as i thought. in other words, you don't watch fox news, you just spew the same vitriol that we hear from the liberal hate-mongers. you really don't know what you're talking about, at least on this issue.

Dude, I was being facetious. :whistling: Good work on descending into partisan attacks though.

I watch FOX news now and then. Far too often they simply lie, or are vastly incorrect about the facts. Example;

Obama was talking about practices of insurance company Executives that result in denying people coverage.

"They don't do it because they are bad people, they do it because it is profitable."

Now, any person versed in this particular mannerism regarding English and it's grammatical structure will tell you he is saying that they are not bad people, they do x because it is profitable. What did Hannity have to say to that?

Hannity: "Obama said Insurance company executives are bad people."

They also regularly edit and splice clips in a measure that goes beyond poetic license, and straight into misrepresenting messages.

So, yeah, I know what I'm talking about.

ROFL, give me a break, you came INTO this thread with partisan attacks. in fact, you come into most threads in that manner. and no, you really don't. tell the rest of the story about that hannity episode. i bet you won't, though. hannity doesn't always get things right, but there's always someone on to correct him when he twists things. and the editing splicing clips? that's called soundbites. show me a news network that does not do this. you know, you're so biased that it would be funny if it wasn't pathetic. your double standard of everything from sitting presidents and how they should be treated to the media and how it should report things is astounding.

oh, and DUDE! don't call me a dude. i'm very much a lady, and don't appreciate you referring to me as a male, nor do i appreciate the disrespect and condescension with which you say it.

This whole discussion is funny.

Can you imagine if Bush or anyone from his administration whined about the negative press he got from any of the networks?

Secondly, about Fox - yes, the majority of the anchors et al are Conservative leaning. However, they are often conducting interviews on topics with people representing both sides of the debate. Today I was in a place that had CNN on, and the host of the program was asking questions on controversial topics with guests who only represented one side of the debate.

See the difference?

anyone who truly cares about fairness will see the difference nebula! but when you say "anchors" i'm assuming you're referring to the journalists who have their shows, as opposed to the on-the-ground reporters, right?

Yes, I do - I didn't know if they were called anything else.

I can't tell what positions the ground reporters have.

e.d. hill, is she still at fox news? she was liberal.

I didn't know she was liberal . . . I never got that impression from listening to her.

But she's not there anymore. The word is she got booted for saying something against Obama that equated him to terrorism.

Anyway, I find it interesting that there wasn't an objection to my explaining how Fox is better at presenting both sides of the story that CNN is.

that would make him a whiner

This just in: Obama wins an Emmy for watching Fox News!

well if e.d. hill was not a liberal, than she was a conservative who supported abortion rights. i didn't usually listen to the morning show, but the one time i did, she was all up in arms defending abortion rights. that turned me off from her.

i guess for the most part, it's not possible to tell the leanings of the reporters anymore. the ones that i was thinking of now host their own shows LOL. the only way to really tell the political persuasion of the fox news reporters is if you were familiar with them from another news network before they got hired at fox.

and the reason (i know you don't need to hear this, but some people do!) that it's impossible for you to tell if a reporter is liberal or conservative on fox, is because fox has a policy that requires them to keep their personal biases out of their reporting! WOW, what a NOVEL concept! that's what makes the news on fox fair and balanced! the reporters don't prejudice their reports, and the talk show hosts always have a dissenting voice to make their case. maybe other news networks should try it!

FOX News has the double Standard.

9/12 Protests! Tens of thousands of people march on DC! Hours and hours of live coverage!

A few days ago! Tens of Thousands march in favour of Gay Rights, same place!

Less than four minutes of coverage, a live camera shot, from the roof of a building, from ABC News.

Same day, A protest that happened earlier in that day got a Satellite truck. Of course, that was about Little Kids singing about Obama. Not that there was anybody even there at the time. Twice the Coverage the Gay Rights Protests got.

oh, and DUDE! don't call me a dude. i'm very much a lady, and don't appreciate you referring to me as a male, nor do i appreciate the disrespect and condescension with which you say it.

I will use the word "Dudette" from now on when I need a pronoun that needs a surprised tone.

you can call me LadyC. i don't appreciate dude or dudette.

i'm amazed that there are people in this world that think that school children being brainwashed and indoctrinated to worship at the feet of any president is acceptable. it doesn't matter if not a living soul was around to see it or protest, it is detrimental to our children! you don't care now, but i bet if they had been singing about bush, you'd have been all over it.

so tell me, how much news coverage did cnn, abc, cbs or nbc give that story? huh?

don't talk to me about double standards unless you are going to be the arbitrator of FAIRNESS... something which you are incapable of being.

Obama is a hyper-narcissist...everything is always about HIM

This personality trait is found in the worst dictators in the history of the world from Nebuchadnezzar to Hitler, from Pharoah to Stalin....

I don't think America realizes how much trouble we are actually in. The horrible steps he is taking today are designed for the completion of a much worse agenda in the near future.

I shudder to think of what that might be....

I saw a report somewhere that Obama never uses "we" when talking about the work the administration is doing. George F. Will, in a recent speech that was 13 paragraphs long, counted Obama using "I" 28 times, and since He has been elected has used "I" or "me" something like 1,200 times and has never used "we" "our" or "us" in acknowledging the "team" that is working for him.

Oh, for Pete's sake! Are there really people so petty and bored they sit around counting 'I's and 'me's in speeches? I used 'I' about 500 times today.....should I be labeled a subversive? Now...that's 502......

B.E. doesn't care about any of that...he's Canadian. Or should I say he's not really INVOLVED in any of that. He's in the peanut gallery.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
