with me." - Psalm 34:3 If we would pray more for others, promote what God is doing through others rather than ourselves, then the Lord would begin to promote us. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  6. Faith is released by speaking words. Jesus encouraged us to speak to mountains or to whatever our problem is. "...For assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain..." - Matthew 17:20 You don't need to use your faith for every single need in life. You need to use your faith to believe that you are the righteousness of God in Christ, and it will cause all the blessing you seek to come after you and overtake you. (2 Corinthians 5:21) God wants you to know you are His very intention! He has destined you for this very moment! Every believer in Christ Jesus can live in the perpetual continuous flow of the Holy Spirit daily in their life, for we've all been given the blessing and authority to tap into the root of continuous oil. That root is Jesus! "You, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them become a partaker of the root and of the fatness of the olive tree." - Romans 11:17 AFFIRMATIONS: I dominate my mind and my body with my spirit since I maintain my spirit properly -- feeding, strengthening, and dominating my inner man with the Word. There may be some things in my life that I need to curse because those things are hindering me from bearing fruit for the Kingdom of God. 2 Corinthians 5:7, "For we walk by faith, not by sight." Hebrews 11:1 gives the definition of faith, "Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen" (The Passion Translation). If we look at Abraham as an example, walking by faith requires you to go to a place you do not know, one that God will reveal as you walk in obedience (Genesis 12:1). On the leading of the Holy Spirit, we are to step out in obedience and use the keys and pieces we have been given, knowing that others will arrive at the time we need them. Lie down in green pastures of Peace. Learn to unwind whenever possible, resting in the Presence of your Shepherd. In this electronic age, believers stay “wired” much of the time, too tense to find Him in the midst of their moments. He built into your very being the need for rest. How twisted the world has become when people feel guilty about meeting this basic need! How much time and energy they waste by being always on the go, rather than taking time to seek His direction for their lives. He has called you to walk with Him down paths of Peace. He wants you to blaze a trail for others who desire to live in His peaceful Presence. He has chosen you less for your strengths than for your weaknesses, which amplify your need for Him. Depend on Him more and more, and He will shower Peace on all your paths. "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake." - Psalm 23:1–3 “To shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.” -Luke 1:79 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  7. "You can be sure that the more we undergo sufferings for Christ, the more He will shower us with His comfort and encouragement." - 2 Corinthians 1:5 These sufferings are not sickness and poverty as some religious teaching suggest. These afflictions are described as the "fellowship of sufferings" that the believer will encounter for doing the will of God, or the sufferings brought on by one's allegiance to Jesus. "That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death." - Philippians 3:10 "And now, little children, abide (live, remain permanently) in Him, so that when He is made visible, we may have and enjoy perfect confidence...." - 1 John 2:28 The Word states that when we abide in Him and He is "visible,"-- we have confidence. So we can say that when we abide in Christ, we are able to "see" more clearly, and when we have vision we can also be bold and assured. We are His temple -- we need to continue to draw near." Hunger for God is one of the greatest signs of life a person can have. We must press past intellectual awareness to hunger for heartfelt encounters that change and transform. Is there not deep inside you a longing for His continuous presence? Do you not crave an increase of God's love, God's joy, God's peace, God's power? AFFIRMATIONS: I become sensitive to my spirit by meditating on spiritual things at all times -- by meditating on the Lord, on His goodness, on His greatness, and on His word. God's best for me is to take the seed of His word and plant it in my heart where it will naturally and effortlessly produce the changes that I desire. My goal is to extend the Kingdom of God to earth. He is God with you, for all time and throughout eternity. Don’t let the familiarity of that concept numb its impact on your consciousness. His perpetual Presence with you can be a continual source of Joy, springing up and flowing out in streams of abundant Life. Let your mind reverberate with meanings of His Names: Jesus—the Lord saves, and Emmanuel—God with us. Strive to remain conscious of His Presence even in your busiest moments. Talkwith Him about whatever delights you, whatever upsets you, whatever is on your mind. These tiny steps of daily discipline, taken one after the other, will keep you close to Him on the path of Life. “She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” … “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”—which