I think that it is blasphemous to include Judaism and the Catholic church in your list. You should read more carefully before you make a statement like the one you just made. In Revelation, there will be a 1 world religion and most likely all the religious leaders of those religions will come together and agree on a unified faith. I believe in the pretribulation rapture, but, it doesn't mean that the Christian religion will be gone after the rapture. There will still be adherants to Christianity that aren't true Christians. So, yes, "Christians" will fall in line with the false prophet. We also know that the Jewish people, as a collective will not recognize Christ as their King until the very last possible moment. Regardless of when, there will be Jewish people that fall in line with the false prophet and the unified world religion. So, I am completely accurate in putting those religions on that list. There are Christian churches now that are apostate and we all know it. But, they still call themselves Christians, don't they?

Proper studing always answers most questions. If you were to look up the word "mountains" you would find that it also means "kingdoms or nations" in the Greek. I agree with all of the other posters in that though Jesus was a Jew he did not practice Judism like the jews did even in his day. What Jesus did practice was the Mosaic law or worship as it was set forth by Moses which was not a burden to the people like it was in the days of Jesus or today. There are some who believe that because Rome sets upon seven hills that the seven mountains are speaking of Rome but a hill is not a mountain and Rome is not seven nations or kingdoms.

The fact of the matter is that the word of God is not very clear as to what the mountains and the horns are speaking about so any conclusion as to what they might be is nothing more then speculation or assumption.

The "horn" in scripture almost always represents Power.

As for the blaphamy jaybo is speaking of I must say that he has taken what is to be considered to be blasphamy and stretched it a long way to get blasphamy out of your list.

The word "scarlet" Represents the color of blood and the kind of beast spoken of is not mentioned however many believe that the beast is a bull. I try to keep my opinions in line with scripture. I read an article today, that changed how I viewed the names of blasphemy on the scarlet beast and I wanted to share those feelings with people here. I don't need validation and I don't need someone to assume they know enough about me to cast judgement on me.

Point blank. What are the 7 hills, could they be symbolic of the world, the 7 continents? I understand Antarctica is practically unmanned, but we do have 7 regions of the world. We have North America, South America, Asia, Europe, Australia, Africa, and something that never tends to stay out of the news. . .the Middle East. I know it is a region between Europe, Asia and Africa, but the world sees it as its own region. So with those 7 regions, we also have the top 10 religions of the world. We also have apostasy in Judaism and Christianity. The apostates of Christianity and Judaism will unite with the other religions to form a unified world religion. Did you even bother to read the article I sourced in my statement? The Pope, Benedict the XVI called on a unified world currency and held a meeting that included the leaders of the world's religions. Those aren't my "prejudices" coming out, this is actually happening.
