Like in this case, satan pretended to be Jesus, but said we don't need to repent to get to heaven, which obviously is wrong. Could he ever try and trick you into believing he's Jesus by telling you something that aligns with scripture, getting you to start listening to him, thinking it's Jesus, but all the while you're being led astray?

The devil might tell you several truths to get you to trust that it is him, and the bible does warn us of his representatives also.

(Mat 24:5 KJV) For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

That is why it is so necessary to study the bible.

(1 Tim 4:6 KJV) If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.

(2 Tim 3:16 KJV) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

(2 Tim 3:17 KJV) That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Thank you all for your help. It's been two days now where nothing out of the ordinary has happened and I don't think it was a coincidence that it was two days ago that I asked my friends and family, whom I go to Church with, to come over for a group prayer. We prayed on our knees for a half an hour to the Lord and asked Him to protect this household. So far, nothing has happened. Every day I wake up, pray and read a little bit of His Word (even though I've read it all I still like to read it just to keep it fresh in my head). I also follow the same routine before I go to sleep now.

Although I was horrified in the beginning it turns out that it has been a good learning experience for me. I believe Satan attempted to have me turn away from Salvation but in Truth all he did was CONFIRM my Faith for me by proving his existence with the lottery numbers. Since Satan proved his existence, he also proved the Lord's. Perhaps this is why God allowed Satan to do what he did?

Brother, don't be deceived. You were being fooled by a demonic being...obviously Satan doesn't like what you're doing for the Kingdom and he's trying to derail your efforts and what better way than to appeal to your flesh, eh?

I agree with this too....but I believe this was a test.

I used many drugs in my past ....the BLOOD covered all those sins totally.

Still, Satan is the Father of Lies....forget him. He's a liar; always has been.

Man, may I make a suggestion?

Just get on your knees and beginning praising God and maybe singing hymns and just giving God all the praise, glory and honor. Satan just hates that and boy that'd really make him ill (for awhile anyway)....tee, hee...

Here is some advice, go to God in the Name of Jesus Christ with this suggestion, do you focus to much on fire, and brimstone, and judge with your judgement, most of the time, and/or sometimes, rather then let God do what He wants with people. We need to Hear what The Holy Spirit is saying, and obey Him, in doing that, we will be lead correctly in what we do.

Also if a spirit comes to you if you can remember to do the test Christ gave for us to do, say do you believe Jesus Christ came in the flesh, and do you believe Jesus Christ is Lord.

Will you tell me what church are you in? Remember you can do fasting, and prayer, and study the scriptures. What scriptures do you study?

Remember what Jesus Said to satan when satan came to Him, remember the three times this happened use the scriptures to fight satan off.
