Before we start here, I am not saying, "thus sayeth the Lord." Okay. I'm sharing.

Last night I had a dream. When I awoke I rebuked it and wnent back to sleep. I actually felt kind of attacked after the dream, which I rebuked, and went back to sleep thereafter. Let me explain attacked. I felt as though the dream were somehow wrong and that I should feel guilty about it or something, that I should worry. That was the thought terying to invade my mind. Know what I mean? However, I can't control my dreams and I certainly didn't ask for it. I also felt no anxiety whatsoever.

I prayed about it this morning and wanted to shae it here

IMO the priest was the false church, who have denied the blood of Christ, wereas Dave you were a blood brought saint of God (Acts 20:28; I Peter 1:18-19). This false church teaches the goodness of man, humanism, so they are powerless again the enemy. The rest of this is really just guest work on my part. Satan and his minister are transformed into angels of light. (II Corinthians 11:14-15) so I believe this could be another false religion of the world, which the world sees as more respectable than the true Christian faith. The saints get the victory over this false religion so Satan will bring a even more respectable false religion to the forefront to try to deceive. I think your message from Revelation 12:11 is a warning to the True Church that we will suffer shortly.

I think of how we are always trying to "battle Satan" with arguments.

When we should be fighting with the blood of the Lamb.

Totally agreed... this is what I believe it was pointing to.. but why Dave, did you feel like you needed to rebuke the dream? It had a good lesson in it...?

What I said, I stand by. Matthitjah, do you believe that Satan was present in your room or your body or somehow sent you some evil thoughts?

I've had spritual attacks in the form of dreams prior. Therefore, I felt that this was another one of those. However, when I began to rebuke it I became confused and that's when an attack on mind came to try and fill my mind with a spirit of doubt on ths issue. At least that is what I've come to after prayer. I should not have rebuked it. I should have prayed and asked which direction it came from. This has happened to me prior. I assumed rather than asked.

Dave I'm encouraged for you. Did you get any encouragement from the fact that you immediately recognised the enemy for what it was, even if it was wrapped up nicely and appeared 'good looking'?

As for the guilt, I'm a little lost on that one.

It's so true, we can't win any spiritual battle with words. Maybe we should all type less and pray more?

And I agree with Char, you are doing the Lord's will, and about to step into it even further!
