Angel,

Great post! You said so much of what I've been feeling lately. I have been reading these boards for almost a year now and this is only my second post. I'm a little shy and also not quite sure how to get around in this posting stuff. Would love to put a smiley here but not quite sure how to do it. LOL. Anyway, not to get off subject here, I have learned so much from reading these posts. And there are so many wonderful people here, I feel like they are family even though I don't haven't actualy "talked" to any of them. To see so many of these posts getting out of hand with hurt feelings and even people leaving just breaks my heart. And I'm sure it's breaking our Lord's heart too. I'm reading a book by Richard J. Foster, ( Celebration of Discipline) and was reading today about submission, and some of the points really hit home today and I thought "maybe I'll start a topic on it" and then thought "What if it goes like all the others" and decided not to. Then I came across your post and had to reply.

I want all of you wonderful people out there to know that there are some people out here who may not post but do read and learn from you and love you. To see threads that turn hurtful to each other. hurts us too. Sorry I rambled on, but just felt I had to say this.

I love you all. I'll go back into lurking mode now. Would place a smiley here if I knew how. lol

God Bless you All

Sue

Thank you Sue, for coming out of lurking mode with that reminder. Sometimes I think we forget that others read our words, people we may not know at all.

Great thread Angel.

Thanks Sue for joining us! We would love to hear from you more. If you want a smiley in the body of the text, to your left of you response you should see a box called clickable smiles and see a bunch of cute little smiles. Just click on it and a formula for it will appear, but when you submit your post it will show up!

Hello refugepsa91, Welcome to Worthy Boards! Or Welcome back I should say...

We're all vessels struggling to be made perfect. All of us need to pray for one another and let ourselves be molded into what the Lord has purposed us for.

>>> This vessel has a few cracks in it, but the POTTER is mending them, someday I'll be flawless!<<<

Blessings~

Pam

Sometimes I think we forget that others read our words, people we may not know at all.

This is why I love the internet. You can go to any Forum and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ(If it is allowed) and anyone can read it. I was on a video game forum and a topic was created. It was called,"Does God Exist." Everyone that was posting appeard to be atheist, and they where really bashing God. In fact most of them did not know how Jesus died, well thats is what they asked me anyway. So after seeing all the God bashing I decided to stand up for The Lord, and I was the only one at first. Later more Christians started posting, and we all shared the gospel with everyone. We did get some rather harsh comments, but that did not matter. Anway, I do not know if any of them accepted Jesus or not, the ones posting did not sound like they really cared, but you never know. Also, anyone could have read it as well. They could have been lurking and maybe accepted Jesus just by reading it and not replying.

Personally, I think we Christians need to spread the Gospel over the internet via message boards/fourms(if you know how). Because anyone with internet access can read these posts if they stumble across them. The internet is a fantastic tool for Christ. And besides, there is a lot of "bad stuff" on the internet, and I think we need to show the world the "good stuff". :)

Anyway, sorry to ramble on. I just felt moved to post this.

In Christ's Love,

J.C.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
