President Obama, reflecting on his party's historic losses in Congress, appealed Wednesday for both sides of the aisle to find "common ground" while continuing to stand by the policies that were used to hammer his party's candidates in the midterm election.

Too little too late. After the way he shut out and bullied anyone who opposed him, the american public is not in a mood to compromise with him. I heard him today say that the voters showed they didnt want obamacare reversed only tweaked, and for that he is willing to work with republicans. He is clueless about what the public wants. I think the vote showed americans want a full stop and reversal to what he has done.

Mr Obama, tear down your agenda!

Translation: The Republicans need to work with him and compromise with him. Translation: They need to go along with him and his agenda. If not, they are "obstructionists" and the party of "no".

Yeah, because he and his party are getting spanked.

The only ones getting spanked is the people. For politiciams it is an inconvenience.

Blessings

The problem being that if Republicans don't find some middle ground to actually get things done, then they won't accomplish anything, rather than just trying to prevent the Democrats from doing so.

If you want middle ground, say, "Aye."

If you don't want middle ground, say "Nay."

Good, then they will at least prevent further damage.