means, “God with us.” - Matthew 1:21, 23 “You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence.” - Acts 2:28 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  8. You know there are things you are doing now that are temporary. You are doing them only until you find the thing God wants you to do, the real work you were meant to do. When the fire reaches your core, you will trash all the vestiges of harmless, powerless living. Our best days are yet to come! God sent us to do a job and we're going to reap because He is the one who sent us to do it! When we launch out at His Word, we're going to catch what we need to catch, even in some instances where we've not labored. "As the Father has sent me, even so, I send you." - John 20:21 God has put something inside of us and He wants it to flow out. The more it flows out, the more life it's going to bring. If there's only a trickle at first, He wants it to become a mighty river. It affects lives. You may be experiencing an urging or intense desire that God is stirring within you -- something you know that you need to step into immediately. Each time we respond to His urging it is one more advancement into our DESTINY. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  9. "Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you...." - 2 Timothy 1:6 Every believer holds a position of authority that comes with God-given talents or gifts and is hidden in Christ Jesus, above all demonic authority. So why are so many of us INEFFECTIVE? God didn't save and deliver you so you could preserve His gift in a sealed jar and live life as usual. God's people were created to rule and reign, not to be defeated. He has plans for us to rule and reign with Him in eternity. But our practice begins now. We were saved by the power of God and we live by the same power. The devil hates power because he gets kicked out of places where he is the strong man. God is much stronger and wants to kick him out of people and places through us. We don't need to wait for something to happen. Instead we need to stir that which God has already put inside of us. It is our hunger and thirst for Him that will BREAK US into a greater reality of His glory. It is time to become a walking God-encounter for others. Stir up your faith and release it to others as situations present themselves. Inhale His love and exhale His peace, for what you allow Him to do in you, He will release through you. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  10. As God's people we learn to live on the basis of hearing God's voice and obeying His word. "The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority; but the Father who dwells in me does his works." - John 14:10 If we are "in Christ", we are moving with the most pressing speed, for we are "in" the most dynamic man who ever walked the earth. When He says to us, "Follow me", He is inviting us to a high-speed chase down the roads of our life. On that chase there is no rest except eternal rest and no security except eternal security. "My children with who I am again in labor until Christ is formed in you.." - Galatians 4:19 The true success of our ministry to others will be by how it brought forth the formation of Christ within the person God has given us to disciple. The reshaping of our values and our desires is the key work of the Holy Spirit. This reshaping brings us into conformity and harmony with God's purpose for our lives (our DESTINY). AFFIRMATIONS: God is helping me walk out of the problems that have tried to grip my mind and my life. I declare this by faith in Jesus' name. I confess and meditate on God's word day by day. That word is equipping, outfitting, and furnishing me with all the spiritual gear I need to take the adventurous trip God has planned for my life. As you become increasingly aware of His Presence, you find it easier to discern the way you should go. This is one of the practical benefits of living close to Him. Instead of wondering about what is on the road ahead or worrying about what you should do if…or when…, you can concentrate on staying in communion with Him. When you actually arrive at a choice-point, He will show you which direction to go. Many people are so preoccupied with future plans and decisions that they fail to see choices they need to make today. Without any conscious awareness, they make their habitual responses. People who live this way find a dullness creeping into their lives. They sleepwalk through their days, following well-worn paths of routine. As the Creator of the universe, He is the most creative Being imaginable. He will not leave you circling in deeply rutted paths. Instead, He will lead youalong fresh trails of adventure, revealing to you things you did not know. Stay in communication with Him. Follow His guiding Presence. "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you." - Psalm 32:8 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." - Genesis 1:1 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  11. "There were many bones in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. And the Lord said unto me, 'prophesy upon these bones and say unto them, Behold I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.'" - Ezekiel 37: 2,4,5 Look at those things over which you have lost your vision. Ask Him to bring resurrection life back into those dead places and renew your vision for your own CALLING IN CHRIST. We are invited to receive the Spirit, live in the Spirit, embrace the gifts of the Spirit, and be sustained and blown along by the very breath of God to advance our DESTINY in the Spirit. We cannot be in and out, this way and that way if we're going to move and operate and ascend into the incredible levels that God wants to release in us. How will your life change as you become more extreme with your faith? