As many times as I read about the Ark of the Covenant in the Bible... It must not have sunk in me ....about King Solomon hiding it from enemies in secret

tunnels and passageways.

I hope that the archaeologist discovers it . That would be something that we all must see.... the Ark of the Covenant

I spent a number of years worshiping and studying with the WWCoG. Mr. Armstrong was a very interesting person. His abilities to bring out truths out of the Bible was unique in my personal studies of the Word, unfortunately those truths were added to and would take one right back under the whole law... very bad juju...

One thing I would say about him is that he never charged a dime for any of the Church's publications when he was alive and in control of things.

We left the church long before he died, even befor he and his son Garner Ted had a falling out.... I didn't think it important to keep up with them after Herbert died.

I think they should just dig the place up and find out once and for all whether the Ark or any other treasures are buried there.

With the technology and engineering skills at their disposal today they could restore the site after the dig so that you wouldn't even notice anything had been disturbed. And since there is a good probability that something is down there, it would be a shame to leave it undiscovered.

I think it's not having the ashes of the red heifer that keeps them from building the temple..... I don't think they will ever attempt to rebuild it until they find those ashes.

I agree...it would be WONDERFUL for Christians (and Jews) if the Ark of the Covenant was found. We just have to be careful not to trust anyone or everyone who makes claims that are not substantiated. If it's real, then the finders will step up and tell the world; they won't remain unnamed. :lightbulb2:

This is real and proof enough for me that there was an Ark of the Covenant...in the Bible...(Old Testament) instructed by God to Moses.

That one was build by human hands.

In the New Testament....

After Jesus' death ...He told His dicsiples to wait for the promise of the Holy Spirit ...(the day of pentecost)

By the indwelling of the Holy Spirit of God... is proof of being born again from above. Our body ..houses the Holy Spirit, not made by human hands,

but rather made by God...as His dwelling place. Instead of God dwelling in the Ark , a man made box...He uses our body to dwell in.

Acts 3 : 16-17

16- Do you not know that you are the temple of God

and that the Spirit of God dwells in you ?

17-If anyone defiles the temple of God,

God will destroy him. For the temple

of God is holy, which temple you are .

The Queen of Sheba was from Ethiopia and it is said that she had a child by Solomon and her son traveled to Israel when Solomon was old and Solomon had that son take the Ark to Ethiopia for safe keeping and it is there today in a church.

Yep..I saw the write up about that. It may be in that church. But, the difference are the green stones on either side of that Ark...it was not mentioned in the Bible .

Plus... Moses was married to an Ethiopian woman.

But...king Solomon ...had them bury it in secret under ground tunnels and passageways. It must be around where the Temple is...because Solomon

was in fear of it being destroyed, he had it hidden.

I would love for them to find the real one.
