"I have no wish to linger for weeks or months tied to machines"

I think we all have that wish. I want to go in my sleep.

Is this topic so scary that you're all trying to make it into a joke? People are well known to do such things. When something scares them so much that they can't handle it, they mock it.

I thought it was a good and fair question Tinky asked.

You are right.People choose to ignore things that are too scary for them.They do that in many ways.

I've read some of the post and I believe by human nature we all fear the unknown. However God said He would meet us there.

I believe if and when the time comes for the Christian there is an anointing that will make that moment all you have ever lived for.

How else can we understand martyrdom?

After having gone through it once already, I can honestly say no, it doesn't scare me in the slightest. It's not something any believer should worry about. The scripture is 100% true, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

May God bless you all

Hbr 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

The key word here is 'had'. :)

I believe that the split second that we leave here and enter eternity we will be more alive than we are now.

Will it be the flesh and bones that Jesus had when He rose from the grave? Perhaps not but those in Sheol saw Him and knew Him so - The Father has said - Eye has not seen nor ear heard ....... maybe even after death here on earth.

Strange how topics pop up in the chat room and then I saw this thread.

Everyday is a struggle for me to push on.

I try hard and seldom do not talk about all the side effects that people with Parkinson's live with on the forum.

In fact, I purposely try to play down what I go through daily.

I have to take twenty two tablets a day to keep me alive and with out them I would wind up in hospital and be force fed or placed on a life support machine.

It's amazing how our health can go down hill in such a short period of time.

From my diary. August last summer 2012,,

Today, I sat on my bed and timed how long it took me to get dressed.

A t shirt, pair of underpants and trousers,; it took me 32 minuets and 27 seconds. ( No Gold medal there)

Didn't need socks or it would have been longer' thank God I have carpet.

I just sat there and cried.

Breakfast saw cornflakes all over the carpet and milk up the walls, my shakes and dyskinesia is getting worse daily.

I have no fear of dying, I shall go home, I have no fear of living!

Why?

Beacuse He gave me life

Never give up;

push forward that is all I can tell you.

Everyday we have a chance to share our love for Jesus and what He has done for us.

What more can we ask for. :noidea: Jesus loves us.

Deuteronomy 31:8 8 The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged

ncn, can I ask you something. Do you feel shaky inside or is it onlky your hands that shake? Does Parkinson's cause you to run a low grade fever, of about 100?

There is something wrong with me, and the Docs don't know what.
