Can anyone one of you's provide me with a verse from the bible without fabricating it, that Jesus himself says "I am God, worship me" directly without any implications? No, you cannot, since it is not apparent in the bible.

Revelation 5

11 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, 12 saying with a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!" 13 And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: "Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!" 14 Then the four living creatures said, "Amen!" And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever.

Revelation 7

9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!" 11 All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying: "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, Thanksgiving and honor and power and might, Be to our God forever and ever. Amen."

Sounds like they are worshiping Jesus in Heaven to me!

It would still be nice if Jamal could have stayed around on this forum.  He seemed to be an earnest and articulate young man.  I admired him for his moral courage and his personal integrity, even though I could not endorse his religious beliefs.

We should welcome alternative ideas from time to time, if for no other reason than to see how other people view things.  Otherwise, Christians end up preaching to the choir (so to speak), instead of seeking out people and claiming this lost world for the Kingdom of God.  They will know us by our love, and one way to show genuine love to other people is to allow them to tell their stories.

Careful about what you receive, you know?

Rev. 2:14-16

But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.

Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.

Jamal,

(Sorry if I spelled your name wrong, it was a page or two back)

Are you still here or have you left? I started the thread and I'm sorry I'm so busy with work, church and my 3 kids, that I don't get to devote a lot of time here.

If you are still hanging around I had a thing or two to say, one being, I'm sorry for some here not making you welcome.

I'm thrilled to have you here.

I'll check back in a day or so.

Blessings,

Sabra

Jamboy,

I would have thought better of you christians. Apart from christianbear144, each and one of you's has disparaged me and my faith and you call yourselves christians? Glory be to Allah!

Glory be to Jehovah who is never called Allah in the Holy Word that precedes Islam. And Praise Jesus Christ for paying the penalty of sin. It's difficult not to criticize your faith. It's Muslim's who are committing abominations worldwide in holy war. All done in the name of Allah. This is the religion that the Holy Word of Jehovah, God Almighty, has warned us about. In Revelation, they are warned to "get out of her!" And you say " glory to Allah?"

There are so many things which i would most dearly like to refute, but there are so many and will only do some. Since I cannot post quranic verses or anything which may see "incorrect", according to the traveller, I will not do so since it will get erased just like my other post.

I believe there are 123 verses in the koran that directly refer to persecuting infidels. There's very little unity within the many sects of Islam. There is hardly agreement on anything. But that will soon change as they unify and fulfill much bible prophecy.

I can admit that the church is also not well unified. However, christians are not trying to convert the world by the sword. Muslim's are. Nearly all of the atrocities committed in the name of Allah is done by them who are deceived that they will receive greater heavenly rewards. The greater the abomination the more Muslim's rejoice and dance in the streets. They are drunk with the wine of their fornication.

Firstly, I love Jesus (pbuh) so much to a certain extent, that I would not do anything which would upset him, such as blaspheming or worshipping anyone besides God.

But do you love Jesus more or less than Mohammed? It would upset Jesus if you even equated Jesus with Mohammed. If you worship Allah, you are not worshiping the one true God. Allah is not God. He created nothing. He provides no forgiveness of sin.

If you christians love Jesus (pbuh) also, you should do likewise. Can anyone one of you's provide me with a verse from the bible without fabricating it, that Jesus himself says "I am God, worship me" directly without any implications? No, you cannot, since it is not apparent in the bible.

Some churches teach that if you don't believe in a triune God you're lost. I can't agree. I don't accept the trinity doctrine the way the hardline christian conservatives teach it. I believe Jesus is all that God is but that God is yet greater. There were things that Jesus said that He didn't know, and that the Father is greater than the Son.

In the book of Revelation, Jesus merciful, faithful and true, who will come to destroy those who destroy the earth, is worshiped in Heaven before and after the seals are opened.

You people say that I need to accept Jesus (pbuh), it is too late for that, I already accepted him with utter sincerity. You may say the Allah is false and Islam is false, but I cannot make you believe so otherwise, since your hearts are sealed from truth. Once you are able to acknowledge that you are enable to explore Islam and what it says (without going to anti-islamic sites which are many) you can lift the veil from your hearts and be open to the truth.

You must accept Jesus for what He did on the cross, and believe in His resurrection. The cross is the penalty paid, resurrection is the gift. Repentance in the form of apostasizing from Islam to christianity is the only acceptable means of salvation. Jehovah will have no God's before Him, and Jesus, not Mohammed, is the way the truth and the life.

There is no truth in conversion by the sword. Whether it is done by christians or Muslim's. Christians, ie. Catholic's, no longer convert by persecution. We no longer burn witches and cats. But Muslim's burn churches, villages, homes, and skyscrapers. Your heart is open to the evils of Islam if you remain within it. Yes, Christians really are bigots. We believe there is only one way to God. And that there is only One who is called the anointed One. Jesus!

