  1. For those of you who don't know, I had GERD. It was so bad I was getting physically sick nearly every day. I had pain all day long, I was not able to eat or drink anything without feeling severe pain, and then having multiple panic attacks after standing or moving for prolonged periods. It HURT so bad I thought I was having a heart attack, and this has happened more than once in my life. I have always had problems with acid reflux to some extent, but the last five to seven years have been really, really bad. It was so bad if affected my ability to work and even walk. Almost a week back, I received some healing from the Lord unbeknownst to me at the time. I ate four pieces of pizza, and had a glass of pop to wash it down as a "treat." Well, it took all the rest of that day, and all into the next day that I realized that I had "forgotten" to take my acid reflux medicine and then it dawned on me... I had pizza AND pop both. Both of which are no no's when you have severe acid reflux like what I had. Of course, everything I ate flared up my acid reflux but those two things for sure were things I was to definitely STAY away from. I was amazed, then I marveled, and then I was humbled but excited. GOD HAD HEALED MY GERD. Praise God! I believe more healing is to come. I can't wait to see what the Lord is doing in my life. <3 If God did it for me, he can do it for YOU too!
  2. "Hallelujah, You have saved me! So much better your way!" -So Much Better (Your Way) Bethel Music Thank you Yeshua!
  3. Shalom dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Yes we are Christian and yes we hold on to faith, promises and keep hope even during trial and tough times right? But we can't ignore the fact that some battles are harder than we thought nor negate the fact that some victories are taking much longer to happen then we would want to admit, in all reality we are mere humans and at times our faith is stretched to its limit which we only realize once our limit has been reached. We pray, fast, wait, serve ,worship and praise but the key to be joyful in the midst of these storms is Praise. Why? Well ,Cleary in Genesis and throughout the Bible God talks about wanting his creatures to glorify him therefore ,praise is the highest glorification he can be given which is why it is the key. I have learned that music can be a good way to get in the mood, finding spiritual music that speak to our feelings sets us in the right atmosphere to praise. Singing and dancing brings happiness ,relief and joy. Its easy to praise God when we are in our winning season but it is harder in our "I hit my limit" season but this is the most powerful praise as it requires true reverence and submission to undertake yet, it is also the most effective and speed releasing process. In Luke 18, God talks about the persistent widow and states that if we like her persist in asking he will "speedily" rescue and answer us. God whom talks a lot about perseverance and patience which we experience throughout our lives now speaks of speed? Praise is your weapon,it makes God happy. Its like when you are sad and somehow someone brings your favourite food, beverage or you watch your favourite movie or talk to your best friend these moments where you feel so happy quickly and forget instantly your sadness since something you truly deeply enjoy is right at your fingertip this is praise to God and even more when he sees how you feel and regardless have taken a step out of your pain to make him smile. Music is an open doorway to joy, find good music to cheer up and then praise God and see how he reacts. Here is a song that summarizes this little advice I wanted to share to encourage anyone in need today a very good song! Be blessed!
  4. Tattooed By Your Blood 4/23/17 Sunday 10:03am-10:58am Turning left to right, Each day and each night, I know why I fight, For you’ve shown me your light, For you’ve given me life. My spirit has lifetime insurance, It’s given me a reason to dance, It’s a never ending abundance, A never ending life that still comes to overflood, For that night, I was tattooed by your blood. My spirit will never face death, No, not again, One day, I will take my last breath, Though I don’t know when, It’s your love and life that I’ll have left. Though each day my flesh shows it’s ways, And each day demons remind me of my worst days, I remember that after I was tattooed by your blood, I am a new creature and forgiven by your grace, For me you gave up your life & washed all my sins away. No matter how much blood I shed, It’s not like the blood you have shed. For my body may lose it’s life, But yours has brought me to life from death. For when I was tattooed by your blood that night, For when I was brought up from darkness to light, My heart has completely transformed, And now my spirit is reborn! It’s a miracle only you can perform!! I’m thankful that you’ve shown me eternal grace, I’m so glad that one day I may see your face. For something so priceless and grand, It will be a privilege to hold your hand. I could spend all my life thanking you forever, For a life with you cannot get any better. It’s sad to see the world doesn’t know you, It’s sad to see how much they need you, too. It’s sad to see they don’t know it’s you they need, It’s sad to see they refuse you for their own greed. I’m glad to see there’s at least a few you will save, I’m glad to know it’s not based on how we behave. I’m glad to see how you have changed who we are, I’m glad to know you take the deepest place in my heart. I hope others will understand it’s you they need, And the reason that day your body would bleed. I could see after you gave me a tattoo and covered my eyes with mud, And the same for them, they just need the same exact tattoo by your blood. I understand all this because… That is the way I once was, Before I was tattooed by your blood.