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  12. God created you to rule over all the earth and everything the creeps in it. Thus, if the earth in any way is dominating you, you are malfunctioning. "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and OVER ALL THE EARTH.." - Genesis 1:26 The Old Covenant was a system of judgment and death, of the CLOSED Heaven. But Jesus says: 'You shall see the Heaven OPENED, and a way between Heaven and earth, between God and man, made clear. I am that way. I will open Heaven by My own blood.' "Then He 'In truth, in very truth I tell you all, you shall see heaven wide open.....'" - John 1:51added, AFFIRMATIONS: I am confident that His presence in my life is getting stronger. I am completely determined and committed to keep pushing ahead and to never let go until I've accomplished my God-given mission! He is preparing to move me upward into a more glorious phase in my life. I am going from glory to glory! "The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." - Revelation 19:10 We meet people everywhere. Our business is to turn them from being forgetful of God, from being devoid of faith, from being prayerless, so that they become people who habitually pray, who believe in God, remember Him and do his will. Whenever we share a testimony of what the power of Jesus has done -- any miracle, healing, salvation account -- the Spirit of prophecy is loosed over the people who are hearing it. This means the Spirit of God is actively moving on them to create faith. John 3:8 tells us, "The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit." We were born of the Spirit, but sometimes we want to live out of our heads instead of our hearts. We need to determine in our hearts that we're going to ride the wind of the Spirit no matter what our reasonings say, no matter what the naysayers say and no matter what the devil says. Sometimes we need a fresh baptism of the Spirit. Sometimes we need a fresh baptism of fire. Instead of moaning and groaning in the flesh, sometimes we need to start travailing in the Spirit for that new thing He wants to birth in our lives. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  13. Maybe you feel like your dreams have died, your hopes have died, and your prospects have died. We live in a dramatic world where you may face great hindrances with excessive drama -- God has drama for you -- divine drama. God has a perfect track record, and His resume for doing special things during dark seasons is flawless. God created us to move through spiritual seasons. And some of those seasons are spent in a wilderness. "O my God, I cry in the daytime, but you answer not; and by night I am not silent or find no rest." - Psalm 22:2 Listening to God must become a habit. We must learn to be less analytical and live with more attentiveness to the Holy Spirit. Our minds are so busy racing, analyzing, worrying, doubting, and spinning, that we don't hear when He knocks? AFFIRMATIONS: I confess that my life shows forth an excellent image of who Jesus is and what he stands for in this world. As a result of my firm determination to walk with God, I have power over sin, power over satan, and power when I pray. I stay focused on my calling and remain determined to do what God has told me to do, even if I am assaulted by outside forces. "I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name. O thou most High." - Psalm 9:2 The sacrifice of praise will cost you your self-centeredness and your natural tendency to dwell on whatever is wrong in your life. We are to be continually offering our praise to God. It is a huge key to breakthrough. Our heart attitude plays a major role inbreakthrough. There are people with chains holding them down. Christ is standing beside you with a hammer that can destroy those chains. Just call out to Him and He is faithful and will change your every circumstance. Call Unto Him! Jeremiah 33:3 says, "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." This is not just a passage in the Bible it is a promise and it is for you. You are about to receive revelation that will set you free. Press into His heart and He will press toward you and great healing will come to you like a flood. Your mind will be overwhelmed by His Glory that is coming your way and you will begin to understand God's PURPOSE for your life -- walking and not growing weary and running and not fainting -- bearing fruit that lasts. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRYhttp://afministry.ning.com