Most questions, expect probably the Unitarians, have strayed from the monotheistic path.

You can carry on belittling Islam and the Holy prophet Muhammad (pbuh) but you shall see the truth once you die. You cannot say, "Now I believe, let me go back to the world and have another chance". No soul is granted respite, your chance is now. One of you christians say the Muhammad (pbuh) and his followers are in hell fire, there is one thing that I have to say to you, May God guide you and bless you.

Jesus will be your Judge. Muhammed's teachings are not in accord with the Holy scriptures in the bible. Your salvation is dependent upon accepting the Jesus mentioned in the Holy bible as above all. All others books are false god's and false prophets. Jehova God demands it!

I could disprove with ease many of the concepts of christian beliefs but I know that it will get eliminated by the sites owner.

Islam should be banned from this country. They teach to hate and inspire to kill. All over the earth where there is civil war, ethnic cleansing, suicide bombings etc. it is all caused by the hands of Muslim's. In the name of Allah, the merciful. How foolish for someone to follow the same god of those who commit such disgusting things. We stopped David Korech in his tracks.

It's time to stop the spread of Islam! And proclaim Jesus, the King of kings and Lord of lords.

He will destroy Islam when He returns. You must get out of her to be saved. You must repent of counterfeit religion and follow the true God and Christ.

Instead of you christians trying to preach to me with nice words and wisdom, you the opposite.

It is manifest that I am not wanted on this site, so if you want me to leave, just say so and I will.

Instead of supporting the teachings of your religion, trying to convert the world by their unkind acts of terrorism, do the opposite. Accept what only the bible teaches and what Jesus Christ has done about the sin problem we both have!

We see who shall prosper on the inevitable day-The Day of Judgement.

I prophesy in the name of Jesus Christ that Jesus will be your Judge!

Thank you for your time and have a nice day.

You too,

Reverend Turmoil

Jamal,

In case you are still reading:

I'm sure it is very hard to figure out what exactly is Christian with the United States as an example. I would venture to say that although this country is stated as being Christian, it is a very poor example of the Christian life exemplified by Jesus Christ.

Christianity should be summed up in two commandments: 1. Love God 2. Love your neighbor.

That is it. Do all christians do this? Do all people do this? No.

As a Christian that is my goal and I will say here that despite all of the critism, I am open to any and all discussion you may have regarding my faith. I will listen to you with open ears and try to answer any questions you may have.

I believe that we all have a voice inside that tells us right from wrong. I was raised in a cult and although I was taught to believe and live the way I was taught, something deep inside of me knew it wasn't truth.

If you would like to read my testimony you can click at the end of my post and follow the link at my website.

If you prefer, you can e-mail me or PM me and we can correspond without all of this negativity.

I pray for your people. Do you do that for mine? I remember when the war started in Afghanistan I was so concerned for the refugees that were misplaced and I was so burdened in my heart for them. I cried out to God to please send someone to send them food and while I was praying I "saw" some yellow things falling from the sky and I heard God say, "I will do it."

A couple of days later I was watching the news and I saw the airplanes flying over the refugee camps dropping yellow packets of food and I was so excited that God had answered my prayer!

I know that God loves you just as much as He does me and I understand His passion for you.

Again, I apologize for the harsh reception you have received. I do not share my faith with you by belittling yours. I respect you and will keep you in my prayers.

May God richly bless you and show you Himself.

Sabra

We should respect the Islamic faith, rather than denigrate and demonize it. Islam honors Jesus as a great prophet, second in importance only to Muhammad.

Respect it because it degrades and minimizes the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made on the cross so that I can spend an eternity with the Father in heaven? I don't think so.

And did not the apostle Paul say that he became all things to reach all men and women with the Gospel?

Reverend Turmoil states that Islam should be banned from this country.

The U.S. Constitution guarantees freedom of religion. Period.

The last poster insinuates that Christians are too tolerant. Maybe so, but it would be better than being too intolerant. Tolerance says that I will not harm you even if I disagree with you. Exactly what is wrong with that principle?

We don't need to learn about Islam. They need to know about Jesus. We will never become like them, but they have chance to become like us. Muslims have nothing to offer Christians, but we have the Words of Eternal LIfe to offer them.

All of this is, of course, true.

Myself, having belonged to a cult that I was deceived into believing was the one and only true religion, know and understand how the deceived mind works.

Thank God, that when I went to visit a evangelical church with my neighbor, I wasn't told that they had the truth and I was wrong. The members accepted me, listened to my garbage, told me what they believed and I was drawn to the Truth by their unconditional love towards me as a lost sinner. I was tolerated and it caused me to dig deeper to prove them wrong, which ultimately proved myself wrong.

What would have been the outcome if I had gone there and been told that "This is the only truth, you are wrong, you don't have anything to offer, we are right and you are wrong, end of story and if you don't accept that, then just leave"?

I'd still be in the cult.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
