One more thing about the Harlot and the seven heads, shiloh...

Lately I have had information practically dumped into my lap (in that I was not searching for it, but rather it came gradually from various unrelated sources) concerning the connections between Roman Catholocism and a variant ancient pagan religion.

The woman sits upon the seven mountains. Each of the empires I have listed as being referred to by this passage held to certain of the main tenets of this religion (though the names and many other specifics changed from culture to culture). Roman Catholocism is the product of this false religion using Christian names and imagery!

The Babylonian religion (the first open religious rebellion against God), the Assyrian religion, the Eqyptian religion, the Medo-Persian religion, the Greek religion, Roman paganism and Roman Catholocism...

They all bear similarities that are too big to be ignored. When the people were scattered at the Tower of Babel, they carried the blasphemous Babylonian religion with them, and Satan preserved it, with Roman Catholocism as the latest form.

Friends, what we see is indeed Mystery Babylon... she sits atop the seven mountains (both identifying Rome, and showing her connection with each of the great empires).

One day soon, she will become drunk with the blood of the saints, though she has already had more than a few sips from her golden chalice.

Satan isn't a creative guy. He always uses the same tactics... he just repackages them every now and then.

I almost wish it wasn't. If I didn't know that God's plan is perfect, that He is in complete control, and that He absolutely wins the battle...

It's enough to make a person sick at heart... if that person hasn't the Script-ures.

I love knowing how the movie ends... I really don't care for surprises.

Interesting... never thought about that!!  Can you elaborate some more on that George?

We all know that the final empire is a global empire, so it would make more sense that the United Nations or something coming out of the UN (remember it used to be called the League of Nations) be the means for controlling the world.

Everyone is focused on the EU, but the EU is Europe -- what about the rest of the world?

Rome is a major city in the UN along with New York and London.

For example, US Mission to the UN/ROME -- interesting on an official site it links the UN to Rome

The International Court is called -- Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. Official ICC site

The magazine, Israel Today early this year had an article talking about the United Nations perhaps moving it's headquarters to Babylon. Can you imagine if that happened?

I am watching the EU as well, but I'm keeping a closer eye on the UN.

Yes, that UN... :suspect:

I have considered the possibility that the RRE may end up being an evolved form of both the UN and the EU. Prophecy seems to be unfolding in both!

But yes, the RRE in its finished form will most probably be a world government. The fact that there are ten horns supports this... ten often signifies both law/government and completeness.

(*Note* - I am NOT trying to spiritualize Scripture, here. I believe that the number will literally come into play. It is just like the seven churches of Rev. 1-3... they were real, individual churches in Asia, but, as the number seven signifies, they also embody the churches from every single "era" in this, the dispensation of grace. )

That Idea sounds more realistic to me, 10 trading zones..another idea that was suggested was UNited States Of Europe. do you have any thoughts on this? please share ,God Bless Do you see U.S in Phrophecy? are we one of the young Lions?
