I have been hypnotized and was very much under the control of the person who hypnotized me. I was actually able to do things that I could not normally do. That is not a good thing, and can only benefit the hypnotist. I have also known of people who were hypnotized for the purpose doing surgery that the person could not be anesthetisized for. Like all things of the world, there is the good and the bad. It all comes from the tree of the knowledge of good, and evil. As for the christian, what possible need could they have for hypnotizm. It is not mentioned in The Bible so I would say that it has no value for them. You mention studying for the sake of knowledge of things. That is not Christianity, that is worldly. We Christians are told to read The Word always, to pray always, and to meditate in The Scriptures always. All of the Christians study should be God's Word under the tutaledge of The Holy Spirit. Like the wise old banker told the new teller who was spending a lot of time studying phoney bills so he would recognize the couterfits, study the real bills, and it will be much harder for them to run the counterfit past you. Christians have no need to study anything but God, and those who do will be much quicker in recognizing the phonies.

You cannot hypnotise somebody withought their permision, your subconcious would not allow it.

If somebody is naive enough to let somebody whom they do not truly trust to do it, well then...thats their fault. And the person who decieved the person who gave permision.

Hence why hypnotism for medical purposes is usualy dont only by a certified doctor, usualy under the presence of somebody else too ensure safety. Also, you subconcious will fight if its something very bad, or too complicated. Hence you cant hypnotise somebody and say "take off your clothes" it would not work, its too complicated, and you subconcious would most likely pull you out of the trance. You can get around this however, and I am hesitent to say how.

I also must say, that just because its not in the bible doesnt mean anything. Cars are not in the bible, rolor skates are not, neither are computers or internet, or headphones or coke (the drink). Doesnt mean its evil, and you dont need it.

I tried hypnosis once...it was a mess...the Dr. (is that what we call them?) couldn't hypnotize me...he said I had trust issues and would never to be able to be hypnotized.

My friend did it once....she doesn't talk about it much though. Maybe I will have to ask her again someday...since its been years ago maybe she will talk about it now.

Love and Blessings,

Angel

lol, see what I mean? Your subconcious would not allow hypnotism unless it trusts the person.

It's rather obvious that you have never been hypnotized by your words. The permission is given before the hypnotist starts. That is one form. There is another form that is very subtle, and it is better known as brainwashing used very successfully by the communists, and the Japanese during the war. satan has super natural powers, and will use them anyway that he can, and he has been very successful in deceiving a lot of folk with his counterfit of Godly people. Unless you can qualify yourself as representing God on this issue, you do need to be careful of what you might teach to the novices who read these posts. The reason one should not get involved in hypnotizm is because it is not in The Bible, therefore it is not needful for the Christian.

hmmmmm I never put hypnosis and brainwashing in the same catergory before...but if you think about it it makes sense....one just takes longer than the other...

lol. No. Confirmation is needed for hypnotism, confirmation by your subconcious. Like I said, there are ways around this, but its illegal to use them.

The devil the devil the devil, its all about the devil. Everythings the devil. Its all the devil. devil!

Is that all yall talk about? The devil. I seriously see more devil fearing than god worshiping here. It should not be that way.

Sure satan has supernatural powers he satan. God has them too. Hes god. Anybody can have them, we are human.

Great, its not in the bible and thats enough to validate it? How idiotic. Sticky notes are not in the bible. Neither are soda cans, or chat rooms. Radioactivity is not in the bible. OMG radioactivity is the DEVIL. The devil uses radioactive substances to poison us!

Do we need soda cans, or any of the other things you mentioned? Could we still be Christians if we didn't have them. We don't need to run away from satan we confront him with God's word and he has to go. But you can't ignore him either or he will trap you. We are engaged in war, and in war you face your enemy everyday. Like the old saying goes if you can't stand the heat get out of the fire. Where ever you find a Christian you will find satan or some of his boys hanging around. they are the first ones in the door whenever the church is open. Nobody ever won a war by ignoring the enemy just because they knew they had more power than he has.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
