Oh, what a blessing the Lord gave you the grace of discernment for you and your family........and the courage to stand firm in the WORD!

In this depraved, narcissistic society......those ministries of health, wealth, and prosperity tickle this feel-good generation......to their detriment.

But the Lord said......"Pick up your cross, and carry it"......(And His yoke is light!...)Keep on, keeping on......the Lord is with you!!

Thank you dotcom, for your words of encouragement.............they are SUCH a blessing to me. It's weird, there was a time, when people would say, "oh things aren't really like that?"

It doesn't seem like it was THAT long ago. I think we've figured out, they are like that. So, now we pray! We cry out to our Lord and Savior, and ask for His mercy upon us. We still look to Him. We are prisoners of hope. But it's more than just prayer. Now we must listen to Him. Obey and know that He is God.

I agree.....it doesn't seem like it was THAT long ago......

And it's not just adding up....it's multiplying......I call it the SNOW-BALL COMING DOWN THE MOUNTAIN.....in every facet of the news....including what Lord Jesus warned of, to happen within the Church.

Jesus is not surprised, and He is fully in charge......and He is planted firmly in your lives. May we grow closer to Lord Jesus....as "prisoners of hope"....(that blesses me!)

Tozer has long been one of my favorites. Brother Lawrence is another, and there's Tommy Tenny, Francis Frangepane, and many others in morning star ministeries who are serious God Chasers, and for this they are shunned by the make believe Christians because God Chasers make them feel guilty. So praise God for fellowshipping with Jesus when you are rejected by the religious. As to the issue of toungues, many recieved that at their baptism, but that wasn't the only gift given at someones baptism in The Holy Spirit, so as always it is wrong for anyone to say God only does it this way or that way.