  5. Praising God Praising God is something We should do throughout each day Counting all the blessings That we find along the way Some we take for granted Like our breath, our voice, our rest Also the endurance which can Get us through each test Then there's friends and family We must treasure while they're here Showing them we love them so And telling them they're dear Thankful for protection And for healing as we mend Grateful for provisions That God faithfully will send Most of all, to praise Him For the wondrous plan He made When He sent down Jesus And the price for sin was paid
  6. How Amazing Will The Feeling Be To Just Stop And Say… Finally, We Are Here In Heaven… After All These Years... We Are Finally Here With Our Lord Jesus In Heaven...
  7. So I actually participated with this topic on another forum and loved all the replies.....a good reminder to be thankful in all things.
  8. Shalom, everyone. I'm curious: What do YOU do to "praise the LORD?" I'm just looking for honest answers and details for now. What do you say? What do you do? What actions do you perform? What "liturgy" do you use (if any)? Also, by what indicators do you determine whether your "praising the LORD" was successful? How do you know your praise "got through?" (I just want to add that there'll be no judgment from me on your answers.)
  9. PSALMS 22:22 “In the midst of the congregation I will sing your praise.”
  10. Some 10 years ago, during a very difficult time of my life, the Lord led me to listen to a particular praise and worship CD 24/7. I had it playing in my home and in my vehicle if I went someplace. Many times, the Lord would draw me to spend time in His presence, just to fellowship and to pour myself out to Him (as He still does) and those are some very intense and powerful times. One night, I had gone to sleep with the CD playing softly, as I had for weeks... and I was given a dream: I dreamed I was at a Christian retreat in the mountains and there was a handful of us gathered together. Everyone had their mind on the Lord, and I could hear the most indescribably beautiful music... after a bit, one person stood and prayed and then when they were done, the next person, and then the next, and the next.... what was amazing is that each person's prayer sounded like a song... like individual stanzas to one beautiful Heavenly song! And when each person had sung their prayer, then everyone joined in one accord and prayed powerfully on behalf of a person I knew. The entire time, this Heavenly music was playing. When I woke, I was still hearing that Heavenly music, and then it faded into the song that was playing on my CD player... a song by Paul Baloche, "No Eye Has Seen." When I awoke, it was still the middle of the night, and I was praying in the Holy Spirit, intercession for this woman/friend. After a bit, I fell back to sleep. Later that day, I wrote an email to a mutual friend and told her about the dream and the song. She then relayed it to the woman I dreamed about (who we prayed for in the dream). What we discovered is that she had been going through some difficulty and had some things she was seeking answers for from God. She had gone to that Christian retreat to spend time seeking God... and the night of my dream was her first night there. __________________ When I listen to music, and sing along, it is from my heart and spirit to Him. (I can carry a tune, but my voice is nothing spectacular, imo.) But what I'm wanting to emphasize is.... worship is a lifestyle, a state of the heart .... and even our prayers are worship ... everything we do (as unto the Lord) is worship. When our heart has a revelation of His goodness and love, one can't help but burst with His praises! I can see that it is your heart to worship Him... you've acknowledged some things that have hindered the outflow... I believe God sees and will honor your desire to worship and praise Him. 1 Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” Psalm 95:1 "O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation." Psalm Chapter 150 1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
  11. God be praised! In loneliness and despair, feeling trapped in a sinful world, I know there is a remnant to be comforted by; I know there is a God that did not hold back His only Son. Thank you Lord for you are faithful and true.
  12. Hello Everyone! I am so happy to announce that this morning I prayed and accepted the Lord's free gift of salvation! Actually, it was more like re-dedication. Because I have known about/believed in God for as long as I can remember, but I wandered off and became lost 15 years ago. I don't feel any different now, but I am determined that this time, I'm definitely not going to rely on my feelings! I'm going to believe that I am saved by faith, not by how I feel. Joining the Worthy community had a part to play in this. So I would like to confess to the entire community, right now, that Jesus Christ is Lord! Philippians 10:9-10: "...if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved." Philippians 10:11: For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” Philippians 10:13: For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” If anyone cares to pray for me, you can view my prayer request at: Prayers for Strength Needed.
  13. Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I do everything for His glory!
