The new city Jerusalem

I did some studying on the new city Jerusalem and just how big it will be, It's amazing to consider what the sight will be like, Bible scholars believe the size of it would stretch from miami to newyork and to denver and be just as high! Ponder that for a minute! One day God spoke to me in that still small voice and said consider what i created. the world in it's all it's splendor all the stars and i considered the wonder and glory of it all.Then God reminded me where he says in one of the gospels. Jhn 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Jhn 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also. God said if I could make all of what I did in 6 days imagine what I could do in 2000 years Glory to God He is preparing a place I rejoiced that day and had a shoutin fit!

It's amazing. A 1500 mi. cubicle span city of glory! There's nothing that we can imagine that can compare with such beauty beyond description. I would assume that it will have levels going up so high that the finest skyscrapers, as we understand now, will be absolutely nothing in comparison. The most interesting thing I can imagine is that the streets, for example, being of transparent gold will have God's glory shining through it. I believe that this will be the case with everything there. After all, the greatest sight will be the Lord Himself.

It is so hard to really grasp the size of it. What can you say......

a good size lot would be two acres in size 640 acres per sq. mile and 2,250,000 square miles for each level. 720,000,000 two acre lots.

Having the layer above it for support for shoping and food production and have the layers a mile high and you could get the entire world population and it's support on the first twenty layers.

There would be 1,480 layers left.

And this is just thinking in terms of human existance now with all our needs. What we will need in the hereafter is...... well, I don't have a clue.

We will have the Father and Jesus, what else is there......

The gates are the only material in the new city that will come from the ocean they will be made of pearl, every thing else would be made from things on land such as the foundations and the streets. The pearl is formed in an oyster when a grain of sand gets into it's shell, that grain of sand actually hurts the oyster so he secretes a fluid around the sand and eventually you get a pearl that is formed. All that we were was a hurt in the side of Christ but he made a beautiful bride from that! The pearl will be a reminder of that throughout eternity!
