Race? I am sick and tired of hearing the race card played. I was called a racist because I voted for McCain. Yes I voted, so yes I can complain.

Race has nothing to do with this, and MG do you forget the swill that was posted about bush? Stealing the two elections, how it was really his brother who got him the presidency?Or how about that he planned 9/11 to have an excuse to go to war with Iraq? Lots of stuff that was said that did not ever really go away. If you do not like the mud slinging, then stay out of politics. Its part of the game, sad as it is but you know its true.

The reason people clung to it is this, If it was some how proven true, then, in theory everything the president signed would become moot, and no longer law.

I belive the people who are on about this, feel the same way. Race is not the issue. As I have said before I did not pay much attention to his issue until about a month ago.

One thing I have noticed, he has tried to hide the place of his birth. He has spent money to keep it hidden. Why? Did Michelle Obama say he was born in Kenya?

Again many more questions then real answers.

You just regurgitated nearly all of the talking points circulated by the CTs. Also the 'but look what they did to Bush' rubbish is OLD; yes, Mr. Bush was unfairly criticized and wrongly accused; did he care? Didn't seem to; it's only the far right zombies that are still crying about that stuff (much as the far left zombies are still whining about what was done to Clinton). News flash; GWB is not one of you! Racism is alive and well in America; It is what it is and pretending it's not won't make it untrue.

Racism is alive and well in America

Yep, and all races are guilty of it.

But I will say, I'm sick to death of the racist tag that the media pins on any white person who dares criticize Obama for ANYTHING.

One of you?... What are you referring to.

No it is alive and well, I know, but I don't think for one moment that race has to do with any one on this board's opinions about Obama. To make it that it is our motivation, is simply wrong and unjust. I have experienced racism many times, and I must say, its been towards me, from minority's, who cry race! I have had a boss mistreat me because I was not a "Brother" I have been accused of racism, simply because I was of a lighter color then they were, and they went off on how "Evil" white people were for being racist. The only time race is an issue at all, is when someone of any race under the sun makes it such. You must make it one otherwise it is not an issue. I am actually 1/4 Native American, my father is on a reservation at this moment, I am a minority. I have ample room to complain about racism and to pull the race card if I so wish, but I refuse to say that anything that is done to me is because of race. I refuse to play that game.

So tell me, are you accusing anyone here of being racist? If so just come out and say it, as thats the feeling I am getting from you.

Also Sunflowerwife did make a blatant statement that we were all raciest as this whole idea was driven by racism and racism alone, which as you have already state is not the only reason.

Also I did not decide to become a "Birther" lightly. I looked at what everyone has said, on both sides for years before making my decision. I have seen how this president has dealt with other issues. I have seen how he has tried to sweep embarrassing parts of his past under the rug, or explain it away, and in this he seems to be doing the same. I know all politicians do this, and this is one issue I feel he is dodging, and that is why I have even started to pay attention. I have also seen the video where Mrs, Obama said that Kenya was his home country, as well as aids is spread because of Homophobic people. Also the fact that this has gone on so long, has got my attention, since simply providing a birth certificate that was would end this.

Also the 'but look what they did to Bush' rubbish is OLD;

As for that statement I would agree but so is your statement of

This stuff IS all complete swill and makes the perpetrators look like morons.

I have seen this statement applied in many versions to anyone that does not happen to agree with what others belive. Not only you have said that. This is an old argument when there is nothing better to say or objective facts to bring in as proof. It is hurtful and spiteful and mean, however.

Should we behave in this way though. Especially as those who belong to the Lord. Should we get our hands dirty in this manner?

No we should not, matter of fact the only reason I got involved in this thread, though I have been loosely keeping an eye on it, is that people pulled the racism card and accused all of us who belive that Obama was born elsewhere is a racist and that is over the line.

And with that statement starts the usual garbage.....NO ONE in this thread said the above (in bold). that is flat out untrue.. The posts were not about you personally nor did they accuse EVERYONE of being racist who believes the CTs. If you can quote a post that did, from anyone, please do so now.

GWB is NOT a conservative so why do does the right run to defend him so much?

So tell me, are you accusing anyone here of being racist? If so just come out and say it, as thats the feeling I am getting from you.

I ALWAYS come right out with it, Isaiah, so don't bait me. I'll not tolerate it.

It is hurtful and spiteful and mean, however.

Yeah, lots of stuff is classified that way that's merely true.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
