okay where is Wyguy on this one, I could have sworn this one was Wyguy bait...

I can't see Wyguy not getting involved here. I think I'd be disappointed.

I can't sleep at night unless I take a shower/bath and wash my hair. Even when we're out camping and it gets really cold, I still do the cold shower/bath or dip in the lake for a bubbly swim.

As for antiperspirant, I can't use it at all. Good deodorant for me, and that's just an antibacterial jell of some sort. About 15 or so years ago I got really allergic to latex, and at the same time to any product with aluminum that stays on the skin or is absorbed. Either the antiperspirant or latex makes me break out in a very painful bright red rash.

Either he's laughing so hard he can't type or he's busy and hasn't seen this thread. NO WAY would he miss an opportunity to wade into this one! :whistling:

Same for me. I have to shower before bed, and wash my hair (all two of them....sigh). The same happens to me with normal aluminum based deodorant but it takes a few days to start. I have one speed stick product I can use, and it is hard to find, so I buy it whenever I find it.

I especially can't sleep if I have dirty feet, even when camping.....

In days gone by I went without showering or bathing for up to two weeks at a time, and wore the same battle dress overalls, and rotated socks. Smelling pretty could get you killed. One had to smell like your surroundings......

I remember that too. . . Nothing quite like the "character" your clothing developed during that two week period in the middle of summer in a muggy climate! :o Can you say, "Biohazard?" :whistling:

And . . . yeah, where is wyguy on this one? :24:
