Mighty, you don't have to go.

Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.

I would really consider whom you call a friend. A friend would not put you in a situation like this. This is why we are to be careful , for what does light have to do with darkness?

Whatever he does tommorow, i pray that the Lord forgives him for i already have. He asked me to go down tommorow and i said i would, i knew why he wanted me to go down when i said that i would.

Luke 6:30-31: " Give to everyone who asks of you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you. "

The Lord Jesus loves everyone, so should we. The Lord gave to everyone who asked, so should we.

No matter what, i will always love him for the Lord loves him and we must follow the Lord in everything he does, no matter what the cost.

There is no need to put yourself in danger though. I don't think that is necessarily following the Lord in this case. He needs to get control of himself. It's one thing to fight for something just and right and another to subject yourself to violence because this guy is being a bully.

I feel compelled to go their tommorow, all my life i have been running away from bullies and it ends now. He asked of me, so shall i give. I pray that the Lord leads jamie to him. Why should i not go? I will go with faith and receive his punishment, how much more shall he be punished on the most glorious and terrifying day of the Lord? Also if i dont go i'll just be looking over my shoulder for who knows how long, i'd rather get it out of the way so that i can live a paranoia-free life. The Lord is good, if it his will that harm comes my way tommorow then let it be so, for everything that is something is something because the Lord willed it to be. All the glory be to God forever and ever. AMEN!!

edit: just had to correct something.

Dear One,

I believe your love of Our Lord is true and sincere. I'm simply saying you have nothing to prove to anyone. I pray the Lord speaks to the heart of Jamie. I also pray for your safety and ask God to Surround you with His Safety. Do not, dear brother, let this person manipulate you, though. God Bless.

Thank you for your replies everyone. I'm considering not going down tommorow.

If i don't go down, am i guilty of lying because i told him i would go down to his house tommorow?

Also, am i weak of faith for not going down and entrusting my safety to the Lord?

I'm sorry, but something doesn't ring true here. You ask for advice so I'll bring it forth.

You are holding something back... not telling some of the details that need to be told. Something that is very important is being covered up. I do not know why you gave some details and left others out.

Anyway, the Bible is very clear, as a Christian you are to seperate yourself from having much dealings with the darkness of this world." Know ye not that A LITTLE LEAVEN leaveneth the whole lump? (1Cor. 5:6)

also

"A LITTLE LEAVEN leaveneth the whole lump." (Gal. 5:9)

This is very plain that light and darkness cannot mix. So you have a choice... disobey God and do what "you" want to do, or

obey God and seperate yourself from the works of darkness, setting a witness that Gods laws must rule.

One other thing:

"What would Jesus do?"

Mighty,

Don't go down to Jamie's tomorrow. In fact, cut all ties with him. Unless we're missing something here, he is not your friend. Friends don't terrorize other friends. Blessings.

That is not what it means, but if you believe it, can I have a million dollars? We are to first be wise. Yet, you gave your word, so you have to go now. Just remember, a friend would not put you in such a position.

God Bless,

Alan

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
