See also Gen. 10:5. The Gentiles survived Noah's flood.

So Noah and his family were not the only survivors of the flood?

Of course -- look around and see all the races of people.

The Bible does not support this.

Then how do you explain this?

Genesis 7

21 And all flesh died that moved on the earth: birds and cattle and beasts and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man.

22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, all that was on the dry land, died.

23 So He destroyed all living things which were on the face of the ground: both man and cattle, creeping thing and bird of the air. They were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah and those who were with him in the ark remained alive.

Hence, the Bible confirms that all races of mankind survived Noah's flood.

Check out the word 'earth' in Hebrew -

H776

ארץ

'erets

eh'-rets

From an unused root probably meaning to be firm; the earth (at large,
or partitively a land
): - X common, country, earth, field, ground, land, X nations, way, + wilderness, world.

The goal of the fallen angels was to corrupt the blood line to Christ. The fallen angels were in Satan's camp in the first age and were doing his bidding in this second age. Hence, the fallen angels, and their offspring, would have been located within the lands of the Adamic race -- not the other races of people.

So, Noah's flood was not of the entire planet like the flood in Gen. 1:2. It was only necessary to drown those 'giants' [offspring of the fallen angels] of Gen. 6.

Only 8 of the Adamic race survived Noah's flood. The rest of the races survived just fine [Gen. 10:5 and by inspection today].

Genesis 7

17 Now the flood was on the earth forty days. The waters increased and lifted up the ark, and it rose high above the earth.

18 The waters prevailed and greatly increased on the earth, and the ark moved about on the surface of the waters.

19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly on the earth, and all the high hills under the whole heaven were covered.

20 The waters prevailed fifteen cubits upward, and the mountains were covered.

The entire planet was covered with water. Everything was killed off. Everything except Noah and his family.

Read chapters 7 and 10 from beginning to end. Then read chapter 11 very carefully.

The offspring of the fallen angels would climb the hills in the land to escape the flood. The waters covered those hills by 15 cubits {22.5 to 30 feet}.

Care to elucidate as to what "earth" and "mountains" the bible speaks about? Besisde the obvious as to where the ark came to rest?

As I have demonstrated in previous posts, the English renderings by the translators were not appropriate given the fact that all of the non-Adamic races of people survived Noah's flood in addition to the 8 Adamic souls in the ark. Hence, the terms 'earth' and 'mountains' in the manuscripts are not what we commonly think of in English. The Hebrew words in the manuscripts are better rendered as 'lands' and 'hillsides' in modern English vernacular.

The Bible gives a description of the location of the Garden of Eden; however, it does not specify the land where Noah lived prior to this flood event. Over 1500 years elapsed from Adam and the woman getting booted out of the Garden to Noah's flood. The Bible does not state whether the Adamic people migrated to other 'lands' prior to the flood.

Hence, there is nothing definitive in scripture to establish Noah's location prior to the flood.

You may be aware of recent events in the news regarding the possible discovery of the ark on Mt. Ararat in Turkey. Certainly, there has been much speculation as to this mountain as the location of the ark. Personally, it is my opinion that the ark was already discovered in Iran. I saw a documentary on the History Channel regarding the discovery of some ancient, non-native, wood fragments in the mountains located in western Iran. IMO, this discovery was Noah's ark.

Blessings watchman, but I must say that you have not "demonstrated" more than your own opinion, merged with some scripture in your posts, and you do it again (admittedly not from scripture this time) with your comment on the "discovery" of the ark in western Iran.

I applaud your zeal for seeking the truth, but caution that we can read too much into scripture at the expense of the truth (who is Jesus)

As Turtellian said "we prefer to be less wise in the scriptures, than to be wise against them". Spoken over 1400 years ago, but holding true today.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
