Great work!

Along those lines, I came across this awhile back and had it on my favorites for later reference (If the need arose) You may want to write on this as well. These are just a few people who wish they had not had sexual reassignment surgery. I'm sure you can google to find more, but it's not common knowledge that people go through this and change their minds.

http://ai.eecs.umich.edu/people/conway/TS/Warning.html

I think we need to let the world know that we have compassion for these kinds of people (and gay people) and that this may kind of compulsion may not feel like a choice, but it is not something we are born with either.

People are born with all kinds of compulsions they feel they were 'born with' - to be gay, to want to change genders, even to cut off their own limbs (called "Body Integrity Disorder")

Homosexuality is against The Law (Leviticus 18:22). Christ made it perfectly clear that The Law (found in the first five books of the Bible, namely Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy) IS STILL IN EFFECT TODAY, and will be FOREVER (Matthew 5:17-18).

So this really shouldn't be a difficult issue. We ought to obey God and His Perfect Law ONLY (Acts 5:29) just as we have been Commanded to do for our own individual and collective benefit.

Would you care to elucidate on what you mean by "against the law" as opposed to it being a sin?

Isn't it a sin if its against the commandments? Sin is the transgression of the law, 1 John 3:4. God says its wrong, we find that in the instructions He left us. But not sure if thats what you are asking about.

Homosexuality is a sin warned and condemned about over a DOZEN timin scripture. Let us not spit in God's face by saying something HE called an ABOMINATION is now somehow ok. I will admit it is hard when other christians and even churches fall into the political correctness trap, but we MUST take a stand. It is ssa the sins of adultery and fornication have become accepted. Lets not make the same mistake with Homosexuality. On a final note, I personally have seen violence by gays simply because they were disagreed with. Gays are VERY violent, and are NOT the innocvictims hollywood and the media would have you believe.

I think that is something many Christians are upset about; they want either a theocracy or special treatment for Christianity. If Christianity doesn't get that special treatment than the law is somehow anti-Christian. Just something I've noticed; to give Christianity special rights and privileges is fair, but to treat it like every other religion is taboo. Not all Christians are like this though, but there's enough out there.

I don't know why anyone would want to build a society around a theocracy. Any time that happens you seem to end up with a society that is killing people because they didn't follow "the law".

When that theocracy is not headed by God and His rules yes it becomes all about men, greed and all things associated with man. When Messiah returns we will be living under a 'theocracy' a righteous ruler will be in place and all will live peacefully under Him.

This is just my viewpoint, but even the theocracy that the Israelites lived under was not one that I would hold in high regard. I would never want to bash someone to death with stones because they weren't a virgin on their wedding night. This was given to the Israelites by God correct? Any theocracy is "bad" in my book.

Yes and no, Israel was to set itself apart from the others and live under the rules God gave, and if people were following those rules there wouldnt be any problems. But mans heart is not bent towards God is it? we make the choice to believe and walk in faith and still we mess up. If you find where anyone was actually stoned in scriptures let me know, theres a few instances where we read it might happen, the adulterous woman comes to mind, but off hand I cannot remember one instance of anyone being stoned besides the guy in the exodus. And that guy was outright defying God but we also see that Moses had to go to God to find out what to do. No one bashes a woman who may not be a virgin but cancel the wedding, we see that in the example of Joesph and Mary, he wasn't going to stone her but leave her.

If everyone lived according to Gods ways even on this earth theres still no way this worlds going to be ok its going to take Him coming again to set up His govt, His rules and all with a changed heart to live correctly. I personally would not want to live under a theocracy without Yeshua as the King.

shalom,

Mizz

You're aware that that line of reasoning is the exact same one used by every fascist government in the history of mankind... right?

Oh for heavens sakes! We are talking about His rules not a fascist ruler as well as living under Gods reign and not mans. And as I wrote man cannot be left to rule themselves, man cannot rule himself or others well at all at least not for any length of time and yes we see that in fascist, socialistic, even within a republic as America is and was supposed to be.

The point was that "if you guys follow the rules, everything's gonna be just peachy" doesn't really excuse harsh and arbitrary laws, nor do those harsh and arbitrary laws coming from God instead of man make them any easier more pleasant to live with.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
