I think our happiness in heaven will in no way be any less than our happiness on earth. I think it's right in line with God's nature to give His children good gifts, including sharing eternity with our beloved pets.

Just my opinion.

Yes there are animals in heaven, all tame and all have the knowledge of God.

Well God can answer it absolutely though. I've been a Christian for 35 years... I've learned that for many things is best to take certain questions to God. If you pray and ask God, He can answer you too... or anyone for that matter. It's okay to ask that isn't it?

Be careful with this. It is certainly good to go to the Lord in prayer, but be sure not to mistake your own ideas for God's. It's easy to wish something to be true and claim it as an answer to prayer rather than patiently waiting for God's reply.

I read Alcorn's book. He does not convince that there will be animals in the millennium, ay least, because as someone

else said animals are mentioned in the Bible.

If all the trees of the field can clap their hands (Isa 55:11) then most anything is possible with God!

I think that all God's creation will join us in praises to our Creator/ I have to wonder why He would create something

as colorful as a rainbow eucalyptus tree, butterflys and flowers only to destroy them. My thoughts on the matter.

Romans 8

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

St. Maximos the Confessor, Third Century on Love, 32:

The soul has three powers: first, the power of nourishment and growth; second, that of imagination and instinct; third, that of intelligence and intellect. Plants share only in the first of these powers; animals share in the first and second; men share in all three. The first two powers are perishable; the third is clearly imperishable and immortal.

Although the saints seem to say animals perish, God can do anything, after all. I wouldn't be surprised if animals are in the new life.

The bible does not say, and there are things God did not tell us, mainly because we don't need to know.

Good point Fez

If i am understanding you guys correctly, what you're really saying is that you don't believe God has or will answer this question concerning our pets. ... and if He does answer us it will be along the lines of "You don't need to know right". This is the answer you expect because the outright support for it can't be found in the bible. Which is fine but I want to make sure I understand your perspective... because instead of stating what you believe in this matter, you are challenging mine. Which is to essentially say that you believe that God answering me on this matter is my imagination.

I am not making any definitive claim about whether or not God has spoken to you on this matter. There's simply no way for me to know that. My only point is that it is easy to attribute your own ideas to God. Many people do this everyday. My warning is to be cautious. How do you know this was from God? Was it revealed to you in scripture? If not, how was it told to you? Was it a vision? If so, you must ask what the source of this vision was (as it could be anything from God to demons to a hallucination). Was it simply a gut feeling? If so, how did you determine that this feeling came from God? Did it just feel like a spiritual revelation? If so, how does one determine what actually comes from God and what is just a misguided feeling?

Do you see my point? God may have spoken to you, but you must be cautious when it comes to these matters. Question. Continue in prayer. Read the scriptures. These things lead to truth with or without personal visions.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
