Ahh Honey Dear. God is always forgiving. The important thing is that you recognize your weakness and/or struggle and are trying to overcome it. We are inherently sinners, that is why Jesus died on the cross- The Forgiveness of our Sins!!

Now this doesn't mean that we have free reign to do whatever we want. It means that we need to make a direct effort to over come the Devils hand in our lives. You are obviously making that effort in overcoming your struggles. Keep digging into the word sister and God will give you strength!!

God Bless You,

Amy

p.s. The could be some sort of ministry that you could start from home, whether it be a pen pal or something else. Look to God and your local church for some guidance.

We are all human, and prone to falling down. God will always forgive you for your sins. He knows you are trying. Talk with God in prayer, tell Him how you feel about all of this. Let Him take the burden from you. Trusting in God is hard for most of us. He knows that too. Keep trying, and know the Lord loves you still. He will never leave you, nor forsake you.

Honey - don't be so hard on yourself!

Fear is not something easy to overcome. I'm not sure what is behind phobias, unless a demonic stronghold? or a subconscious defense to some trauma?

Fear is a feeling. It takes work to act against your feelings.

I don't know if this is a phobia, but I somehow developed a fear of making phone calls. I hate calling people! It's only after I feel comfortable with someone that I feel OK calling them. The best I can figure is that it stems from my insecurity (what if I call the person at a bad time?), my problems with speaking (I stumble over words so bad when talking), what if I call the wrong number? (fear of embarrassment), etc.

It's pretty bad taking 10 minutes to work myself up to making a simple phone call!

I don't know what's going on with you, but I've heard the best way to overcome phobias is to tackle the problem a little at a time. Is agrophobia the fear of going out? Well, step one could be to open your front door and leaving it open. After being comfortable with that, stand in the doorway for a little while. After feeling comfortable with that, take one step outside and stand there a while. Do this as many times as necessary until you feel OK with being one step out the door. Then slowly increase the number of steps you take out the door. Graduate from there by actually closing the front door when you step out (and if you need to stand by the door when you do this, it's OK - because that's a big step to stand outside with the door closed!) Just keep at it with small steps like this.

And of course, there's also Scripture. Just repeat to yourself outloud those Scriptures about trust and not fearing. Read Psalm 91 - or even as you take these steps, have your Bible open to Psalm 91 and reading it as you are standing outside the door, or whatever.

Does this sound doable?

Honey,

I know exactly where you are coming from, for I too am experiencing much of the same thing, but try not to get too discouraged. As someone very dear to me told me this morning... "Remember the price Jesus paid. Even when all the ones he came to save spat upon him and cursed him, the most he ever did was say 'Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do.'"

Honey, we can fail God many times, but as we both need to learn...God truly does love us very much no matter what crimes we may have commited. The Lord knows our hearts. He knows our very souls.

Fear is something every person must face, including us Christians. Think of Daniel when he was cast into the lion's den upon his continious praying to the Lord even after his king passed a law against it. Surely if any of us had been within the den we would have been afraid, I doubt he was not. Still even within that frightening moment, he had faith and the Lord protected him. Surely you will be able to find such faith in your heart as well. Perhaps also you will come to forgive yourself of whatever crimes you feel you are committing against God and find yourself as special as he does.

We have a very loving Heavenly Father looking down upon us. Indeed we truly are blessed that he would send his one and only son to die for us as well in order to forgive us all our sins. Keep your chin up Honey, and keep the faith.

With Love In Christ,

Danielle

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
