Just a Reminder...

I agree, we are the light of the world, and that is shown through out actions, I went to a sermon once, and the preacher said he had an actual picture of Christ, he later grabbed a mirror, and let everyone see themselves in it. I found that to be very inspiring. We are the Only Jesus they are going to see, Jesus in our lives. Jesus is about Love and Mercy, now, if we show strife, or anger, how could we imitate the Love and Grace he's given us? Evidence of Christ, and a personal relationship, should be shown through our actions and our hearts. Now that verse quoted, How can we be a light, if we hide the Light in a testimony without Love? Put on Love which is the bond of perfection.

Brethren,

I'm not sure that anyone has ever been argued into a relationship with Jesus Christ. I wasn't although many tried for years to no avail. On the other hand, I know many who have been LED to Jesus Christ though the expressed LOVE of believers. I just thought this may be appropriate to consider and reflect on your motives before you enter into a discussion with anyone, believer and non-believer alike, regarding your FAITH.

Matthew 5

13 "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.

14 "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden;

15 nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.

16 "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Express your FAITH saints but let God do the work. He is FAITHFUL and desires that all men come to HIM through the Blood of HIS Son Jesus Christ.
