The only thing we as Christians have agreed on here is that once a tattoo is etched into the skin, it is there to stay.

That being said, I don't think it's a good idea either because, especially for women, they're ugly and tacky looking. I watch 'Say yes to the dress' on t.v. and it seems half the brides have tattoos. Sorry, if I was a man I'd not walk down the aisle with a barb wire tattoo next to the white lace on the bride. Yuck! And then I have to say to each his or her own. I believe it's matter of attractiveness rather than salvation.

Yes there really are 56 stars on her face. After it was done, she then sued the tattoo artist in an attempt to get out from under her father’s anger over the event. A year later she has said she now regrets getting the tats. Edited July 16, 2012 by little brown church

For all the Host of Angels sing for every repented sinner. Thank you , Jesus. These christians who have to keep them on their skin...is because , it costs a lot to get them removed. Some have to get skin grafts .Skin grafts are costly too.

And what kind of tattoo 'artist' would do this to a kid's face anyway?

I think it depends on the state, but minors can't get work done without parental consent in many areas (not all, I suppose.)

I love it! He should put a little "d" ontop with an arrow pointing down to where it should go! That's not very cool there............. I find no humor in that. We seem to be posting pictures and judging now. Jesus said................ Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man. A few here need to mature. And where, pray tell, did I juge, sorry, judge? Does guilt make you post this? Am I a judge to point out who is also a judge. In response to my comment on the picture I posted, and what I wrote. Nope, I would say stay away from tattoo's, only because they don't achive anything, and as this one says, Only God will "Juge" me? He has to wear that his whole life! I don't see judgement in my comment. I just see a plain statement of my opinion of tattoo's (mild at best), and the truth that he has to wear it his whole life. (except for maybe expensive laser surgery). Now, pray tell, who is judging who?

The O.P. asked if tattoos were okay for a Christian; how did this thread devolve into a 'you did.... no, you did!' free for all? Honestly, sometimes this forum bears a strong resemblance to the secular boards. Not a good thing.
