That sounds WONDERFUL!!

As for hugs Like yours I've never experienced that And it sounds So Wonderful!!!, At times on the internet or on certain websites I would see Jesus Hugging a child in heaven and It brings me Great Joy, It has been over many years that I would say to Jesus over and over again, I am going to get that Hug. And I wait patiently until we as the Family of God will be together with Him in Heaven then, then finally I'm going to get it and I can't wait. I'll just have to wait, but the wait will be worth it.

God speaks to me all the time, although He has never spoken to me in an audible voice, He does speak to me with His sweet still small voice. God has always told me things or let me know beforehand when something bad was about to happen. It is a feeling that I get deep in my spirit that something is wrong and who it is and so I know from that, that the Lord wants me to pray and I do, but I never know what i am praying for til later on.

About a month ago I got a bad feeling about someone I knew when I went to bed one night and I couldn't get that person off my mind, so I just prayed. I knew something was wrong. The very next day, I found out that this person had fallen asleep that night and left the front door wide open. I don't know for sure what would have happened if I had not prayed, but I'm glad that I did.

Psychologists tell us that anyone who 'hears voices' is mentally ill. However, all psychologists hear a voice every moment that tells them to.. PUBLISH! PUBLISH! PUBLISH!

Awareness of the presence of God on a personal level would include communication with God. This is the promise of scripture... a rich dialog

with God. However, when one attempts to communicate what God has

told them, they must be careful not to present it as PROPHESY unless it

is 'scriptural'. That is, the BIBLE is the standard of proof against which the True Christian MUST judge all experience as valid, or not. THIS is where you are having problems when speaking to others about what you receive from God.

Also, humans have special 'filters' by which they comprehend all communications. These filters are constructed of their personal values and their cultural world view, and many other attitudes obtained in life. ALL of these will affect how you understand ANYTHING you receive. Interpretation is difficult to avoid for this reason. When God speaks to a person HE cuts through all of these filters... to speak to the heart. The evidence that it was indeed GOD and not our ego speaking to us, is in the results. The results must reflect scripture. Moses knew where to point the stick because God had told him what to expect when he pointed. Others who saw him point the stick and THEN something awesome happened (the sea parted) may have thought that Moses did it with the stick. Others may have had a correct understanding BECAUSE they knew what God had promised (His Word). Deliverance. Moses knew what to expect of God and he pointed the people to THAT... he did not point them at himself.

All of that sound knowledgable but I know well where my relationship stands with God, and as for others on this forum and quite possibly you, although I haven't heard as of yet your experiences with the Lord.

Science cannot prove the existence of God to the point where one develops a personal relationship with God. Science may prove it either through theory or by evidence of His existence as an Infinite omnipresent being. If your interested in trying to find a connection between God ans science there are many theories that would prove it, however it may not produce saving faith.

One must be very, very cautious of this because Science has led to false Doctrines from demons that have crept into the church in times past and has led many to damnation, such as Mary Eddy Baker and her cultic Christian Science. To me I can hear and speak with God as I would speak to one of my friends, and I have been casted out as schizoid and to me that makes me laugh and I laugh not because they think I'm Schizoid but because it is an absolute certainty to me that me and Him are BEST FRIENDS!

Several years ago i was going thru some very difficult times in my life. One afternoon, i was really in distress and laid prostrate on my kitchen floor crying out to God for His mercy in my situation. No one was home but me. Two weeks later at a prayer service at church, i went down the isle for prayer. Everytime the Pastor walked by me, laying his hands on others, but leaving me alone to pray.

Then this lady that I had never met came up out of the pews and approached me. She said I have a word from the Lord for you. Then she asked me if i believed in that sort of thing. I said well yes, what does He have to say?

She said , well I dont understand it but maybe you will. Then she gave me this word from God: "I have heard your cries for mercy while you laid low before me on the kitchen floor, ect.." I wont go into the rest of it, but let me tell you this, I might have had doubts in the past of whether He hears my prayers or not, but I do not doubt anymore.

