I sure will not be proud to be an American, when that day  comes, Actually I plan on "moving on up" before then!

Shaloam, Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem, it will be my eternal home.

Oh Yah!  USA will be forced to allow Israel to deal with issues on their own... not that Israel needs a big brother or that USA will "turn its back"..  In recent days the mideast (Arabia) has proposed a colition to bring peace in the middle east.  the terms to pull out of the west bank... Israel is not about to pull out of the west bank thus the new colition will be forced to band together.

Will the USA stand against all the Arab states in favour of Israel... on paper yes, in prayers yes, but not in an all out pre armaggedon outbreak.

My understanding is that a war will happen or atleast be threatening - in order for the man of peace (antichrist) to arise with purpose and support.  He will thwart the pending danger, seemingly letting USA of the nonsupport hook and Israel from what may appear to be a sudden destruction. The other nations will just be happy to be a colition with a common foe and what appears to be a messianic hope.

just some thoughts

This is just a thought but don't you think we need to be out of the way so when God protects Israel all the glory will be his?

Love in Christ

I read an article in today's paper entitled Putting Heat on Israel.  Here is one part that really caught my eye.

----------------------------------------------------

In addition, the Bush administration is pressing the Sharon government to lift travel restrictions on Arafat, who has been confined to Ramallah by Israeli forces, so he can attend the Arab League summit in Beirut on March 27-28.

There, Saudi officials are expected to discuss a peace proposal floated by Crown Prince Abdullah in which his kingdom would normalize relations with Israel if it returned to its pre-1967 war borders.

----------------------------------------------------

These pre-1967 War borders do not include Jerusalem.  The second day of this summit is the first day of Passover.  Do you really think Israel will give up Jerusalem willingly?  Either way, this will be a very sad Passover for Jerusalem, indeed.  My heart is on the floor.

Sha'alu Shalom Yerushalayim (Pray for the peace of Jerusalem).

Psalm 122:6
