I have listened to John Hagee many times and have never found fault in anything he says.

Instead of evaluating people in here, how about if we discuss individual issues? That would be a much more productive exchange, methinks.

1 Corinthians 3:3-7

For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere men? For when one says, "I follow Paul," and another, "I follow Apollos," are you not mere men?

What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe--as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.

AllforJesustheLord..
I think we need to be careful with that thought though the reason is, look at who Jesus hung out with, people who were not perfect.

I understand what you are saying..(Jesus hung out with the disciples)

Shadow,

In that context, they were argueing over who was the better teacher. I don't think we are argueing about this or even exalting them, I think we're simply thankful that the Lord has called a few good men to teach us. I know what you're saying but that verse in the correct context I believe does not apply to us. Of course there is no better teacher than Jesus. :D

I still say that I've heard Mr. Hagee teaching some Biblically sound things; I watched his Promise, Problem, Provision series and found it to be something that was a word in due season. I personally saw him, though, advertising with Jesse Duplantis at the end of his show as to how they were going to be on some cruise together and it was shortly thereafter that I heard him preaching the "Jesus was rich" philosophy.

Another thing I take issue with: the fact that John charges to attend his meetings. A guy I went to church with was showing me a flyer Mr. Hagee sent out as to how he was going to be in Memphis, TN and to call Ticketmaster to get tickets. That's sad to charge people to get in to hear what is supposed to be the word of God. Joyce Meyer doesn't charge at all to get into any of her meetings, so I wonder why Mr. Hagee does?

Comon' Gary, you don't mind it if we say we got a cool brother in Christ who makes us laugh and cheers us up when we're down (hint, hint)

I think it's healthy to lift each other up and encourage our brethren every chance we get. Life's not easy for anyone; it's full of challenges and hardships.

We live in a world that's full of critics and everybody's got an opinion.

If we can lift people up and appreciate their hard work, there's no harm in showing thankfulness...

We should be quick to speak kindly and slow to criticize, preferring to err on the side of mercy.

Not one of us has attained perfection yet. I know I'm a long way from it.

Satan wants nothing more than to divide and conquer. If ever there was a time to err on the side of mercy, it's now. Blessed are the peacemakers....

We should oppose error for the sake of the Body of Christ, but we need to be wary not to act without careful consideration of the facts.

If there is false doctrine being taught, we need to expose it and pray God protect those who are vulnerable to it.

Then we should pray for those who teach error, whether in ignorance or deliberately.

Mercy begets mercy.

Gary: I know you know alot about the WOFer's. I would pray for them and ask the Lord to grant them repentence. Heaven knows, they'll need His help to overcome such doctrines.

It breaks my heart to see the elderly on Social send in their meager earnings so someone else can live in luxury.

For what it's worth, years ago I had read that of all the ministers evaluated, Pat Robertson lived in a modest home with a yearly salary of only $52,000/year. That was some years ago but he had the lowest income for televangelists.

I love the 700 Club ministry so much...they are a wonderful blessing.

I don't judge people for how much they make but I sure do hate to see poor people giving their money to predators who exploit them.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
