Cranberries is good- classic memories listening on the stereo at the small animation studio I worked at. I only remember one song w/a curse word.

I listen to very unusual, yet very enjoyable music every day while working on indie video game art:

Video game music on You Tube (and some from iTunes/CD). Soul Calibur 3 & 4, Tekken 6, Final Fantasy 12, Castle Crashers, and many more. Some of it is orchastrated, some is just rockin'. We've come a long way from 8 bit-

I rarely ever listen to secular music as it tends to remind me of when I was out in sin. If it does not glory Jesus, then Christians have no business listening to it. God saved me from that mess. My opinion here.

I love secular music:

Black Sabbath

Ozzy Osbourne

Cradle of filth

Lamb of God

All happen to be my favourites.

Hummm, I guess I just was never really involved in "that mess" in ways that music would take me back.

Really! lol and which version did you sing, in a garden of eden?!

I am so stuck in the 60's-70's with some others from the 80's-90's. CCR, Eagles, Creed, Queensryche, so many to list, can't say I listen to a lot of music these days but it is sure fun singing all of them on karoke!

I truly enjoy upbeat INSTRUMENTAL jazz. I emphasis the instrumental as I feel the vocals detract from the music and typically speak of things that belong behind the private door of the marital bedroom. Just give me the music and make sure I can hear the trumpet dueling with the saxophone and trombone!

Actually I pulled the vocals out of it..... sooooo I would have to say no. My version is about an hour and a half long all music and takes up an entire DVD.... my wife hates the song with a pashion.... it's still one of my favorites.

I really didn't get into the heavy metal stuff. I think one needs an alternate reality to enjoy that stuff... innagotadivita was about the closest thing that I got to heavy metal.

When I was in college one of my Calculus classmates had a ten year old son that could play the drums on that song...... ti was awesome...

but hey, Celtic Woman gives me the same kind of goose bumps... music is just a tool to take you where you want to go..... and it can only take you where you let it..... It's that alternate reality that's the problem.
