Thank you all for your comments! I have to say, I REALLY believe that the Lord is preparing something "in the wilderness" right now. You know how it is, when you know in your heart, treasure in your heart something that has not been yet? That is exactly how I am feeling. We cannot get situated in a church right now, because that is not where we're supposed to be. There's something that God is preparing, that I feel is much like what the first church was like. It's outside of the "corporate" church, and His Holy Spirit will come then, and it will be massive. It won't be like our current day churches, where 1 or 2 walk an isle every now and then, it will be thousands, and they will have true heart-broken repentant salvation experiences, and will say "what shall we do?". I can't explain it, but I think it will be as the church of Acts. I just don't know when or where?

Those are just my inner most thoughts and what is on my heart.

In His Love,

Suzanne

Suzanne, My spirit agrees with you. He is calling a lot of us into the wilderness, to feed us there and prepare us for His work.

He calls His sons and daughters to the wilderness. Have you read the whole chapter of Ezekiel 34? This is what is happening today in the "corporate churchs".

Shepherds not feeding the flock, getting fat themselves while the sheep starve.

Not going and searching out those sheep who have left or those who are lost.

God says its not by His might or by His power that He will accomplish His will but by His Spirit. You and your husband I believe are following the leading of His Spirit.

I will continue to pray for His will to be done by You. Your on the right track sister. Blessings

Yes, I know this is True. Yesterday the message we heard was from the Book of Luke. Here is the essence of it:

Luke 4

14 Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region. 15 And He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all. 16 So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. 17 And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: 18 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; 19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord." 20 Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. 21 And He began to say to them, "Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing." 22 So all bore witness to Him, and marveled at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth. And they said, "Is this not Joseph's son?" 23 He said to them, "You will surely say this proverb to Me, 'Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in Your country.' " 24 Then He said, "Assuredly, I say to you, no prophet is accepted in his own country. 25 But I tell you truly, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, and there was a great famine throughout all the land; 26 but to none of them was Elijah sent except to Zarephath, in the region of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow. 27 And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, and none of them was cleansed except Naaman the Syrian." 28 So all those in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath, 29 and rose up and thrust Him out of the city; and they led Him to the brow of the hill on which their city was built, that they might throw Him down over the cliff. 30 Then passing through the midst of them, He went His way.

* Note how they all were pleased and marvelled at Him, here.

* But oh how quickly they turned on Him when He spoke of how in the days of Elijah, there was blessing given only to the widow (outside his own region) because those people of Elijah's own region WOULD NOT HEAR! They had become hardened to the Word. Then the healing of Naaman the Syrian?!!! He was Israel's enemy, but HE WAS HEALED, because HE LISTENED AND OBEYED!!!

God's very own, became too proud and hard hearted to hear, so He took the message and blessings elsewhere. I believe that is the very essence of the church today. We have become as the Jews..............too smug and sure of our salvation, and cannot be bothered with TRUTH anymore. And then just like in Luke 4, when we do hear the Truth spoken in the sanctuary, we are outraged, and throw the prophet OUT, OUT, OUT!!!! Now the Word will go outside the church, into the wilderness to the likes of those of Naaman and the widow of the region of Sidon.

In His Love,

Suzanne

Suzanne, if you get time listen to these sermons, especially "thundering in nashville"....This is what a repentance preacher is all about, not everybody would like him....

Dear jamie,

I never could get the link to work for me, but my husband did at his office. He said that Andrew and he were both preaching from the SAME BOOK! :o He was very impressed! Of, course it helps confirm, when you hear someone else preaching the same message you are! I'm hoping he can make me a copy somehow. It's getting passed around though. The link should be busy!

Thanks!

In His Love,

Suzanne

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