  14. Spend time in prayer so that you can get your spirit in shape. You were made to worship God. Jarius was a man who was desperate to worship God, and he was willing to fall on his face and worship God, even though a crowd of people was standing around, He wasn't ashamed. "And behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw Him (Jesus), he fell at his feet." - Mark 5:22 If we are concerned about what people think in an attempt to gain their approval (or honor), we will never take a stand in faith for anything that might be criticized. There is indeed a holy radiance surrounding a true Spirit-filled Christian. But when you harbor sin, "your light" becomes "darkness". The devil can traffic in any area of darkness, even the darkness that still exists in a Christian's heart. "So be very careful that your light never becomes darkness." - Luke 11:35 AFFIRMATIONS: God is asking me to bring Him His Word, to plead my covenant rights. I do not pray to God in ignorance but as a partner in His purposes. The Holy Spirit works mightily in me, giving me all the power I need to resist every assault the devil tries to bring against me. I confess that I walk in forgiveness! Offense, bitterness, strife, and unforgiveness have no place in my life. I am full of mercy, longsuffering, and slow to anger. Linger in His Presence a while. Rein in your impulses to plunge into the day’s activities. Beginning your day alone with Him is essential preparation for success. A great athlete takes time to prepare himself mentally for the feat ahead of him before he moves a muscle. Similarly, your time of being still in His Presence equips you for the day ahead of you. If you are not adequately equipped for the journey, you will grow weary and lose heart. Relax with Him while He readies you for action. "For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." - Ephesians 2:10 "Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart." - Hebrews 12:3 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  15. "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for You. O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?" - Psalm 42:1,2 The heart cry of David is the entreaty of every true worshiper, Where is God? Why can't I find Him? How can I build a road to where He is so that I may be with Him? The road to true intimacy with God is an inward journey, proceeding into His Presence through the entrance gate of quietness of the soul. "Be still and know that I am God...." Psalm 46:10 God designed the human soul to be passionate, abandoned & committed -- if we have nothing to die for, then we really have nothing to live for. We will never have more affection or passion for God than we understand He has for us. Ask Him to draw you into intimacy with Him, then to empower you so that whatever you do, wherever you go, you can help bring others into intimacy with Jesus. 16. "How can you give me "living water?" - John 4:11 Prayer: Flow out of me, O'well, with living water from the river of God. Holiness is not "Clean yourself up then come to Jesus" but rather "Come to Jesus just as you are then He will clean you up." True faith walks and believes in what Jesus has already accomplished and will not be discouraged by the appearances of the temporary realm. The gospel can be preached by an archbishop in a cathedral or by a converted drug dealer in a tent. The gospel itself is the greatness, the power, the majesty and the wonder of God on any occasion. Paul said his objective was "by all means to save some" -- 1 Corinthians 9:22 We cannot afford to have a moment in our lives when circumstances distract us from tending the fire of His presence in our heart. AFFIRMATIONS: I have the exact Word I need for every situation - a specific, quickened word from the scriptures. Because this Rhema from God is in my heart, I have real sword power to use against the enemy! I confess that I have taken my place in God's plan. It will take unbelievable strength and energy to move that vision from the realm of dreams to the realm of reality. Because of the Holy Spirit in me, I have the strength. Micah 4:1 - "Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the There are those in the Body of Christ who are still in a very dry place spiritually, but beginning to move up mountains towards a fresh anointing. They have crossed the desert sands and are positioned for the spiritual ascent to the heights, far above worldliness and carnal living.hills; and peoples shall flow to it." God will continue to unfold and reveal His PURPOSE for us as we begin our ascent. He is with you. Heaven’s bells continually peal with that promise of His Presence. Some people never hear those bells because their minds are earthbound and their hearts are closed to Him. Others hear the bells only once or twice in their lifetimes, in rare moments of seeking Him above all else. His desire is that His “sheep” hear His voice continually, for He is the ever-present Shepherd. Quietness is the classroom where you learn to hear His voice. Beginners need a quiet place in order to still their minds. As you advance in this discipline, you gradually learn to carry the stillness with you wherever you go. When you step back into the mainstream of life, strain to hear those glorious bells: He is with you. "Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." - Jeremiah 29:12–13“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me… My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.” - John 10:14, 27–28 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  17. Oh, how the Lord longs for His church to receive