I had told no one of my praying for mercy on the kitchen floor. Not even my husband. I did not hear the audiable voice of The Almighty, but He made known to me thru this dear lady that He heard me. Sometimes he does speak thru others.

He speaks to me everyday in His word, and thats enough for me. And now its such a pleasure and privlidge to talk to Him because I know that I know he hears our prayers. Do you remeber that old hymn "What a Friend we have in Jesus"?

When I was really little I use to have dreams that would come true.  As I grew older the dreams fated.  In my teen years I use to stand at my window and some times I would just talk to Him and others I would asks question.  At that time I would never hear Him.  This warm tingling feeling would start at the top of my head and work it's way down my body and I would just know the answer to my question.  That as well stopped.  I know it was because I'd become so engulf with this world that I forgot for a moment Who was more important.  About a year ago I came back home to Him and three times with in this year I've heard His voice.  The first time He was correcting me regarding something that I'd did wrong.  The other two He was comforting me.  His children do know His voice.  Isn't He amazing.

He sure is Amazing, but there are times when I sit alone with God and Talk with Him literally and ask Him Questions that have never been asked before by seemingly anyone and at times we would share laughs and tears together, and I couldn't use any words to describe how He is, He is beyond Awesome!!! :il: :il: :il:

What a Wonderful experience just reading all the posts here, Totally Amazing. I just got through discussing my experiences with Him today and He gave me instructions. His Sheep do hear His voice but many often do not have the willingness to listen to it because of the enemy puts His voice and thoughts in their heads and they are overcome by it but they fail to realize it. He told me today that some bear and produce fruits at a faster rate then others because of the willingness to listen to the voice of God. God speaks in Gentle whispers as they say, and in order to hear a whisper one must be close to the individual to hear what they are saying. And the Gentleness of His whispers cannot be heard by a crude heart, but blocks the flow of the Holy Spirit because it becomes Grieved. If one is not willing to listen to even His shouts then how can one let alone hear His Whisper, especially when one is far from Him. God is my Father and He teaches me and instructs me daily but oftentimes I fail to take heed or fail to listen to His clear instructions, this if continued may result in shouts, because the individual is dull of Hearing. I know this because I am at times dull of hearing.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

In order for one to understand this verse in Scripture Fully one must be close to God and the understanding of God will reveal it to the individual who is close to God. God does not exist in everything but He can utilize anything for His Ultimate Purpose to those who are led by the spirit and are fulfilling His Will here on Earth. In order to understand if one is knowing for sure that they are indeed hearing the voice of God that person must examine Himself/Herself if they are in fact listening to the voice of God by obedience to His words within the Scriptures such as Loving one another and forgiving one another and looking out for one another and showing a Spirit of True Humility with each other and obeying His Commandments. If one is constantly rejecting or failing to take heed to His instructions or failing to accept rebuke by Him and sinning wilfully are not up and close with Him and are not Hearing His voice, therefore this person cannot fully identify or know for sure that the voice they hear is indeed that of God Himself and not the Devil or His fallen flunkies! I was once an individual who constantly failed to take heed from my God and to never accept correction where correction is needed. Soon did I realize that the Enemy was mopping the floor with me because of this.

True Understanding comes from first realizing that we are no better than anyone else and that we all deserve to be condemned and the willingness to obey His instructions so that this person in turn may develop a better understanding of God and Grow in Wisdom and draw Closer to God and achieve better spiritual understanding and Heavenly Wisdom which is given By the Holy Ghost. Then the individual will thirst for more understanding of God an will at a Graceful Rate develop and even more Greater understanding of the creator, and in His Perfect Timing will begin to Manifest Himself to that individual.