  14. Hello, I'm Ian, and I would like to start my stay off with praise poem to God! Praise to our Father, who loves all Unknown His face, but embraced is He Savior of Man Savior of creation Your Father, my Father, our Father Love is His message I, you and all others are his messengers and recipients, his sons and daughters Call His name, and call out His adversaries King of Man, Father of Man, savior of us all
  15. Proverbs 20:27 - "The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly." As we begin to cry out from a deep engaging of the Spirit of the living God within our spirits, we experience the communion of the Holy Spirit, which is a place of deep to deep fellowship with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit searches out the deep counsel of God for you and reveals it to you. OBSERVATION: If I am sensitive to my spirit, the Lord will tell me what to pray about. He will alert me to those things that need to be addressed in prayer. I become sensitive to my spirit by meditating on spiritual things at all times -- by meditating on the Lord, on His goodness, on His greatness, and on His Word. AFFIRMATIONS:Out of His glorious riches He strengthens me with power through His Spirit in my inner man. (Ephesians 3:16) I receive the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. (Ephesians 1:17) The same Spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead dwells in me. So, therefore, I walk in His Kingdom power. I walk in the Presence of the Lord, in step with Him. His fire surrounds me and His Glory dwells within me. My speech demonstrates the power of God’s Spirit in my life. (I Corinthians 2:4) "God put His stamp of ownership (seal)on you by giving you the Holy Spirit he had promised...so that your minds may be opened to see His light, so that you will know what is the hope to which he has called you...and how very great is his power at work in us who believe. This power in us is the same as the mighty strength which he used when he raised Christ from death." - Ephesians 1:13,18-20 To be sealed means to be stamped with an image. That means, when we were born again, we were stamped with the likeness of the Anointed One. We were made to look like the Lord Jesus Christ on the inside. OBSERVATION: Shall we stop short of what He says we ought to be -- shall we cease to come into line with the Mind which is always thinking for our best -- shall we cease to humble ourselves before him who took the way of the cross for us -- shall we cease to withhold ourselves from Him.Can a true believer come to God today without a cry to God to make them, as it were, flames of fire?God shall endue you in that you won't be satisfied until you feel the very members of your body on fire with a Spirit-kindled PURPOSE. Song of Solomon 3:10 - "He made the pillars of silver and the couch of gold. the ascent is of purple and the middle of it is decorated with love for the daughters of Jerusalem." THE PILLARS OF THE HUMANITY OF JESUS CHRIST ARE OF SILVER. HIS COUCH, WHICH IS THE DIVINE NATURE OF CHRIST, IS MADE OF GOLD. THE ASCENT, OR THE ENTRY WAY, SPEAKS OF THE JOURNEY OF JESUS CHRIST. THE MIDDLE OF THE ROYAL CHARIOT IS DECORATED WITH GOLD ORNAMENTS; THIS SHOWS THAT LOVE IS THE CROWNING GLORY OF ALL THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT.JESUS CHRIST CONTAINS ALL THE TREASURES OF WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE IN THE FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD. 16. Matthew 3:11 - "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but He that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and with fire." OH, HOLY SPIRIT....OH, FIRE! THAT SO INTIMATELY AND TENDERLY PENETRATES THE FIBRE AND CORE OF MY SOUL.....CLEANSE ME, BURN IN ME, WITH YOUR PASSION FOR CHRIST! John 5:44 - "How can you believe, when you receive glory from one another, and you do not seek the glory that is from the one and only God?" We need to decide if we are going to let all of the previous wounds and disappointments determine who we are, or if we are going to be like Christ, using the Cross to determine who we are, seizing the occasion to die to ourselves and rise above this world and live in resurrection power. We cannot be resurrected unless we have first died. Observation: I KNOW I AM RELATING CORRECTLY TO GOD WHEN MY HUNGER FOR HIS GLORY CAUSES ME TO FORSAKE THE PRAISE OF MEN. "But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place." - 2 Corinthians 2:14 God lives among the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). As we praise God we sense His presence and in His presence there is fullness of joy. Praise is a powerful spiritual weapon as it changes the atmosphere around us. In the Scriptures we read how the walls of Jericho came crashing down, giving victory to God's people due to the Israelites releasing shouts of praise(Joshua 6:20). In Acts 16:25-26, we read that the prison doors shook open when Paul and Silas prayed and praised God. Praise lifts our eyes from the battle to the victory, for Christ has already won the victory. We are more thanconquerors in Christ Jesus. It is the will of God for us to rejoice in Him no matter what comes. As we rejoice in God, we release joy to others. Rest in Him and praise Him in the storm. He is the God of the impossible and He is working all things for your good. Join your heart toHis and allow His love to give you strength. "You will make known to me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; in Your right hand there are pleasures forever." - Psalm 16:11 "These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." - John 16:33 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  17. Some Inspiration....Praise the Lord.....
