I asked in another thread, but it might be nice to brainstorm our ideas together.

Other than debating here on Worthy, what else can we do that will have an impact?

Prayer....

Speaking with our own congregation (this topic rarely seems to come up in mine)

Anything else?

Sadly I would have to say educating people on Jesus origins (the kids around here have no idea He was a Jew). I went through a lot with my own son when I heard him say something one day.

This march might be a way to bring this problem to the attention of those who think it no longer exists, but I fear for the violence which is bound to erupt along the way. Neo-Nazis, KKK, Aryan Brotherhood are probably preparing in earnest. I remember when there was a "Jewish" march in Skokie, IL many years ago which met with violence. I hope the police are ready.

As for how to combat it, I think education and familiarization are the ways to go.

:noidea:

Hi andy :24:

This came to mind :24:

Rom 11:26 and so all Israel shall be saved: even as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer; He shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Rom 11:27 And this is my covenant unto them, When I shall take away their sins.

All the Antisemitism in the Universe will not prevent the Lord from saving his people,

a fact for which I am grateful since I am of Semitic heritage.

As for us doing something?

Well....hm...what can we do?... turning hearts to the Messiah.

Those who hate the Creator will also hate his people, nothing we can do about this.

This might sound odd to some. However, my opinion is that the people of this world do not hate the Jewish people because they are Semites, but

the Jewish people are hated by the people of this world because the Jewish people are God's people. Israel (God contended).

Lucifer hates his Creator, and the Creator's people, be they Jewish, or followers of the Messiah.

Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast down to the earth, he persecuted the woman that brought forth the man child.

Rev 12:14 And there were given to the woman the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness unto her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

Rev 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth after the woman water as a river, that he might cause her to be carried away by the stream.

Rev 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

Rev 12:17 And the dragon waxed wroth with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, that keep the commandments of God, and hold the testimony of Jesus:

The sad fact is that even people who ought to know better (those who say they follow the teachings of the Messiah) walk hand in hand with he enemy of our Lord. In my opinion these people never really bothered to read the Scripture. They just attend services...feeling all fuzzy and righteous for having gone to Church. They carry their Bibles like a fetish...a good luck charm, not knowing what is really written inside.

Sorry... I do not wish this to be contentious.

What I really wish to say;

those who believe in the Messiah need education in the teaching of the Messiah,

and those who do not believe in the Messiah will always hate everything to do with the Messiah and his people.

There is nothing we can do about this.

Rom 11:26 and so all Israel shall be saved: even as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer; He shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

I realise that people will always hate the Jews, but that doesn't mean we should sit idly by. I disagree with the notion however that people who don't support israel are pew warmers. I know many wonderful God fearing people who are either ignorant of Israel, or who have been taught in error.

Please tell me you're funnin' with me. They are there, they usually don't hang out in public with their paraphenalia showing, but they are there. One of the strangest places the Klan is found (it surprised me, anyway) is Rising Sun, MD. Plus there are roads and buses and trains to DC from everywhere. Don't fool yourself, pro-White groups are alive and well in lots of places other that Mississippi.

OK, I just never heard of them, or heard of them making any noise or causing problems.

Well, consider yourself blessed that you haven't. :24:

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
