Hey

I do not know the lady who was your roommate. However, could I venture to say that just because she is a Christian doesn't mean that the odd feeling you get in the house isn't coming from her? I have met many 'Christians' who, I feel the spirit of God telling me to watch myself, guard myself, don't give yourself an opportunity to be alone or around them very long.

My best friends roommate used to do the same thing. She would come home and as soon as the door opened and she walked through, she would be casting out demons and spirits etc.....my friend just looked at her like :) . I saw her one day. Seriously, that house was prayed over, anointed, and all party's inside were Christians including the owners upstairs. I think they were also the only owners of the house.

Could be an object in the home, could be a spirit attached to someone, or even something previously in the house. in any case, do what you can and the rest? Leave to God. Victory is his!! In perfect love there is no fear. If God is in your home, perfect love drives out all fear. If you are still sensing something.....no matter how hard it is to do.....maybe you need to move.

just an idea. The Lord will direct you.

One other thing?

Anyway, I just wanted to see if something like this has ever happened to any of you and if you think it is of God or not. I would assume it is of God however it kinda threw me off because even though we would pray over the house I could still sense a evil presence in the house.

Just because something like a cross appears? Doesn't mean it is of God though. Remember, Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light. how? Remember he was one once.......

Could it also be that she could have been worshipping Tammuz the cross-god. Crosses were used many years before Yeshua was sacraficed on one. The roman soldiers of Yeshuas day worshiped Tammuz.

We as believers adopted the cross as our icon so to speak, after Yeshuas death on it. But for hundreds of years before Messiah came it was an icon of pagan worship.

Im very careful about woshipping the cross, I worship Yeshua! Our savior truly went thru a lot to save us, blessed be His name forever.

Matt 17:19-21

19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, "Why could we not cast it out?" 20 And He said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it shall move; and nothing shall be impossible to you. 21["But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting."]  NASB

Not all demons are alike and not of the same authority. Some take serious prayer and fasting to get to move on. Before you confront a demon make sure of your own readiness in the Lord. When you feel the Spirit telling you to confront the demon do it with confidence that the Lord has authority over it and tell it to go, and it will.

However, be sure that the Spirit is leading you in ot the battle for it is Him that deals with the demon and not you. So if you are not sure the Spirit is leading you to confront it, I'd leave it alone.

And if at first you don't succeed, Fast and Pray until it's gone, for once you start that battle the thing won't leave you alone until the Spirit runs it off.

I've heard about the crosses of light appearing. See below:

First cross of light

The first cross of light appeared in 1988. "Last weekend," the Pasadena Star News wrote on 27 May, "residents reported seeing a cross shining through a bathroom window of an apartment in El Monte." Eye-witness Mona LaVine stated she saw: "A cross of a pale golden light -- and simply beautiful." Margaret Romero, owner of the place, had the glass replaced by a neighbor

When confronting evil always use the Lords name with the power and authority given you. Satan is a defeated foe, and he knows who defeated him.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
