Just before I start , let me reply to the beginning of your post'

so just for the record. I'm an octogenarian and have been into the word for the best part of twenty years so I'm well off the milk and into t-bone steak. and have done all you mention above.

I'm sorry that I have not got the time to go through all your postings as you seem to be putting words into my mouth that I dont recall saying. eg.

Eric who is the woman in rev chapter 12, you? I would like your point of view, since you apparently disagree, who gave birth to the one who will rule with a rod of iron and who was caught up to the throne of God?

I don't recall making a statement like that for starters, but I wiil give you my opinion which I have gleaned through study from the bible and various other writings. to whom the woman is in Chap. 12, but first a couple of verses from Galations chap.3.

( 6 ) Even as Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness

( 7 ) Know ye therefore that they which are of faith the same are the children of Abraham.

( 14 ) That the blessings of Abraham might come on the gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we may receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

( 29 ) And if ye be Christ's then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

As I see it the woman in chap. 12 represents those people of faith, the seed or the church the way the early fathers used it.. The woman is IMO the spiritual Israel of God which includes all the people of faith.

I could go into further detail, but I feel it would be fruitless. I haven't disagreed with everything you've said because you mostly quote scripture and I never argue against what is written in the bible, only some people's interpretation. eg. you say that the restrainer is the Holy Spirit, because that's your interpretation. I see it differently, because if the H/S is taken away from the earth, as you put it, as I recall, who is going to minister to the people that you say are going to convert during the tribulation. No H/S, means no counseller, no comforter and no one to convict them and cause them to turn to Christ. It takes Holy Spirit power to do that.

As this could go on and on and on, I'll call it a day on this topic. I am adamant on my post-trib resurrection/rapture opinion. This I think is the first time that I have ever entered any discussion on this subject and I have no desire to continue.

This is why God allows the worldly to be deceived because they have rejected the Love Of The Truth. So yes they will think that the Anti-christ is God on earth. i have been thinking of all the atheists who have said to me "i will not believe in God or Jesus without proof. Well unfortunately one day they will all receive proof they will get their signs and wonders and they will believe that God is with them on earth. They will not hesitate to follow the beasts commands and will kill us thinking they are doing Gods will.

WOW thanks....that makes soooo much sense now. I always wondered exactely where the athiests would come in. Now I can see. Its starting to sink in now. And of course they would have to see great things to begin to believe the lie.

Sorry John3;16, but all you have done is reprinted half the Revelation and great chunks of Zechariah that I have read before over and over, which proves nothing of a pre-trib rapture. However keep studying my brother, and you too will come to know the truth from a lie.

I apologize if I misquoted you, but your response inferred to me that you disagree with me, and maybe the flesh got the best of me, but I wanted to draw out, where and why you disagree, I have learned much through discussions and searching scripture, but if it causes dissention in the body of Christ than it is unprofitable, whether you believe in a pre-tribulation or post-tribulation, or no rapture, this has no bearing on your standing with Christ, salvation is through the work on the cross. The beast is not a person. The beast is a kingdom (nation) of people. Which includes their leadership and the subjects or people. The angel of the LORD explained this to daniel.

Da 7:23

"Thus he said: 'The fourth beast shall be A fourth kingdom on earth, Which shall be different from all other kingdoms, And shall devour the whole earth, Trample it and break it in pieces.

The false prophet who is in charge of the beast in the book of rev. Is a person speaking and teaching falsehoods useing the name of the LORD.

Re 19:20

Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone

This will occur at the end of the Tribulation period, but for any one who is interested I listed verses that give proof the "Times of the geentiles are fulfilled" at the end of the tribulation.
