Greetings RWBOYD,

When the trump of God sounds the dead in Christ will rise first and then we that are alive and remain shall be caught up in the twinkle of an eye. Then begins the tribulation periord

Here is the "resurrection" of the dead:

Revelation 11:12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

And here are those "that are alive and remain" - IOW the "remnant":

Revelation 11:13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Now take a look at this:

1 Thessalonians 4:14-15 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

We see that the "resurrection" occurs and then the Lord will "bring with him" those saints, then those who are still alive, who have not been slaughtered by the beast, will be caught up with THEM.

You have bought into a fairy tale, but all you have to do is read what the scriptures have to say and let the Holy Spirit do the leading. Start with Matthew 24.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

What do you think about this- the virgins with no oil, left to go get some, right? When they came back, the bridgroom had already come and gone. In other words, they were still there on earth, left behind, to go through the Tribulation otherwise, how could have they come BACK with oil?

Any thoughts?

Dear Whomever,

Instead of looking for a book WRITTEN by a knowledgeable MAN to gain understanding about pre-mid-post etc. why don't you go to the "source" and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you unto all wisdom and understanding? It amazes me that so many would prefer to follow a man instead of Christ. Man is fallible, Christ is NOT!

Greetings Prince Charming,

Sometimes you have to be careful with "parables". It is more important to look at HOW they were interpreted. It appears that only the Lord's disciples were given insight into the parables. As for those who did not follow Christ they looked at them as inane "riddles". So look at the following verse:

Matthew 25:12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

Do you see a similarity between this verse and the following?

Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me,

Jesus also said:

Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Further references are:

Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Luke 12:40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

So I don't believe the understanding comes from the terms bride, marriage or oil, but in the interpretation the Lord gives.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

I was just wondering if anyone could recommend some good authors/books that debate between pre, post, and mid tribulation rapture. I keep changing my mind about which I lean towards and would appreciate a scholars point of view that has scripture to back it up. Thanks for your help!

(As I have stated in a different discussion): The Bible clearly teaches that we believers who have accepted Christ before the Great Tribulation will not be on this earth during that period of time. Take a look at this verse written to the church in Philadelphia: "Because you have kept My command to persvere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth" (Revelation 3:10). A similar passage is found in 1 Thessalonians 1:10. Also, 1 Thessalonians 5 speaks of a secret coming, yet Revelation 1:7 says "Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen." Obviously, it cannot be a secret coming if every eye will see Him, so the only conclusion is that there will be two separate comings, one of these as we know as the Rapture, and the other known as the Revelation. My last and most important point is this: Matthew 24:44 states that He is coming at an hour that we don't expect. This does not allow for a Mid-Trib, or Post-Trib rapture, because it would mean that we would very well know when He is coming (either in the middle of the seven years, or at the end of them). This ONLY allows for a Pre-Trib rapture. Well that's why I believe that the Rapture is the next event to happen in the Biblical timeline.

Greetings JS,

Obviously, it cannot be a secret coming if every eye will see Him, so the only conclusion is that there will be two separate comings,

1 Thess 4:13-18

If such was the case then there must also be TWO resurrections of the dead in Christ, because the "rapture" of the living SHALL NOT precede the "resurrection of the dead".

Please let scripture interpret scripture and stop listening to "men's" lies.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