  18. Numbers 2:9 -- "All that were numbered in the camp of Judah were.......These shall FIRST set forth." Throughout the Old Testament, the Israelites conquered their foes with the ultimate weapon – praise and worship. We know this because of the recorded fact that – of the 12 tribes of Israel – the tribe of Judah was the one that was usually sent first. The very name Judah means "praise" (see Genesis 29:35). The divisions from the tribe of Judah, praising the Most High simply by moving forward together, could shatter the atmosphere of resistance before the warriors from the other 11 tribes even got to the front lines. In the same way, we need to "send Judah first" into our own situations. Are we facing an intimidating foe? Send Judah (praise) up against it first. Are we not sure you can hold the territory you have conquered? Send Judah first. Do we feel weak and worn out and confused? Send Judah first. Lift up the banner of praise! We drop our other garments and weapons by the roadside, and move forward like Judah, giving expression to a heart that is filled with godly confidence, awe, and courage. Praise the Lord! Yes, let's just praise the Lord! Remember, worship always precedes His presence! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY http://afministry.ning.com
  19. Spend time in prayer so that you can get your spirit in shape. You were made to worship God. Jarius was a man who was desperate to worship God, and he was willing to fall on his face and worship God, even though a crowd of people was standing around, He wasn't ashamed. "And behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw Him (Jesus), he fell at his feet." - Mark 5:22 If we are concerned about what people think in an attempt to gain their approval (or honor), we will never take a stand in faith for anything that might be criticized. There is indeed a holy radiance surrounding a true Spirit-filled Christian. But when you harbor sin, "your light" becomes "darkness". The devil can traffic in any area of darkness, even the darkness that still exists in a Christian's heart. "So be very careful that your light never becomes darkness." - Luke 11:35 AFFIRMATIONS: God is asking me to bring Him His Word, to plead my covenant rights. I do not pray to God in ignorance but as a partner in His purposes. The Holy Spirit works mightily in me, giving me all the power I need to resist every assault the devil tries to bring against me. I confess that I walk in forgiveness! Offense, bitterness, strife, and unforgiveness have no place in my life. I am full of mercy, longsuffering, and slow to anger. Linger in His Presence a while. Rein in your impulses to plunge into the day’s activities. Beginning your day alone with Him is essential preparation for success. A great athlete takes time to prepare himself mentally for the feat ahead of him before he moves a muscle. Similarly, your time of being still in His Presence equips you for the day ahead of you. If you are not adequately equipped for the journey, you will grow weary and lose heart. Relax with Him while He readies you for action. "For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." - Ephesians 2:10 "Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart." - Hebrews 12:3 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  20. "Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the Cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." - Hebrews 12:1-2 We are all running the race of faith in our Christian life. The Lord wants you to know He is running this race with you. He is cheering you on and interceding for you every step of the way. This race is about faithfulness and perseverance. There will be times along our course of the race where we are tempted to focus on distractions and we stumble. Jesus is reminding us to focus on Him and the path set before us because He has gone before us and knows the path ahead. God has a race path or a DESTINY for each of us and our role is to be obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit and follow the path the Lord has planned for us. "May He equip you with all you need for doing His will. May He produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to Him. All glory to Him forever and ever! Amen," - Hebrews 13:21. "Faithful is He who calls you, and He will bring it to pass," - 1 Thessalonians 5:24 CAST OFF THE WEIGHTS THAT HINDER RUNNING YOUR RACE It is important for us to cast off everything that hinders us, anything that slows us down or trips us in our race. We are to lay aside any unbelief and doubt but instead trust in God and His promises as He is faithful to bring to pass everything He has promised. We are to set our mind on things above and use our spiritual sight as we run our race because as we do this we will see the road ahead very differently. Our role is to be obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit and to walk by faith and not by sight. LEAPING OVER YOUR OBSTACLES We are called to persevere even when there are obstacles in our race. In 1 Timothy 6:12 we read we are to, "Fight the good fight of the faith." We can rise above our struggles and know we are overcomers in Christ as He has already won the victory for us. The Lord is reminding us to praise and trust Him in all parts of our race. This will cause us to leap over obstacles that may come our way in our race. The steadfastness of the Old Testament "witnesses" in Hebrews chapter 11 speaks to us of the rewards of never giving up. Their unyielding faith points to Jesus and urges us to follow their example and run with perseverance the race marked out for us. "I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus," - Philippians 3:14 Jesus is our example of how to run the race and we are to walk as He walked. "The one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked" - 1 John 2:6 The Lord is highlighting the need to lean on Him as our source of strength when we are weary in our race. "Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary," - Isaiah 40:31 Be encouraged as you run your race of faith – the Lord is running with you and He knows the race course He has planned for you. Cast off anything that is hindering your race and run with joy, hope, and freedom. Praise Him and trust in Him as He is faithful to equip you with all you need for every part of the course. Draw close to the Lord and allow Him to renew you and give you strength in the hard times of the race. Run the race appointed to you (God's CALLING on your life) and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus.