The Words that Jesus spoke are clear and simple if one can understand with the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 11:3 - But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Many keep the commandments due to fear of being condemned and not because out of the Love they have for Christ and what He did for them on the Cross. And this person in turn will desire to serve God faithfully out of Love for Him and in return God will manifest Himself to Him. If one suffers in this world because of loyalty and True Love for Him then they have shown that they are True Children of God, and as God the Father is now in Christ, the Father Loves the Son and will result in the Believer Loving God as a Honorable Son loves His Father and as a Father who Honors His Son, this understanding will dwell within them.

Example:

Revelation 3:19 - As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

The verse above clearly shows the Father within the Son as Almighty God, it is Jesus who is speaking to John in the Book of Revelation and describes how He chastens those who He loves. This is often the Duty of a FATHER, and as Children or sons of God they will receive chastening, This demonstrates that the FATHER is In the SON.

My wife Shammah hears the Lord often, with also dreams and visions; maybe I can get her to say something, but it's personal and only if the Lord allows.

She spent manys months seeking and crying out to the Lord for hours everyday, and wouldn't tell me why? But the Lord started to speak and give dreams , and visions.

The enemy also came in to try to counterfeit, but he was exposed, he brings forth bad fruit ! The words ect. must be tested, the enemy will try to sound biblical but vain instead of holy, attention on gifts instead of the Lord, devils will try to get you to do things, but the Lord desires obedience out of Love and Godly fear.

Test everything by the word, the fruit, and righteousness!

So the Lord has given her this special closeness; when she tells me a word from the Lord, whether a warning, a message, words of Love, prophecy, or a rebuke: if its really of the Lord(which it has been,because of diligent testing). When the word hits my Spirit it is as a wittness (the magnitude of His greatness sends shivers in my spirit and soul); this is the fear of the Lord, but the awesomeness that the Lord of the universe would take time with nobodies like us! Then after the awesome fear, and that my spirit has wittness my Fathers Spirit; praise and overflowing Love, even in a rebuke, I repent, but I love Him for Loving me enough to correct us lowly vessals!

The Lord has given me one very strong vision; on something I knew nothing about, to prove it was a revelation from Him!

In my Vision; I saw two olive trees with branches at the top pouring oil into a bowl which fed a seven lamp menorah in the midst of the two olive trees. And then I heard clearly with exclaimation "Victory To The Israel of God"!!!

He has sinse shown me in Galations :6; that the kingdom isn't Jew or Gentile circumcision or uncircumcision, but now has gone from what was natural Israel ,to the spiritual (Israel of God)! He showed me Romans :11; which proved we have been grafted into the olive tree along with the natural branches by the spirit. He shown me Rev.11:4; The two olive trees with the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth! But the one that matched it perfectly was Zechariah.4:2; which was what I saw and in verse 14; it says "These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth" These are the same two olive trees as in Rev.11! Zech.4; speaks of the completion, of the Temple, and presenting the headstone,(type of christ); while the next time we see these olive trees in Rev.11; it speaks of the completion of God spiritual Temple(his people in whom He dwells)! As natural Israel was compared to an unfaithful bride; the Israel of God is Spiritual; and out of Her, He will choose a spotless and faithful bride! As Zerubbabel (which means to come out of Babylon) Zerubbabel is a type of Christ; building a temple made this time without hands; calling His people out of Babylon, to be unspotted by the world! Prepare your wedding garments; be as the wise virgins with the oil of the Holy Spirit! The Lord is choosing a Bride ; Be ready!

I cant go into more because it's late; but we are entering a new preisthood after the high priest of Melchizedek! Christ is our high priest and is preparing us for the order to come, a sealing is about to take place for the wise virgins, the ones making themselves ready! Forget about natural virgins, Christ see's us as virgins if we are faithful to him, without compromise; SEE, and worship Him in Spirit and Truth!

I will say that you speak the truth & have alot of knowledge.If someone hates you for speaking truth they hate the truth. Knowledge can be dangerous. I have hope your faith is as strong as your understanding.

I heard the voice once audibly and God has made his prescense very real to me personally a few times. He also spoke to me through another person once as an answer to a prayer.