a revelation of His ravished heart - utterly overwhelmed with delight for us - even though we may not like or believe in ourselves. (Psalm 45:11) We have been created to carry the glory of God. Hebrews 2 says that through Christ's suffering He brought many sons to glory. We are the house of God, and He wants to dwell in His house. It was always God's intention to dwell with mankind. "Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!" - Corinthians 5:17 The Scriptures entreat us to go from glory to glory -- allowing us always to sustain the glory released in us so we can proceed further to the greater realms of glory He desires to display in us. "But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. - 2 Corinthians 3:18 As the will of God grows on you -- gentle impressions become waves of stronger urgency until you have clear conviction. If you don't keep your spirit built up in God, how are you going to listen to Him? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  18. Romans 4:17 -- ....."God who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did." Sometimes we feel pain from sickness. How can we go around saying the Christ has redeemed us from this sickness? How can we say that by His stripes we are healed? God's way is to call those things that are not as though they are. And because we are made in God's image, we can also call those things that are not as though they are! When God wanted to make Abraham a father of many nations, what did He do? HE CHANGED THE WAY ABRAHAM TALKED. At that time, Abraham did not even have a single child from his wife, Sarah, because she was barren. So how could he become a father of many nations? God changed the way he talked, How? By changing his name from Abram to Abraham, which means "father of many nations." Every time he said his name he called forth what God saw him already blessed with. When Jesus saw the man with a withered hand, He didn't say, "My goodness! It is so withered!" He said, "Stretch out your hand! (Matthew 12:13). He CALLED FORTH what he wanted. He looked at the paralytic and said, "Rise, take up your bed and go home!" (Matthew 9:6). He didn't see it the way it was in the natural. He saw the way God meant it to be and He called it forth. AFFIRMATION: I change the way I talk -- I see the way God meant it to be, and start calling forth my miracle. Often, the battle is not with the devil, but with our own CARNAL NATURE. Our flesh really longs to rise up and fix things, stating our opinion. We must remember--the greater the faith, the fewer the words. If there are some battles or power-struggles going on in your sphere of influence, keep in mind, it's best to always bow lower. After all, God became a baby to conquer the world. For it's, "Not by might, nor by power, but by My spirit, says the Lord." - Zechariah 4:6 As You Allow Him to Change You, He will Change Your Circumstances: The season of depression, confusion, lack, and sinful cycles is over. Don't look back -- Don't bring up the past -- It is under the Blood of Christ. Just as your sins have been forgiven forgive others. Let go of the bitterness and the regrets. Crucify your ego. Release the anger. He will work everything for good. Get ready to move into new realms of His glory. Every time you encounter His glory He is changing you. He is changing your thoughts. He is changing your perspective. He is increasing the power of His Spirit in you. He is anointing you to bring breakthrough to others. Receive the fresh prophetic flow of His presence. Be refreshed. Receive an excitement for that which is coming. The future is full of adventure. Expect Him to do mighty things for nothing is impossible for those who believe! "The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope to which He has called you, and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints." - Ephesians 1:18 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  19. Hebrews 11:1 - "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." It is a mistake to think that only certain people with unique gifts can hear and see God. If I think that it's only for others, then I will disqualify myself because I know I'm nothing special. In doing so I remove myself from ACTIVE FAITH. John 10:27 - "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." One of the essential gestures of faith is to live with the expectation that the God who said that His sheep hear His voice and who gave His life to relationship with each of us would like to communicate with us. This FAITH leads us to lean into His voice -- to learn as the prophet Samuel did:restore 1 Samuel 3:9 - "Speak Lord; for your servant is listening." Significantly, is was as soon as he learned to take this posture that he gained access to the greater revelation that God had been inviting him into. AFFIRMATIONS: The Word says I can hear God's Voice and I believe it I do hear the voice of God! "'Rise, take up your bed and walk.' And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked..." (John 5:8-9). Are you feeling paralyzed by life today, or perhaps blind or lame – physically, mentally, emotionally, or even spiritually? Do you feel like you've been lying by the pool for years, waiting for help, waiting for an angel of God to stir up miraculous healing powers? Well, isn't it fascinating that after waiting