I just sent you a pm because I do have one possible obstacle, but prayer may just overcome that.

...you are meeting resistance. I will pray for you.

Did you stop and consider the possibility that I might be meeting resistance because...well...maybe because what I am proposing might be greatly used by the Lord such that Satan doesn't want it to begin at all. Just saying that might be another possibility.

Resistance may be futile against the Borg on Star Trek but I will continue pursuing what the Lord seems to be laying on my heart to do, no matter what resistance I meet .

I like the idea of having them available for free and printable, but I was also thinking that someone like myself would rather just order them online and pay for them, rather than print, sort, cut, staple.

Could we offer them both free and orderable, at a reasonable cost?

Can others give some feedback? We can do a focus group right here.

As someone who is praying for your endeavor, I pray for your success in reaching those who need Jesus. Anytime someone is doing work for the Lord - it is a worthy thing. Just be more positive in your approach and I think people will see that - negativity does not serve His purpose. Blessings!!

Hi there artsylady!

First and foremost I want this to be a ministry of the Body so please...if anyone has suggestion or ideas...pipe up.

My take on this artsylady is that we could offer both the option to pay for tracks such that they are delivered complete, ready to use AND allow them to be printed out freely.

In other words I just don't think it good to limit their use by requiring that one's pay for them if that makes sense.

I like your idea of a focus group :emot-questioned:

I need to confess something here to clear the air and get things right as we continue to discuss this.

I have not been operating out of Christ's peace in my heart. Rather I have been operating out of frustration. I won't go into the details of that frustration as it would serve no purpose to do so here. But suffice it to say that my heart has not been right.

The idea of a track ministry as I have briefly outlined here is a good one I think. It is something that the Lord might want us to do but I have to make sure I am operating from a heart filled with God's peace and not frustration. I appreciate the various corrections I have received here both in public and in private DM's. God IS using the Body in the way it was intended with respect to bringing me much needed correction! And that is a wonderful thing!

I may need correction in the future and aside from saying the above I just want to encourage anyone, and I mean anyone, who thinks I am operating in a less than godly way in what I say to feel free to either speak up publicly or send me some delicious correction privately. If your correction is of God...I believe it will get through to me though you may have to throw in a little patience in with your correction until the Lord convicts me of the truth of what you may be sharing with me.

There are a number of things that need to be discussed regarding what I have proposed here.

Among other things the following would be good to discuss I think...

1. What is the Gospel (a foundational thing if we are going to write tracks together :emot-questioned:).

2. How are tracks to be written (i.e. collectively or by one author subject to revision by others)

3. Where are the tracks to be housed and how are they to be made available to the Body?

4. How are we to effectively discuss this? Do we continue discussing it here at Worthy, elsewhere?

There are many other issues that will need to be discussed. But if the Lord is in this He will give us the patience and motivation to get through such discussions to the desired end. That the lost might have a greater opportunity to hear the Gospel from us who hand out such tracks and the Lord might make of us better Christians for it.

I am not sure that a discussion of this would fit into Worthy's forum structure because a lot of threads would have to be started on a whole lot of topics. Also...I want more freedom to use resources that are not appropriate to use here. For example I might want to point to a YouTube video of a sermon on what the Gospel is as a subject of discussion. Rather than laying it out myself in a post. That type of thing (links to YouTube videos are not allowed here).

So I personally prefer discussing this elsewhere but I am certainly open to continuing here. There are to be sure some advantages to keeping this discussion here. Among them is the wider audience that is present here such that others in the Body might more readily see this and might be moved to join up with us in doing this.

Regardless of how the discussion goes here...for various reasons I want to eventually have this ministry idea tied to a web site external to Worthy which would neccesitate moving it elsewhere at some point.

Anyway...those are just some thoughts off the top of my head.

Anybody got any thoughts on any of the above? Especially how and/or where to best continue this discussion?

Thanks.

Carlos

Does everyone on this forum believe in a fiery tormenting hell? I just can't believe that God would burn someone alive forever when he would not even approve of letting his people burn their children alive to the god Molech. Plus it would be unjust to punish someone forever when they had only lived a few years of life as a sinner and God is not unjust. No but and eye for an eye, life for life. punishment for sin is death not everlasting torment. Plus I know God would not take pleasure in anyone suffering that long no matter how bad they were in this short life. Adam was told that he would go back to the dust. Fire accomplishes the same thing it completely destroys what is thrown in it thus never again existing.

There is many scriptures in the Bible that are hard to balance but I just think about God's ultimate qualities first being love then wisdom, justice and power and the thought of a burning torturing hell makes no sense to me. Nobody who says that they are love would do such a thing. How many of you could burn your child in a fire and watch him suffer even for a minute? Well if you can't do it then neither will God because he is love!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
