Though the woodward tornado in 1947 was nearly two miles wide, the wind speeds were not nearly as voilent as that Day in May in OkC. We clocked wind speeds in excess of 300 mph in the general area of being a mile wide.... That tornado started in the southern part of the state and was on the ground for hours and nearly ended up in Kansas. I don't know what we could have been doing to Israel on that day or just before...... or maybe Oklahomans are just evil even though we do still pray in our school rooms.