for 38 years the man who was healed never did get in the pool? Jesus just showed up on the scene, singled him out, and made him whole. "And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, he heareth us: and if we know that he hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him." -- 1 John 5:14,15 You cannot ask with confidence until there is a perfect union between you and God, as there was always perfect union between God and Jesus. The moment you pray you find that the heavens are opened -- having a fidelity and confidence to believe that He will not fail, and cannot fail. We shall never get anywhere if we depend upon our feelings. There is something a thousand beter than feelings, and it is the naked Word of God. You must beyeilded to the Word of God. The Word will work out love in our hearts, and when practical love is in our hearts there is no room to vaunt ourselves. We see ourselves as nothing when we get lost in this divine love.times The confidence comes from our fellowship with Him. There is a wonderful fellowship with Jesus. The chief thing is to be sure that we take time for communion with Him. There is a communion with Jesus that is life and that is better than preaching. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  20. John 6:55,56,60 -- "For my flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.' Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, 'this is a hard saying; who can understand it?'" John 6:63 -- "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life." OBSERVATION: If I don't feed myself on stuff that is Holy Spirit food -- if I only feed myself on stuff that I understand then I have stunted my own spiritual growth. When I only say amen to things that I comprehend then I have just decided to live a very dwarfed spiritual life. What I have done is fashioned a god that looks much like me because he is the one that I can comprehend. Galatians 5:25 -- "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." John 16:13 -- "However when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth." Jesus ignored what His natural eyes told Him, and He declared what His spiritual eyes saw. He saw the heart of God and the mind of God which was far more of a reality than what His physical senses told Him. Faith is the bridge between the eternal (the unseen) and the temporal (the seen). In prayer, we can cross that bridge and see as God sees. Real prayer is not just words, but intently waiting on God until we (by the Spirit) see what He is seeing. AFFIRMATIONS: The Word says I can hear God's voice and I believe it - I do hear the voice of God! Nothing's wrong with God, nothing's wrong with the Word and nothing's wrong with me! I am going to receive my miracle! Extravagant worship is my lifestyle. 2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” As the glory of God comes, there’s also power. In Acts 1:8 it says, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you;...." As you TURN UP YOUR EXPECTANCY that this will be one of the most powerful times of increase that will come from the glory and the power of the Lord in your life. This increase will come as a result of God’s Glory and God’s Power that you encounter fresh every day. Go into this season with a HIGHER LEVEL OF EXPECTATION than your previous season -- the Lord is going to strengthen you, anoint you, empower you, and favor you to even greater increase in this new season of time.see There are things that He has purposed for you; there are things the Lord wants to strengthen you to believe for again. In His glory and power there is no limitation. Because of His unlimited supply, we can see limits lifted off. We can see great and mighty things take place because of the unlimited realm of God. Lift your vision higher. Set your expectation on the Lord WORKING THROUGH YOU. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  21. Matthew 16:6 -- "Watch out! Jesus warned them. 'Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.'" Ephesians 1:17 -- "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him." The Pharisees emphasized knowledge over revelation and their blatant disregard for God's voice. Of all the people who Jesus encountered, His harshest statements were toward the Pharisees and Sadducees. He called them "dead tombs" and a "brood of vipers"? They were more interested in asking provocative questions and they tried to justify themselves with their own so-called "knowledge" of the Old Testament. And because of their spiritual ignorance, they missed out on the most important move of God in history -- the Messiah. They proved out the Scripture that says, "Where there is no vision (no redemptive revelation of God), the people perish." (Proverbs 28:18). God wants to move us from living a life full of head knowledge into His understanding and His revelation. That takes us moving into a different spiritual posture. We have to start listening to what the Holy Spirit is saying, waiting on Him and His revelation, and start walking that out instead of being satisfied with just knowing about it. We need the reality of scripture working in our lives by the power of the Holy Spirit. That's the difference between knowledge and revelation. One HAS the other DOES. AFFIRMATIONS: I ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to me the mysteries