Interesting view of history. It had a hand pump much like a bicycle pump. As I remember it took about 400 strokes to pump it up fully, but it's been a while since I came across that. Its an amazing gun... but it sounds a little less than a 22 when fired. So there was a loud crack because of its larger caliber when it fired! Just no smoke...
