Seeing A Name

Thanks OpenlyCurious, but this wasn't a dream. It was when I was wide awake. I had a vision and now I believe I know what the vision means. And although I get what you are saying about being confused, I wasn't confused by the vision but by what it could mean when I heard you give the peice of the puzzle. Also remember that the words says "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter." (Proverbs 25:2)

Nebula, you made a great point. The key to the answer was the question was asking "why on the door post"... this is what the vision means. The Israelites when they were commanded by God to put blood on their door post the destroyer would pass over their house and not harm them. Well.. at the time when I had this vision, I was really worried about this friend of mine, because I have learned more about my friend I was worried for the state of salvation because even though this person accepted Christ at one time, they seem to not to have a deep intimacy with God. I was looking at the outworks of that person. In fact I pleaded with God that this person does not turn away from Him and that they would return to their true love.

Now the meaning of the vision. The blood that the Israelites applied was on the outside of the their doors. However, the name I saw written was:

1. Written on the inside of door signaling safety. So this person is protected.

2. It was written as I said in the most beautiful written I've ever seen in my life, it looked like Heavenly writing (reference to book of life)

3. The name was written upward. Again I believe this is signaling that this person is safe and going to Heaven after there time on Earth here and I need not worry about them.

Thanks for helping me everyone, I really appreciate it and now I feel just this supernatural peace over the vision. I couldn't get it without ALL of you helping me!!