that are locked in scripture. I hunger for and receive revelation as part of my everyday life. I seek on-going, life-changing revelation from God. On-going revelation and encounters with the power of God launch me into understanding of things I've never understood before. I must have my own revelation from the Father of who Jesus is. I refuse to settle for a shallow mental understanding of Him. "Everyone will be salted with fire." - Mark 9:49 As God delights in igniting joy in the morning--He may allow sorrow for a night. As God desires for us to grow in grace--we may first experience a baptism of disfavor. As God longs to entrust us with Kingdom wealth, according to His riches in Glory--He may allow a season of walking through the fire of poverty. As God intends to exalt He servants--He may humble us in the flames. As God begets us to be love--we may first experience the fiery darts of hatred. In Psalm 27:8 David said, "When You said, 'Seek My face' my heart said, 'Thy face, Lord, I will seek.'" God is saying to you, "Seek My face." What is your response? Is it like David's? Are you saying, "Thy face God, I will seek." Or are you saying, "When I get caught up at work, or when things slow down a bit..."? The time is NOW and by next month "this time" may have passed. Seek Him now, while He can be found, as the Scripture says (Isaiah 55:6). Acting in the spirit of Wherever His presence is, healing is. Wherever His presence is, restoration is. Wherever His presence is, peace is. Wherever His presence is, prosperity is. We WILL See the Goodness of God -- Psalm 27 ends with "I would have lost heart if I had not believed I would see the goodness of God in the land of the living." Psalm 27:13sacrifice He will come to you and His reward will be with Him: Can you sense His desire for time with you? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  22. Psalm 17:15 -- "As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness." Many read the Scriptures simply to reinforce their current beliefs. Although they read the entire Bible, their mind only sees certain doctrines. Instead of believing what they read, they merely read what they already believe. Rarely do they find new truths in the Word. Baptists see from their perspective, Pentecostals and charismatics each have theirs, while Catholics and other denominations often have a completely different emphasis. The same way the Jews were "baptized into Moses" (1 Corinthians 10:2), so Christians are often baptized into their denomination. When they are fully indoctrinated, their minds have been immersed into a pool of teaching that leaves them more conformed to the image of their sect than to the likeness of Christ. John 8:31,32 --"So Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, ' If you abide in My word, you are truly My disciples. And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.'" AFFIRMATIONS: As I study the scriptures I submit my spirit to the leading of the Holy Spirit. I am open to different truths in the Word of God that may conflict with my present understanding. It may not seem that anything good can come out of your Nazareth, but God is not looking at our past; God isn’t looking at our resources, our money, our talents; He is looking for a Bethlehem, a holy place to deliver His will, a humble place to cover His dreams in swaddling clothes and lay them in a manger until they grow and eventually enter the temple on their own. John 1:46 - "Nathanael said to him, “Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” "And said, Verily I say to you, Except you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven." - Matthew 18:3 It is very important that the foundation upon which we stand is "The Rock," our Lord Jesus Christ, and that our life is hidden "in Christ." If our spiritual experience is resting on sand, that is, if we are trusting our own abilities, we will fail when the pressures of life increase. When difficulties affect us and we begin to lose our spiritual direction, if we will become quiet and look to the Lord, we will recognize that beneath our vacillations is a layer of spiritual strength and hope that had been deposited within us through our identification with Jesus in His death and resurrection -- which was CONFIRMED IN THE PEACE that came when He took up His abode within us. We need only to realize that WE ARE A NEW CREATION -- that old things have passed away and our life is hid in Jesus, and that our strength comes from Him. With David, we should be able to say, "The Lord is my light and my salvation..." (Psalm 27:1). If we will meditate on the past victories that we gained by placing our lives in His hands, this will become personally real to us. Paul said, "I press toward the mark..." (Philippians 3:14). This "mark" is our CALLING in Christ. We look past our vacillations to see there is within us a deep inner determination to press through to the place where our responses no longer emerge from our Adamic nature, but from the new creation that we have become. