If you like socialism, fine. We're Americans, we despise it.

BY THE WAY... you're a foreigner, so don't you DARE lecture us about what WE need to be concerned about. We are the country that has kept the world afloat since the end of WW2. We're the country that sends all the others food and decent water, builds a lot of their housing, pays to educate their children, brings them modern conveniences and defends them when they're too weak or too chicken-stuff to do it for themselves. WE give more of our money to foreign nations than just about any other country in the world. What has the rest of the world done for us? Curse us. Murder us. Figuratively dare to stick their bony little middle fingers in our faces. Blame everything bad in the world on us whenever they think they can get away with it.

We don't want government in our faces every time we turn around. Maybe YOU and the rest of the world like that sort of thing: WE DON'T. And if this offends you, good, because it's about time we Americans stopped taking guff from you and every other little pissant country in the world whose citizens dare to tell us what THEY think WE should do.

If they're giving you a check once a month, you don't have a choice.

It does not offend me since I am not parnoid like you. I live in Barbados, you can call it a pissant country if you chose to. I am a happy living in Barbados. Maybe you can take a trip sometime and visit and see if it is a pissant country or not. I have visited the USA, Florida and New Jersey and have lived in England. You should be concerned about the illegal drugs that come to the USA. If there was not a market for them I am sure the problem would be solved already. You seem to think the world revolves around the USA but it doesnt.

I have a drivers licenxe that identifies who I am. I fail to see the problem with an ID that says I'm a Citizen of the United States and identifies me as me.... It will be no different than my drivers license...

I am from Barbados in the Caribbean and an ID is issued to all citizens from 16 years. No one here has complained about it. When you go to the bank you use for identification. I am wondering why people would resent something like this. It seems rather strange.

I think I agree.... the same people who are bucking this are the very same ones who complain about illegals getting things from tax payers...... weird.

The thing about the ID card is that it is no substitute for a passport. Our ID card is only to be used locally. I think that when doing business at least a person should be able to identify themselves. When I go the bank or have business transaction where I have to show ID I use my ID card or my passport. When I travel to the USA I cannot use my local ID card. I think the fuss is really unnecessary. Countries like Barbados have a national health service, would Americans object to that too. I think there are more critical issues in the USA that people need to concerned about.

If you like socialism, fine. We're Americans, we despise it.

You seem to be suffering from paranoia. You call Barbados a pissant country. Would you be able to find Barbados on the map. I am not offended at anything you write, since I am happy where I live. Our literacy rate is 98% I am free to say what I want to say. The world does not revolve around the USA. Would be good if you can visit this island sometime, I have visited the USA, Florida and New Jersey and lived in England. You are hostile because someone decides to have a different opinion than you. Who do you think the USA is. Guess who America owes trillion of dollars to...China, so get off your high horse and look at the real world.

Nah, we're not concerned about the illegal drugs that come here. That's why we have an agency called the Drug Enforcement Administration. That's why our governments (national, state, local) spend millions to keep the crap out of the country. It's why Coast Guard cutters carry .50 caliber machine guns and 5"/38s to blast the sons of the devil out of the water when they try to bring it in. It's why our Air Force occasionally shoots down some of their aircraft, and why we sink their little mini-subs. It's why our cops pull the stinkbags over and lock them up. We're not concerned at all.

And Barbados IS a pissant country: Pissant means tiny. It's in the lesser Antilles and it's about 21 miles x 14 miles. A real nice place to visit.

Does the world revolve around the US? No, but they sure do love our money. I can't think of a single nation in the world that has ever said 'No thanks' to our money. If you want to carry an ID card and show it every time you do something, have at it. But don't expect those of us born free to think it's a great idea.

True. And what does that have to do with a national I.D. card?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
