Don't you think by teaching evolution as fact at schools verges on forcing children to adopt evolutionist views when they are too young to make a major decision like that on their own?

Actually, the science I learned in school was pretty general and based on fact (otherwise we wouldn't have had it in our curriculum). I think it would be an eye-opener for any Christian to open a Biology textbook.

You still haven't answered my question so I'll write it again. If you have so much "evidence" to God/god's existence (and we atheists, in turn, have nothing) then why is it that early Christians were so unwilling to let people ask questions? Why the fear? They had the same Bible you do now and you claim all the evidence from that book. Why were early Christians so afraid of questions?

Because a simple high school Biology textbook is enough to shake a person's faith.

But it didn't with me and I wasn't saved at that point either.

I rejected evolution because I found it ludicrous - blame it on my science teacher's way of teaching or simply blame it on ME using MY intelligence to make a decision with what I was presented with.

To the evolution point, the theory isn't flawed. It also doesn't negate the idea of randomness. We have the lowly stamp of our origins contained in our flaws. Which means we haven't evolved enough yet to have filtered them out.
