In a January 27 report, the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs stated that massive US weapons sales to Arab rivals in the Middle East have eroded Israel's military superiority over its neighbors. The report said over the last year, the United States refused to approve any major Israeli weapons requests. At the same time, the White House has approved more than $10 billion worth of arms sales to Arab League states, including Egypt, Kuwait, Jordan, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

All this enmity between the Obama administration and Israel could be contrived. The U.S. could be distancing themselves from Israel before Israel strikes Iran. Just a thought.

That thought crossed my mind as well, but the "O" and the rest of his traitorous crew aren't that swift, IMHO. Somebody like Reagan, now, he'd have probably done something like that. It would make sense from a tactical standpoint.

Good point. And it's happened before. Most notably when President Reagan was 'furious' over the Israeli strike on Iraq's nuclear facility. As many have said, Reagan knew exactly what they were going to do and when. It's all about keeping the balance in that part of the world. And oil, of course. What they want the world to see is out there; what they don't, is done behind closed doors, no media, no photos. Time will bear this out.

No it is not contrived... at all. If Israel strikes Iran in the near future, oil prices will go through the roof and that will be a major drag on our economy at time when unemployment is at an all time high and people who are employed are strapped for cash and having to cut back significantly. It is also not far fetched to imagine some of the resulting violence spilling in to Iraq and putting our troops in even greater danger

I am really hoping that nonviolent resolution to Iran's nuclear ambitions can be reached.