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  23. The Holy Spirit now lives in our inner man to strengthen us and help us to do what we could not do without Him. God's kingdom authority, dominion, and majesty should be reigning in every believer's inner man. "That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.....that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." - Ephesians 3:16,19 If our true desire is to have God enthroned in us -- well, that is all the difference. When we want God above all, we are willing --as Christ was willing -- to follow the Holy Spirit, even in the most dry and dark and painful times. This is the love of God. The revelation that John the Baptist had concerning the Good News and his fresh revelation of the Kingdom must all be "pressed into." We cannot receive present truth revelation without enduring the press. "The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the Kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it." - Luke 16:16 The most wicked of sinners is only one revelation away from salvation. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  24. 1 Kings 19:9 - "Then he came there to a cave and lodged there; and behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and He said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?" Elijah had come to Horeb and lodged there in a cave. Soon, the word of the Lord came to him, “what are you doing here Elijah?” Three of the most important questions God can ever ask us are: 1. What are you doing here? 2. How did your service to Me become so dry and desolate? 3. When was it that you left your first love? Isaiah 43:18,19 - "Do not remember the former things: neither consider the things of old. Behold I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." As we find our place of “departure,” There are some things we need to leave behind. As we depart one phase or season, we will also see our place to enter; we develop new strength to run the race ahead. We seek Him like never before; as we leap forward we find ourselves moving in the perfect will of God! We replace our past with joy! In the land of New Beginnings, we remove the masks and veils that have formed in the past season so we can now form our “true” identity for the future. There is a new identity and authority for us in the invisible world. This will allow us to display the wisdom of God to the powers and principalities that have blocked us in past seasons. We are filled with joy; the Lord renews our strength; the power of barrenness is broken; the light and revelation breaks the power of darkness around us. As joy and laughter arise, our emotions are healed and restored and we are propelled into a season of deliverance. Declaration: I DECREE AND DECLARE THAT THE COURAGE, THE CAPACITY, THE DRIVE, THE COMMITMENT TO WALK AWAY FROM OLD THINGS AND INTO THE NEW IS RELEASED INTO MY SPIRIT NOW. It is imperative that we all take a strong stand. We must make up our minds to not continue to stumble about in the confusion that seems to gridlock today's culture. Rather, we must walk with God-given goals and aims and His divine PURPOSE. We're not to be vague, thoughtless, and distracted during these days. We can and must discover great guidance and guidelines for living day by day, advancing in the knowledge of His CALLING on our life, possessing the wisdom that God is offering to us. Paul, in Ephesians 5:15-17, offers the Church a most severe warning: "Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil. Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is" (AMP). John 8:36 - "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." Break free from everything that hinders the work of His Spirit in your lives. Be free from all false expectations, man's expectations, religious expectations; every expectation that does not come from the hope and expectancy that He gives to you. So you must be emptied of all the things that hold you in the earthly realm, repent and turn away from those things that break His heart. Set your priorities in order for He is taking you into another realm of your faith walk. You are going from Faith to Faith and Glory to Glory. He is taking you into a new faith realm where miracles happen and mountains move and dreams and words are fulfilled in this time -- this is a Holy time and a Holy Moment. His love is reaching to the depth of your being -- this is His being poured out upon you and manifesting in you. This realm is His Kingdom in you; this is dominion, your CALLING in Christ, your place in His Kingdom. So step in, step out of the boat and walk on the water in this New Faith Realm—ONLY BELIEVE and you will receive. Rom 1:17 - "For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, 'The just shall live by faith.'" 2 Cor 3:17 - "Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." 25. How much time do you spend in God's Word compared to taking in other perspectives from television, movies, books, magazines, and the Internet? How will your life change as you become more extreme with your faith? Can you visualize how your relationship with the Father is changing? As we lay down our own plans and yield completely to Him day by day, the Scriptures promise that we will receive power from on high to be witnesses "to the end of the earth." God wants to resurrect things that have died in you. You may think that your window of occasion is past the time that anything good can happen, but remember we serve the God of the resurrection. "Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life....." - John 11:25 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
