What do you think of this prayer. it was pm'd to me by a member of Worthy now banned I believe?

It does not worry me in the least, I know my standing with Jesus, but it breaks my heart to know there are people out there who profess themselves to be Christian and then can "pray" this sort of thing...

All the italics are not my words, not my thoughts, nor my desires, they come from another source...

I know you love the Lord Jesus so much that you like I, want them who is going to bless the Lord Jesus the most with the blessings they have, so much that this will be acceptable to you as it is with me. So I sent you this so as you would know what happened to you. So you can praise the Lord for it as you see this come to pass.

Lord Jesus the Christ,

I petition thee to grant me this request.

I request that if this person using this screen name "Fez" on this web site, loves you more than I. Take all of the curses and all of the afflictions that are on their mind, heart and soul and all their life and put them upon me. Take all the blessings that God your Father has given to me and give them all to this person using the screen name "Fez" on this web site and all their love ones.

Many of us received the same prayer, except the names were changed. I see it as a way to make people fear if they do not agree with the member is question. The member has been banned for many reasons, not just this last violation against the ToS about spamming.

Yes several of us got the same thing, I think he took all those who had posted to him and felt the need to send us curses because no one believed what he said.

Its so sad I agree with some feel they have secret knowledge given to only them from Him. Yahweh does nothing in secret, I wish people who think they have been called as 'prophets' could see this. Prayer is what they need.

I got one too, but it seems like I got the same curse/prayer sometime back from another banned member of WB? It was a long time ago, so I can't remember who sent it? I am glad you posted it Fez, because like you, I am not worried about it, but I want to know where the prayer/curse came from? Someone must be teaching others to use it, because it was not original. Does anyone have any idea of a cult that would act in this fashion? :noidea:

By the way, if you did get this prayer/curse, I wouldn't worry about it. It is doubtful that anyone who would send such a prayer loves Jesus at all? He would never teach his disciples to pray such a prayer. As for the guy who sent it, I can't even recall having any confrontations with him? :noidea:

I received one too..and just reported them.

It's something how a person can send you a cursed prayer...

And not have the understanding that the things..they are asking

God to do to us...is turned right back around to them...

simply because they are out of line with Him.

They are cursing themselves with a curse...

Well I for one have not replied..much less had any idea he was even on Worthy. Last year some of us received a different type of email...with the same type of spirit (believing they had a secret knowledge given from God) ...and that person was banned. Maybe they came back with a new name...:noidea:

We should pray that his wish is not answered. IT is obvious to all that anyone who prays like this does not have the love of Christ; therefore, asking for all "curses" fall onto them. That sure is a heavy load to carry, if one believes in curses.

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
