Yes, Calamity, thank you for this thread. It has been so good seeing the family reconcile. But, along with that, it has opened up barriors that have been holding back the true work of the believers.

It has come to my attention that we can do or say things that deeply hurt others and be totally unaware. Sometimes our good intentions, words, actions, hurt others and we don't even realize it. This has happened to me and a dear sister. It made me think about how our words are permanent, our actions forceful. Nothing that we say or do will be overlooked in the end. Nothing. How humbling in that. May we all strive to be the arms and legs of our Lord, to allow HIM to shine through us, to die to self daily.

Neb, I'm sorry I was short with you in the Senior Forum. I wasn't upset with you, but with the situation. Instead of laying my frustration down at the feet of my Lord, I spoke with arrogance toward you. Please, forgive me sis. And as a sidenote, I think you are an amazing woman. I highly admire your knowledge and your insight. You have a way with people that is coveted by me. When I grow up, I want to be just like you. :P

Anyone else that I have offended, I ask your forgiveness as well. My big ole mouth gets me in trouble more times than I like to count.

I need to apologize to ServingHim. Our discussions got very heated on some of the Catholic threads and instead of showing the love of Christ, I was rude and judgemental. I haven't seen her on the boards lately, but I do hope that she sees this. I am truly sorry.

I think this topic is wonderful and represents the true essence of Christianity. Christ sacrificed himself for our sins so that the Father may forgive us.

In my life, I have hurt some people and I have been hurt by many. One thing I have learned about those experiences is that if one publicly apologizes to another and yet still holds resentment in their heart, that apology means nothing and I believe they will be judged harsher by God than if they had never apologized at all.

In the world, dealing with non-christians, this attitude of publicly apologizing for show and still holding grudges or hard feelings in your heart is prevalent. But on a Christian website, I would think this attitude is extremely hypocritical.

As I said earlier, I am speaking from experience. For those that have apologized, I hope that apology is sincere because I believe that this is one act that demonstrates to the Father the true nature of ones heart.

God Bless Worthy Boards and God Bless those that have asked for forgiveness from the heart.

WHAT???!!! ;):):b:

(I'm not "big" - I'm only 5'1''! :P )

Hey, I couldn't resist it! You're posts are generally very insightful and you make a lot of sense. But, hey, the truth remains if I remember from some post long months back, you're older than I am, so, hey, you're my sis in Christ, so you're my big sister, LOL!!!! :D

The Klingon lives to offend... :alien:

Fortunately I'm just a fraud with rubber forehead ridges. :)

Seriously, if I've offended anyone I don't know who, so I'll guess. Apologies to Bob Triez if my PM was offensive. I know you never replied to the second one but if that's why then I apologize. Of course, you may have just decided it wasn't something that needed a reply.

Apologies to the trivia king if any of my comments in an old King James version thread were offensive. Same goes to any others in that thread who share the KJVO view that I disagreed with, perhaps a little too zealously.

And to those in any other threads in Controversial Topics, Latest News, Election 2004, etc. where I may have defended my position too zealously.

I think that's all. After all I don't post here all that much, nor do I visit the chat room.

This comes up as I'm watching Star Trek on Sci-Fi Channel! Is someone else watching it too?

Dunno, but I'm not at this time. Besides, those Klingons were just wrong. I mean in the original series they just didn't look like Klingons. :) Fortunately they corrected that oversight in the movies when they had the budget to do so. :t:

For those who apologized to me, apology accepted.

I'd also like to apologize to everyone for coming on to worthy like a bull in a China shop. I've undergone somewhat of a "change" in my Christian and political worldview in the past year or so and I'm a little "touchy", not quite comfortable in my new "skin" yet.

I'm sorry if I offended anyone, in any way. I was thinking about leaving; thought I would leave, but for some reason I'm still here....hmmm?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
